Chapter 25: Fight of the century!

When a Filipino got Isekai'd with a twist!

"Only I can summon those!"

Chapter 25: Fight of the century!

Kieth's heart raced as he processed King Youm's condition. The thought of losing Mochi sent a wave of panic through him. The little creature had already become a cherished companion, and the idea of handing it over to the king was unthinkable. As the two prepare themselves for the duel. Kieth's companion is trying to convince him not to fight King Youm, but Kieth decided to fight him from the beginning before they came to the dwarven kingdom.

"What?! Did you just say you'd planned all of this all along? This is ridiculous, Sir Hero! The king of dwarves is on another level (he's level 120); he's levels above you to begin with. So how can you win against him with your current level? Even if you have that kind of lethality, it won't matter for a gladiator like him." Sir Aleric panicked at their situation.

"Don't worry, I got some tricks or two up my sleeve. And besides, I don't need to beat him. I just need to throw him out of the arena," Kieth replied with a smirk.

Sir Aleric's eyes widened in disbelief. "Throw him out? You do realize that this is a duel to the death, right? You can't just toss a level 120 king out of the arena like he's a sack of potatoes!"

"And that's my secret, my friend. Want to see how a measly summoner can throw hands and go toe to toe with a legendary gladiator? Well, you're in the right show, my guy."

Sir Aleric shook his head, his expression a mix of disbelief and concern. "This isn't a game, Kieth! You're talking about a life-or-death situation. You can't just rely on tricks and hope for the best. What if something goes wrong?"

"Listen, Sir Aleric, Garth, Keriel, and Lariel. We don't have any choice here. Even if we change our approach here and try a talk-no-jutsu with that guy, it won't work. While we walk around the castle, I heard guards say that there are many envoys from other countries that tried to talk to him but ended up in an arena fight and died. So talking isn't an option here. The one he listens to here is his fist, so that's what I will give him," Kieth explains with a serious look.

Sir Aleric ran a hand through his hair, frustration evident in his posture. "I understand that, but you're still underestimating him. King Youm is not just any gladiator; he's a seasoned warrior with years of experience. You might have your tricks, but he has brute strength and skill that you can't just outsmart."

"Man, don't you trust me? The emperor put his full trust in me and even the other heroes, so you should too. And try to bet on me, I mean literally. Well, I heard people here bet on gladiators, so you should make the most of it," Kieth whispered to him.

"Hahahaha, I will trust you, sir hero! My king said to trust you (King Maluckis, the beast king), so I'll do that too, Grath shouted and laughed, tapping at Alaric's back, making him cough. "Hey, you should too. Don't you see his confidence? And watch the battle of the century!"He added.

"Yeah, even if you have the most ridiculous ideas. We're here to support you, Sir Hero, so we should do that. We will support you! Keriel and Lariel said in unison. And Keith just smirked. Then I'll give you a show that you'll never see!" Keith replied and turned around to walk to the arena to face King Youm.

As Kieth stepped into the arena, the atmosphere crackled with tension. The crowd roared, a cacophony of cheers and jeers echoing off the stone walls. He could see King Youm standing at the opposite end, a towering figure clad in ornate armor that gleamed under the harsh sunlight. The king's presence was imposing, his muscles rippling with power, and his eyes glinted with a mix of amusement and disdain.

"Welcome everyone! Are you ready for the fight of our year? "the announcer shouted, and all the crowd cheered as he raised his hand to introduce the fighters. "In the red corner! Meet our undefeated, untouchable, unmatched, strongest gladiator in the dwarven kingdom! Our Berserker of the Black Field! King...Youm!!!!!!!!!!" As he shouted his name, the crowd cheered even louder.

"Go beat that arrogant hero, majesty!"

"Yeah, teach that summoner his place!"

Kieth felt the weight of the crowd's expectations pressing down on him, but he pushed it aside, focusing on the task at hand. He could hear the chants, the jeers, and the encouragements, but all that mattered was the duel ahead. He took a deep breath, centering himself as he prepared to face the king.

"And in the blue corner!" the announcer continued, his voice booming across the arena. "We have the challenger, the one who dares to defy the might of King Youm! The Hero Summoners! The one who will show us the true meaning of courage! Give it up for the rumored demon lieutenant killer, the strongest summoner, Kieth Martin!!!"

The crowd erupted into a mix of cheers and gasps, the name "Kieth Martin" echoing through the arena like a battle cry. Kieth raised his hand in acknowledgment, a confident grin plastered on his face, but inside, his heart raced with adrenaline and uncertainty. He could feel the weight of the moment pressing down on him, but he had to channel that energy into something productive. Man, now I know the feeling, Pac-Man! He murmured to himself.

King Youm stepped forward, his armor clinking with each powerful stride. The king's voice boomed across the arena, deep and resonant. "You dare challenge me, summoner? You will regret this decision!" His eyes narrowed, and Kieth could see the fire of battle igniting within them.

"Regret? Nah, regrets aren't in my resume, King Youm!" Kieth shot back, his voice steady despite the tremors of fear that threatened to creep in. He could feel the energy of his companions behind him, their unwavering support bolstering his resolve.

"Are you going to fight me with just a measly normal clothes? Aren't you a little too arrogant and underestimating me, sir hero?" King Youm asks.

"Yeah, about that, open system! Summon exo suit level 3! Shotgun! Dragon's breath bullets.

"Oh, oh... I take it back that you're an arrogant kid; you might have the strength to back up your words. But even then, you're still no match for me. You're just a summoner, King Youm taunts.

And after he summons his gear, all of the people's jaws drop because this is their first time seeing a summoner able to equip their summon items. And it's not a weapon of this world; it's another world's weapons and items.

"Man, maybe this is going to be a tough fight for our king?" One citizen whispers.

The announcer raised his hand, signaling the start of the duel. "Fighters, take your positions!"

Kieth took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment settle on his shoulders. The arena was alive with energy, the crowd buzzing with anticipation. He could feel the eyes of the spectators on him, their hopes and fears mingling in the air. But he pushed those thoughts aside, focusing on the task at hand.

King Youm stood across from him, a mountain of muscle and experience, his expression a mix of amusement and contempt. The king's armor gleamed in the sunlight, and Kieth could see the intricate designs etched into the metal, symbols of his status and power.

"Prepare yourself, summoner!" King Youm bellowed, his voice echoing through the arena. "I will show you the true meaning of strength!"

Kieth smirked, his confidence bolstered by the exo suit he had summoned. "Bring it on, Your Majesty! I hope you can keep up! As he dashed towards the king, he used his skill, charge dash. The ground trembled beneath Kieth's feet as he launched himself forward, the exosuit amplifying his speed and strength. He could feel the energy coursing through him, a surge of adrenaline that sharpened his focus. The crowd erupted into a frenzy, their cheers blending into a deafening roar as he closed the distance between himself and King Youm.

"Foolish summoner!" King Youm growled, his voice a low rumble as he braced himself for the impact. The king's muscles coiled like springs, ready to unleash a devastating counterattack. Kieth's heart raced, but he pushed aside any lingering doubts. This was his moment.

With a powerful thrust, Kieth activated his Charge Bash skill, propelling himself forward with a burst of energy. He aimed directly for King Youm's midsection, hoping to catch the king off guard. The exosuit's enhancements surged through him, and he felt a rush of power as he collided with the king.

The impact was like a thunderclap, sending shockwaves through the arena. Kieth felt the force of the collision reverberate through his body, but he quickly regained his footing, ready for the next move. King Youm staggered back, surprise flickering in his eyes for just a moment before he regained his composure.

"You have some speed, summoner, heh, and a summoner who can fight like you is fun! Bring it on, summoner; show me more!" King Youm admitted, a hint of respect creeping into his voice. "But speed alone won't win this fight!" As he said that, something fell from the sky: a can of red and white metal. As King Youm looked at it, Kieth appeared behind him. Got a feeling you'd say that." As he said that, Kieth hid behind King Youm, and the can of metal that landed in front of King Youm exploded in a bright light with a deafening sound that made all the people around stagger and lose their balance for a second. As the king of dwarves staggered, Kieth didn't waste the opportunity and used his suit's other skill. "Charge punch! As he launches a powerful uppercut using his body momentum, he ducks down, making his punch more potent.

The impact of Kieth's uppercut connected with King Youm's jaw, sending the king reeling backward. The crowd gasped collectively, a mix of shock and excitement rippling through the arena. Keith could hardly believe it himself; he had actually landed a hit on the legendary gladiator.

King Youm stumbled but quickly regained his footing, his expression shifting from surprise to fury. "You dare strike me, summoner?!" he roared, his voice echoing like thunder. The king's eyes blazed with a fierce intensity, and Kieth could see the muscles in his arms tense as he prepared to retaliate.

"Yeah, I do!" Kieth shouted back, adrenaline coursing through his veins. He felt the weight of the crowd's anticipation, their cheers fueling his determination. "And I'm just getting started! As he said that, he summoned his shotgun again and dodged King Youm's attacks while firing at him with dragon's breath bullets.

The arena erupted into chaos as Kieth unleashed a barrage of dragon's breath bullets from his shotgun. The fiery projectiles streaked through the air, illuminating the arena with bursts of flame. King Youm, caught off guard by the sudden onslaught, raised his arms to shield himself, but the bullets found their mark, exploding against his armor with a series of deafening booms.

"You think you can defeat me with mere tricks?!" King Youm bellowed, his voice a mix of anger and disbelief. He charged forward, his massive frame barreling through the smoke and debris, determined to close the distance between them.

"Don't worry, I got plenty, my king! As he said that, Kieth summoned a water bottle and threw it behind him. As he did that, King Youm jumped towards him, and he jumped back so the king would hit the water on the ground. As King Youm hit the water, Kieth changed weapons again. into a modern crossbow and fired a shock bolt at King Youm. With the water under him, the volt shocking ability increases tenfold.

The shock bolt struck King Youm squarely in the chest, and the effect was immediate. The king's body convulsed as the electricity coursed through him, amplified by the water beneath his feet. The crowd gasped in unison, their eyes wide with disbelief as they witnessed the legendary gladiator momentarily incapacitated. And dash forward, King Youm, and prepare a roundhouse kick, combining it with his skill; he attains a new skill, the charge kick.

Keith's heart raced as he felt the surge of energy from his Charge Kick skill. He could see King Youm struggling to regain his footing, the shock bolt still coursing through his body. This was his moment. With a fierce determination, Kieth launched himself forward, his leg swinging in a powerful arc aimed directly at the king's head.

The crowd held its breath, the tension palpable as Kieth's foot connected with King Youm's temple. The impact was explosive, sending the king sprawling to the ground. Dust and debris flew into the air, and for a brief moment, silence enveloped the arena. Kieth stood there, panting heavily, adrenaline coursing through his veins as he processed what had just happened.

Your stamina: 40/6100

"Fuck, this is bad. Using skill like that back to back eats away so much stamina rather than mana. I'm getting tired because of that. But that bastard isn't getting more damage even after I threw my strongest attacks. He hasn't hit me with all he's got, like he's toying with me. If it comes to worse, I'll have to use my minigun or mask rider transformation, but I can't risk it. If he destroys it, I can't resummon it anymore. Tsk," Kieth said, clicking his tongue, and King Youm stood back up again with a smirk etched on his face.

King Youm wiped the dust from his armor, his expression shifting from anger to a twisted sense of amusement. "You have spirit, summoner. I'll give you that. But you're still just a child playing with fire. You think you can defeat me with your tricks and gadgets?" His voice boomed across the arena, echoing off the stone walls.

Kieth felt a surge of defiance rise within him. "I'm not just playing, Your Majesty! I'm here to win, and I'm not backing down!" He steadied himself, trying to catch his breath as he prepared for the next round. The crowd was on the edge of their seats, their excitement palpable.

"You've surprised me so far, but let's see how you handle this!" King Youm roared, using his skill "king's dominance," his voice reverberating through the arena. He charged forward, his massive frame moving with surprising speed. Keith's heart raced as he braced himself for the impact.

Keith's instincts kicked in as he prepared to dodge the incoming onslaught. He could feel the ground tremble beneath King Youm's feet, the sheer force of the king's charge sending a ripple of fear through the crowd. This was no ordinary attack; it was a display of raw power that could easily crush him if he wasn't careful.

"Now or never!" Kieth shouted, channeling every ounce of energy he had left. He activated his exosuit's agility boost, enhancing his reflexes just in time to sidestep the king's charge. King Youm barreled past him, his momentum carrying him forward, but Kieth quickly pivoted and aimed his shotgun at the king's back.

"Dragon's breath bullets!" Kieth yelled, pulling the trigger as a stream of fiery projectiles erupted from the barrel. The bullets struck King Youm, igniting his armor in a blaze of flames. The crowd gasped, a mix of awe and horror washing over them as they witnessed the legendary gladiator engulfed in fire.

But King Youm was far from finished. With a roar, he turned to face Kieth, the flames licking at his armor but failing to deter him. "You think fire can stop me?!" he bellowed, his voice booming like thunder. "I am the king of the dwarves! I have faced far worse than this!"

Keith's heart raced as he realized he had underestimated the king's resilience. "Okay, time for a change of tactics," he muttered to himself, quickly assessing the situation. He needed to outsmart King Youm, not just overpower him. The king's brute strength was formidable, but Kieth had agility and strategy on his side.

"Let's see how you handle this!" Kieth shouted, summoning a series of explosive traps around the arena. He activated them one by one, creating a maze of danger for King Youm to navigate. The traps detonated with deafening blasts, sending debris flying and creating a chaotic battlefield.

King Youm, however, was undeterred. He charged through the explosions, his armor absorbing the blasts as he barreled toward Kieth. "You think you can hide behind tricks? Face me like a true warrior!" he roared, his eyes blazing with fury.

Kieth's mind raced as he dodged and weaved through the chaos, using his agility to stay one step ahead of the king. "I'm not hiding, Your Majesty! I'm just making it more interesting!" he shouted back, firing his shotgun again, this time aiming for the king's legs to slow him down. Then show me more, Sir Hero! "

The bullets struck true, and King Youm stumbled slightly, but he quickly regained his balance. "You're clever, summoner, but cleverness alone won't save you!" he growled, his voice low and menacing. He lunged forward, swinging a massive fist aimed directly at Kieth.

Kieth barely managed to duck under the punch, feeling the rush of air as the king's fist whistled past him. "That was close!" he gasped, adrenaline pumping through his veins. He needed to find a way to turn the tide in his favor.

"Time for a little distraction," Kieth muttered, summoning a holographic decoy of himself. The decoy stood in place, mimicking Kieth's movements while he slipped away to the side, preparing for his next move.

King Youm, momentarily confused by the sudden appearance of the decoy, hesitated. "What trickery is this?" (Is he really a summoner? I haven't seen one in my whole life! But seeing this king of fighters makes me want to fight more and more.) he growled, swinging at the hologram, only for his fist to pass through it harmlessly. "You think illusions will save you?"

Kieth seized the opportunity, launching himself from the side with a powerful kick aimed at the king's side. "No illusions here, just good old-fashioned strategy!" he shouted, connecting with the king's ribs and sending him staggering.

The crowd erupted into cheers, their excitement reaching a fever pitch as they witnessed Kieth's tenacity. "Go, Kieth! Show him what you've got!" they shouted, their voices echoing through the arena.

King Youm, now visibly frustrated, glared at Kieth. "You're a thorn in my side, summoner! But I will crush you!" he roared, his voice filled with determination. He activated his own skill, "Berserker's Fury," and the air around him crackled with energy.

Kieth's heart raced as he felt the shift in the atmosphere. "This is bad," he muttered, realizing that the king was about to unleash his full power. "I need to end this quickly."

With a surge of determination, Kieth summoned his minigun, the weapon whirring to life as he aimed it at King Youm. "I hope you can handle this, Your Majesty!" he shouted, unleashing a torrent of bullets that rained down on the king.

The arena erupted into chaos as the bullets struck King Youm, the sheer volume of firepower pushing him back. But even as the king staggered, Kieth could see the determination in his eyes. "You think this will stop me?!" King Youm roared, his voice filled with defiance.

Berserker's Fury effects: it increases user defense by 200% and attack by 100%.

Kieth's heart raced as he watched King Youm absorb the onslaught of bullets, the king's armor glinting defiantly in the arena's light. The sheer force of the minigun's firepower was impressive, but it was clear that the legendary gladiator was far from finished. Kieth could see the determination etched on the king's face, a fierce resolve that sent a shiver down his spine.

"Come on, Kieth! You can do this!" he heard Sir Aleric's voice ringing out from the sidelines, a reminder of the support he had behind him. The cheers of the crowd surged like a wave, fueling his adrenaline and pushing him to dig deeper.

"Alright, time to up the ante!" Kieth shouted, his voice steady despite the chaos around him. He quickly switched tactics, summoning a series of explosive grenades and tossing them toward King Youm. The grenades detonated in rapid succession, creating a blinding flash of light and a deafening roar that echoed throughout the arena.

King Youm, momentarily blinded by the explosions, staggered back, but his fury only intensified. "You think you can hide behind your toys?!" he bellowed, his voice booming through the smoke. "I will show you the true meaning of strength! As he said that, someone in the crowd isn't happy to see King Youm getting beaten by a mere summoner.

As the smoke began to clear, Kieth could see the king charging toward him, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity. "This is it!" Kieth thought, his mind racing as he prepared for the inevitable clash. He activated his exosuit's agility boost once more, enhancing his reflexes to their peak.

"Let's see if you can keep up!" Kieth shouted, dashing to the side just as King Youm swung a massive fist in his direction. The punch missed by mere inches but destroyed some parts of the exosuit, and Kieth seized the opportunity to counterattack. He launched himself forward, aiming a powerful kick at the king's knee, hoping to destabilize him. But then all of a sudden he couldn't move, like something was binding his whole body. So King Youm used this opportunity to launch a flurry of attacks at Kieth.

Kieth's heart raced as he felt the sudden weight of an unseen force binding him in place. Panic surged through him, but he fought to maintain his composure. "What the—?!" he gasped, struggling against the invisible restraints that seemed to tighten around him.

King Youm, sensing his advantage, unleashed a flurry of powerful punches, each one aimed with deadly precision. "You thought you could outsmart me, summoner?!" he roared, his voice echoing through the arena as he landed a devastating blow to Kieth's midsection. The impact knocked the wind out of him, and he gasped for breath, his vision blurring momentarily.

Kieth grunted as he felt the force of King Youm's punch reverberate through his body. The crowd gasped collectively, their excitement turning to concern as they witnessed the legendary gladiator unleash his fury. Kieth struggled against the invisible bindings, his mind racing as he tried to figure out a way to break free.

"Come on, Kieth! You can't give up now!" Kariel and Lariel shouted from the sidelines, their voices cutting through the chaos. Kieth could feel the weight of his companions' support, their unwavering belief in him igniting a spark of determination within. "Fuck, the hell, I don't remember he has this kind of skill. "As he said that, another kick was sent to him, and he was able to block it with his remaining exosuit, minimizing the damage to him.

As Kieth realizes there's someone interfering with their battle, he looks around while still blocking King Youm's attacks. And finally, King Youm noticed that he couldn't move freely, so he used his appraisal skill and saw the binding to Keith's body.

"So that's how you'd play, huh? You dare to intervene in the king's duel, huh?! he shouted and turned his gaze and landed on a hooded man from the audience, and the man just smirked. "Well, we have a deal, Sir Youm! And I'm just giving you an assistant to win; I'm just doing my deal of the deal here. Helping you," the hooded man replied with a grin.

King Youm's eyes narrowed, a mix of anger and confusion swirling within them. "You think you can interfere in a duel of honor?!" he bellowed, his voice echoing through the arena. The crowd was in an uproar, their excitement turning to shock as they realized the implications of the hooded man's actions.

"Release him now; I will beat him fair and square," King Youm asked the hooded man.

"What if I don't?" the hooded man smugly replies.

"Then, I'll be the one who's going to kill you!"
