With the battle finally over, Tazuna let out a relieved sigh and smiled at Naruto and the others.
"Since it's over, why don't you all come back to my house and rest?" he suggested.
Before he could even finish his sentence, Kakashi collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
"Oi~ Don't tell me this is because of the Sharingan? Isn't he supposed to be a master of Hatake Kenjutsu? So weak. Dude uses two jutsu and he's already useless," Naruto commented, grinning as he stood behind Kakashi.
"You knew he had a Sharingan?" Sasuke asked, narrowing his eyes. "The Uchiha Clan's Sharingan has never been leaked outside!"
Naruto gave him a look as if he was an idiot. Seriously?
'Danzo is practically wrapped in Sharingan and no one says anything about it. Obito has spares for days. Hell, your clan's eyes are everywhere.' Thought Naruto
Sasuke frowned but didn't respond.
"I heard it was given to him by some Uchiha dude," Naruto continued, shrugging. "If it bothers you so much, go and take it back or something."
Sasuke scoffed. "As if I could right now. I don't have the strength to even move."
Naruto sighed before grabbing Kakashi by the leg and dragging him along the ground.
"Oi! Naruto, you're going to hurt Kakashi-sensei if you do that!" Sakura yelled, running after him.

The Next Day
Kakashi slowly opened his eyes, groaning as he felt the soreness in his body.
"Did I overuse the Sharingan?" he thought.
Tsunami, Tazuna's daughter, walked in and smiled.
"You're awake, sensei."
Kakashi sighed. "Not great. I probably won't be able to move for a week. I don't even know why my head hurts this much just from overusing my eye…"
Tsunami hesitated for a moment before recalling how Naruto had dragged Kakashi all the way back yesterday…
"...You should just rest for now," she said with a forced smile.
Just then, the door opened, and Team 7 walked in.
"Yo! Kakashi-sensei, you're finally up," Naruto greeted with a grin. "You were damn heavy, y'know. Dragging you back was a workout."
"Is that so? Well, thanks, Naruto," Kakashi replied.
Naruto grinned. "You're welcome! Now, lend me that Icha Icha Paradise book you have in your bag."
Kakashi: "…"
"Alright, alright, let's focus," Kakashi quickly changed the subject. "That Mist Anbu from yesterday… something seems off when I think about it now. Naruto, you noticed it too, didn't you?"
"What? No! I have no idea what you're talking about," Naruto denied immediately. "I'm just a dead-last Genin, how would I notice anything?"
Kakashi ignored him and continued.
"If a hunter-nin is supposed to kill a missing-nin, they usually dispose of the body on the spot. But that masked kid took the body away instead. And when Naruto suggested cutting off the head, he looked flustered."
"So…?"
"I'm afraid Zabuza is still alive," Kakashi concluded. "It was probably just a trick to fake his death and escape. We need to prepare in advance."
"Sensei, what can we even do to prepare? You can't even move right now," Sakura pointed out hesitantly. "And the opponent was strong enough to push you to your limit."
"You guys already saved me during that fight, didn't you?" Kakashi replied, attempting to reassure them. "You're growing so fast."
"It was Sasuke who saved you," Naruto muttered.
"Shut up!"

The Encounter in the Forest
Refusing Kakashi's request to train with the others, Naruto wandered into the nearby forest, where he spotted a familiar figure picking herbs.
"Yo! 'Sup?" Naruto greeted with a grin.
The figure turned around—it was Haku. His expression faltered slightly upon recognizing Naruto.
"Uh… hello," Haku greeted politely. But his eyes narrowed slightly in suspicion.
"My name is Monkey D. Luffy, and I'm going to be the King of the Pirates," Naruto declared seriously.
"…Isn't your name Uzumaki Naruto?" Haku asked, confused.
Naruto smirked. "What, can't I introduce myself in different ways? Why are you being so weird about it?"
Before Haku could react, Naruto suddenly vanished.
A moment later, hands appeared from behind and pressed against Haku's chest.
"…"
Realization hit Haku instantly, and he jumped away, looking shaken. Only then did he see Naruto standing behind where he was before.
"Oh god… it's really a guy," Naruto muttered, his voice filled with disappointment. "Damn it, why did I even hope? Should've known better…"
"As expected from Haku, the strongest trap in the ninja world."
"Who the hell are you?" Haku asked warily. Strong…! His speed… I couldn't even see it. He's faster than Kakashi!
Naruto shrugged. "Me? Don't you know? I'm Uzumaki Naruto. Konoha's Genin #102607."
Haku remained silent but didn't lower his guard.
"Relax, I just came to have a chat. Please don't try to kill me," Naruto continued, grinning. "I know your goal. Go back and tell Zabuza that if he really wants to overthrow the Fourth Mizukage, I can help him."
Then, he tossed a small note to Haku.
"Give him that. If he follows the instructions, someone will arrange a meeting."
Without another word, Naruto vanished.
Haku hesitantly opened the note.
It simply read: Rain Shinobi Village.
His brows furrowed in thought as he clutched the note tightly before turning away, herbs in hand.

Back at Tazuna's House
When Naruto returned, he found Kakashi teaching Sasuke the tree-climbing exercise.
Naruto sighed internally. Of course, this guy only trains Sasuke. No wonder his ninjutsu is so damn weak compared to his taijutsu.
"Naruto! Come train with us!" Kakashi called out.
Naruto grinned, walking on water with ease as he approached from the nearby river.
"What are you talking about, Kakashi-sensei?" he asked with a smirk.
Kakashi stared blankly for a moment before sighing.
"…Forget it. Do whatever you want."
