Chapter 86: Encounter
"This is the Pill," Zaku took out a bottle of small blue pills and said to Sasuke. "This pill allows you to forcibly awaken from the Curse Seal Level 1 state to the Curse Seal Level 2 state."
"However, once the Curse Seal Level 2 is activated, the erosion rate of the Curse Seal will increase dramatically. It won't be long before you die," Tayuya explained.

Sasuke took the small pill, thinking involuntarily of Orochimaru, and swallowed it without hesitation.

He pulled out a wooden barrel with a sealing formation from the sealed scroll on his back and placed Sasuke inside. The four of them quickly activated: "Four Black Mist Formation!" and sealed Sasuke inside. Zaku then took out several sealing tags and placed them on the barrel: "Seal!"
"Yossh, it's finally time to end this. Let's go!" The four of Oto-nin started moving toward Otogakure with the wooden barrels on their backs.
Suddenly, they stopped and looked around.
"One!" Kidomaru said.
"No! It's two!" Tayuya exclaimed suddenly.
"Damn it, not now," Zaku grumbled angrily.
Swish! Two green figures appeared in front of the Oto-nin quartet.
It was none other than two Konoha Jonin—Shiranui Genma and his companion, Raiga.
"You're from Orochimaru..." Raiga said, glaring at the four of them.
"Judging by the direction, you came from Konoha," Shiranui Genma added. "And what's in that barrel?"
"Hmph, two Jonin!" The Curse Seals on the four Oto-nin instantly spread over their bodies.
"Do all four of them have Curse Seals?" Shiranui Genma wondered aloud.
Suddenly, Zaku threw a kunai and rushed toward Shiranui Genma, while also throwing a shuriken with his other hand.
Shiranui Genma immediately spat out his toothpick, deflecting the shuriken with his kunai, before throwing a Senbon: "Ninja Art: Thousand Rain!"
In an instant, thousands of senbon flew through the air, raining down on the four Oto-nin.
"Earth Style: Earth Shore Return!" Jirobo slammed his hand into the ground, causing a massive stone slab to rise and block the attack. The thousands of senbon stuck into the stone like quills.
On the other side, the two Oto-nin simultaneously formed hand seals: "Fire Style: Fire Dragon Flame Bomb!"
A massive fireball shot out and collided with the stone wall, blowing it apart.
Genma instantly appeared beside them, kicking Tayuya and Sakon away in an instant!
He followed through with a kick, knocking Kidomaru's kunai out of his hand, then landed a powerful blow that sent Jirobo flying with a single kick to his arm.
"Damn it, it's too difficult to deal with two Jonin just in Curse Seal Form," Kidomaru muttered. "Secret Technique: Spider Binding Technique!" A huge spider web shot out toward Shiranui Genma.
"Fire Style : Fire Ball!" Genma unleashed a fireball, burning the web to ashes.
Tayuya took out her flute and placed it to her mouth: "Demonic Flute: Dream Sound Lock!"
Shiranui Genma and Raiga were instantly pulled into an illusion.
"Hmph, small tricks! Solution!" The two of them quickly formed hand seals and reversed their chakra to break the illusion.
Jirobo then lifted a massive earth ball and hurled it toward them: "Earth Style: Stone Coffin!"
The two Jonin jumped out of the way just in time, but at that moment, Zaku surged forward and attacked with a powerful double fist strike: "Dual Fist!"
Suddenly, Raiga's foot was struck hard by Zaku , as the two of them synchronized their punches.
Shiranui Genma quickly moved in to help, kicking Zaku and Kidomaru away, standing back to back with Raiga.
"Damn it, these guys don't even use ninjutsu!" Genma said.
"However, their physical skills and chakra control are still far from Jōnin level. If we wait a little longer, we should be able to defeat them," Raiga calmly analyzed.
At this moment, the Curse Seals on the four Oto-nin began to completely cover their bodies: "As expected, the Curse Seal Level 2 isn't enough to face two elite Jonin."
A few moments later, four monstrous figures emerged in front of them.
"What?!" Shiranui Genma exclaimed in shock.
Just then, Shizune and Ibiki arrived on the battlefield, only to find that Shiranui Genma and Raiga were both severely injured and near death.
"Damn it, Genma! Raiga!" Shizune rushed over to check their conditions. "Not good!" She quickly began using medical ninjutsu to save the two.
"I didn't expect them to be killed," Ibiki said solemnly. "I'm going after them!"
"Wait! Ibiki, those guys' skills have surpassed the category of normal ninjas. You'll die if you chase them alone!" Genma said with difficulty.
Meanwhile, Naruto and his group had already noticed the battle from afar.
Inuzuka Kiba said, "The four people with Sasuke's chakra are fighting two of them. If we stop to gather information, we might lose Sasuke!"
"Let's keep moving!" Naruto's voice rang out from the front.
"You idiot! The team leader is Shikamaru, a Chūnin," Choji grumbled.
"Shut up, Choji!" Shikamaru shot Naruto a meaningful look, "Let's move!"
The group hurried after the four Oto-nin.
"Be careful!" Shikamaru suddenly shouted, stopping everyone in their tracks. "Be careful above!"
Everyone froze and looked up.
"Explosive tags?" Neji commented, rolling his eyes. "And there are five other locations. A seal trap?"
"...That's right, a trap ninjutsu that triggers chain explosions once we get too close!" Shikamaru explained. "Looks like we have to take a detour."
"Out of the way!" Naruto suddenly shouted from behind, and everyone stepped aside.
"Wind Style: RasenShuriken!" Naruto raised his hand high, and a giant Rasengan spinning with high-speed wind chakra formed.
"What the hell?!" Everyone gasped, stunned.
The wind pressure from the Rasengan blew their clothes and hair in all directions.
"Impossible! This is a change in chakra nature, and he's achieved this just one year after graduating from the academy?!" Shikamaru thought to himself in disbelief.
"Let's go!" Naruto flung the Rasengan forward, clearing a path as if it was nothing.
Everyone followed quickly, keeping up with the four Oto-nin.
Up ahead, the four Oto-nin were panting heavily, sitting on the ground to rest.
"Damn it, we don't have time to rest!" Zaku cursed.
"There's no choice! The Curse Seal of Heaven is too exhausting," Tayuya retorted.
"And moving too much is troublesome," Jirobo mumbled.
"Stop talking, hurry up and rest. After all, we're dealing with two Jonin-level opponents," Kidomaru said. "If we don't go all out, we'll be killed."
The four of them closed their eyes to rest quickly.
Suddenly, Kidomaru moved his fingers and opened his eyes wide.
Zaku suddenly threw several kunai toward the back. Shikamaru and Neji, who were hiding in the bushes, quickly dodged, but the kunai were followed by exploding tags!
"No, retreat!" Shikamaru yelled.
With a huge explosion, Shikamaru and Neji were blown back, landing right in front of the four Oto-nin!
