Chapter 118: A Rarely Serious Chapter

Numerous spectral arms clenched their fists, roaring toward Madara, striking against the massive Susanoo!

"Impossible!" Madara's eyes widened as he saw the cracks forming in his Susanoo at a speed visible to the naked eye, spreading rapidly across its form.

CRACK—!

With a deafening shatter, the colossus of chakra was obliterated by the relentless barrage. Fists rained down on Madara, each strike shaking the battlefield.

The few surviving Iwa shinobi could only stare in horror as the ground trembled beneath them. The sky cracked with violent roars, forcing them to flee like madmen. "Konoha… this isn't a village—it's a nightmare! No one can stand against this!"

Madara, blood dripping from his lips, gasped for air. "No… I, Madara, will not die to some nameless warrior!"

His body aged rapidly, his connection to the God Tree severed, his lifeforce draining away. His hands trembled as he spat blood. The monstrous fist loomed closer.

"Is this… the end?"

Staggering to his feet, he lifted his head high. "Fine then… I, Madara Uchiha, acknowledge you as the strongest!"

His eyes gleamed with defiance as he braced for the final blow.

Yet, at the last moment, the massive attack collapsed into nothingness.

The vibrant glow of Susanoo flickered, fading into oblivion, and the enormous Senju guardian crumbled apart.

Naruto, both eyes blinded, coughed up blood as his body fell, powerless.

Madara, stunned for a moment, suddenly erupted into wild laughter. "Ha! In the end… I still stand! Only those who live can dream of victory!"

Just as he prepared to end Naruto for good, a golden streak of light flashed past.

In an instant, the Fourth Hokage was there, catching Naruto mid-air.

A figure materialized beside Madara—Zetsu. "Lord Madara, we need to retreat. That technique has consumed your lifeforce. We have no other options."

Madara scowled, glancing at the unconscious Naruto, then turned away. "Tch. This isn't over."

As the earth swallowed them, they vanished into the depths.

Minato surveyed the battlefield, unable to comprehend what kind of fight had taken place. The devastation was beyond belief.

"Naruto!" Minato rushed to his side, his son's eyes dull, lifeless. His breath so faint, it threatened to vanish with the wind.

"Sensei!" Kakashi's voice rang out. Minato turned to see him kneeling beside a half-buried, bloodied Obito.

Obito coughed weakly. "I… I can't go on…" His voice was barely above a whisper. "Kakashi… take my eye. Let it complete your technique…"

Kakashi hesitated. "I—I'm not blind, Obito. I don't need—"

Obito mustered his last bit of strength to raise a trembling middle finger at Kakashi before slipping into unconsciousness.

Minato sighed. "Your Chidori… it's too fast. Without the right eyes, you can't track enemy movements. This gift… take it."

Kakashi was silent.

With great care, they transplanted Obito's eye. The moment it settled in Kakashi's socket, the earth beneath them trembled.

The giant trees, once supported by Naruto's chakra, withered. A meteorite, once held in suspension, began its descent.

Minato's eyes widened. "No! Everyone, move!"

Scooping Naruto into his arms, he grabbed Kakashi and Rin. "Flying Thunder God: Second Stage!"

With a flash, they vanished just as the meteorite crashed into the ground, obliterating everything beneath it.

Konoha Hospital

All the village's top brass gathered.

"You mean to tell us you didn't see who Naruto was fighting?"

Minato frowned. "When I arrived, the battle was already over. I saw no one, only the destruction left behind. Whoever it was… they pushed him to the brink."

The room fell silent. Their gazes drifted toward Naruto, battered and broken. Who could have pushed him so far?

Tsunade's hands trembled as she worked tirelessly to heal him. "Damn it! No… I refuse!" A golden aura wrapped around Naruto, barely keeping him tethered to life.

In the back, Sarutobi and Danzo exchanged glances, a flicker of something unreadable passing between them.

Sarutobi cleared his throat. "The war isn't over. We need to discuss Iwa's surrender and the attack from Naga Village."

Jiraiya's fist clenched. "Are you seriously thinking about politics right now?!"

With a sudden strike, a golden staff smashed into his ribs. Sarutobi, unwavering, stood tall. "Who has objections?"

Tsunade pointed at him. A flash of chakra steel sliced through the air, carving a deep wound in Sarutobi's shoulder.

For a moment, he looked dazed, unaware of how he'd been struck.

Tsunade's voice trembled with rage. "Get out."

Silence. Then, one by one, they left the room.

Danzo lingered. "Send a team to monitor Naruto."

A shadow flickered. "Understood."

Danzo's lone eye gleamed. If I can acquire that power…

Outside, rain poured heavily. Power in Konoha shifted once again.

Iwa's leader, Ohnoki, had surrendered, offering nothing but troop withdrawal.

Danzo slammed the table. "This is foolish! We should push into the Land of Earth and claim victory! The fallen deserve justice!"

Sarutobi scoffed. "I am Hokage. My decision is final."

Danzo's fists clenched. "Tch." Without another word, he stormed out.

"My lord," a Root operative whispered.

"Prepare a force. Ohnoki will not withdraw peacefully."

Back in the hospital, the Sannin stood around Naruto's unconscious form.

Orochimaru folded his arms. "He drained too much of his lifeforce. Unlike Hashirama, he lacks the necessary body to sustain this level of Wood Release."

Tsunade gripped Naruto's hand. "Damn it…"

Tsunade couldn't stop crying.

Naruto stroked Tsunade's face with his hands, and stared blankly at the front: "Don't cry, don't worry, I will definitely come back again.

Tsunade shook his head violently, finally stopped in despair, and asked softly, "When will you be back?"

"Hey, Tsunade-chan, when you are about to become Hokage, I will appear in front of you. After all, I am the man who aspires to be Hokage!" Naruto said, "Although it may be different from me now, but I Think you'll recognize me when I show up, Tsunade-chan."

After speaking, a finger was placed on Tsunade's forehead.

"!"

"Such a beautiful girl, you must know how to be reserved in the future!"

Then Naruto's hand slowly slipped down.

Tsunade burst into tears in an instant, and kurenai also shed tears...

Jiraiya was silent, clenching her fists tightly.

Jiraiya slammed the wall.

Orochimaru's eyes gleamed. "There may be a way to replicate a Sage Body. I may need to speak with Danzo."

Jiraiya tensed. "Orochimaru…"

Orochimaru smirked. "If we meet again, Jiraiya, we may be enemies."

With that, he walked away.

Naruto's body suddenly glowed with soft light.

Tsunade gasped, gripping his hand tighter. "No… don't—"

His body faded, vanishing into nothing.

The next morning, Tsunade, clad in her usual robes, knocked on a door.

"Your uncle wanted me to look after you. Pack up. We're going to find someone."

And with that, the Legendary Sannin left Konoha.

As if Naruto had never existed.

Somewhere far away, a red-haired woman cradled a newborn. "What shall we name him?"

Minato smiled. "Uzumaki Naruto."

She beamed. "A wonderful name."

In the shadows of Rain Village, Yahiko lowered his head. "Our teacher… is dead. His dream was a lie."

Konan wept.

Nagato's fists clenched.

From the darkness, a masked man stepped forward, holding a small vial.

"Do you seek power?"
