Flames of Insanity

The battlefield burned.

Blue and black flames twisted through the ruins, their glow reflecting off the crumbling remains of a once-great city. The moon, shattered and fractured above, cast a ghostly light over the destruction below.

Saber and Alter stood amidst the wreckage.

Both warriors were wounded.

Both warriors refused to yield.

Black Rock Shooter.

A warrior forged in battle, her azure eye glowing like a guiding star.

Insane Black Rock Shooter.

A monster of destruction, her single black eye ablaze with madness.

Their flames clashed again.

---

Alter lunged.

Her black hair whipped behind her, her jagged greatsword slamming down with the force of a collapsing building. Saber dodged, twisting her body midair, but Alter was faster.

SLASH!

A streak of black fire trailed behind her blade, carving through stone and steel as Saber barely escaped the attack.

Alter didn't stop.

She was a force of nature. A relentless storm of chaos.

With terrifying speed, she spun—her Black Cannon shifting shape mid-movement. A massive, drill-like barrel formed at its tip, crackling with unrestrained energy.

Saber's eyes widened.

"Tch—!"

BOOM!

A blast of pure insanity erupted from Alter's cannon. A black-and-purple shockwave exploded outward, tearing apart everything in its path.

Saber braced herself.

CRASH!

The impact sent her skidding backward, her boots carving trenches into the concrete as she struggled to hold her ground. Dust and debris clouded the air.

Alter emerged from the smoke.

She moved like a shadow—silent, unstoppable, merciless.

Her blade flashed—Saber barely managed to parry, the force of the strike vibrating through her entire body.

Alter's grin widened.

"Why do you still stand?" Her voice was a whisper filled with mockery. "You are weaker. Slower. Breaking apart."

Saber's eye burned brighter.

She forced Alter back with a powerful horizontal slash, her Rock Cannon humming with energy.

"And yet," Saber muttered, voice steady, "you haven't won."

Alter snarled.

---

Alter twisted her weapon, slamming its jagged edge into the ground. Black flames erupted, forming a massive shockwave that tore through the battlefield.

Saber charged forward.

Blue and black clashed once more—a dance of madness and discipline.

Every strike was deadly. Every movement was sharpened by instinct.

Saber's blade whistled through the air, aimed at Alter's midsection—only for Alter to dodge at the last second, twisting unnaturally before retaliating with a devastating backhand slash.

Saber blocked, but the impact sent her flying.

She crashed through a building.

Concrete collapsed around her as she forced herself to stand. She couldn't afford to stop.

Alter was already above her.

Her greatsword descended.

"PERISH!"

Saber's eye flashed.

She moved.

Not dodging—but charging straight at Alter.

Their weapons met in an explosion of flame and force.

For the first time—Alter staggered.

Saber pressed forward.

---

Alter gritted her teeth, leaping backward. She was enjoying this fight—but she was also growing frustrated.

Her madness-driven attacks should have overwhelmed Saber by now.

But Saber was adapting.

The black-haired warrior narrowed her glowing eye. Unacceptable.

She raised her greatsword—madness surged through her body.

Her entire form pulsed with unstable energy.

Saber exhaled slowly.

She shifted her stance—her Rock Cannon humming, the blue flame around her intensifying.

Both warriors knew.

The next clash would decide who held the advantage.

A storm of blue and black erupted—

And the city shook beneath their battle.
