When Gods and Monsters Collide

The alliance was uneasy, but it was necessary.

Saber, Alter, Lancer, Archer, Berserker—each a warrior of immense skill and legend, yet all stood against something that defied the very foundation of their existence.

Foreigner loomed before them, her presence bending reality, an abyssal enigma that should not be. The monolith behind her had fully emerged, standing as a monument to her presence in this world. It pulsed with an eerie, slow rhythm, like the heartbeat of something unknowable.

Lucian wiped the sweat from his brow, his breath shaky. "I don't think we can fight this thing like a normal Servant."

No one disagreed.

---

The moment the alliance was formed, it was time to act.

Alter was the first to move—again.

Her body burned with black and blue flames, her blade singing as it cleaved through the air. "I'll crack that skull of yours, monster!" she howled, lunging forward at insane speeds.

At the same time, Lancer moved. Her greatsword glowed red with raw energy, her movements precise and lethal. She vanished in a burst of speed, appearing alongside Alter to strike in perfect sync.

But Foreigner did not react.

Not with panic. Not with fear.

She simply raised her hand.

A wave of abyssal energy rippled outward, twisting the battlefield into something unnatural.

Alter and Lancer's blades connected—but met nothing.

Their attacks phased through Foreigner.

Like she wasn't even there.

"Damn it—!" Alter barely had time to react before a sudden, impossible force crushed against her body. She was sent flying again, smashing through the remains of a ruined building.

Lancer, on the other hand, adjusted mid-air. She landed on her feet, skidding backward as she narrowed her eyes. "This thing bends reality itself… how do we even hurt it?"

"We change our approach."

Saber stepped forward, her sword radiating raw power.

---

Saber took a deep breath. "Our weapons cannot strike her directly. That means we need to aim for something else."

Lucian blinked. "What else is there?"

"The monolith."

They all turned to look at the massive, shifting structure standing behind Foreigner. It pulsed in sync with her presence—like an extension of herself.

Archer, ever perceptive, narrowed her eyes. "You think that thing is what anchors her here?"

Saber nodded. "If we destroy it, we may be able to weaken her."

"Then let's quit wasting time," Berserker growled, already surging forward.

---

Berserker moved first.

Her raw strength was unlike any other Servant. The ground shattered beneath her as she launched forward, her fists blazing with destructive energy.

She didn't aim for Foreigner.

She aimed for the monolith.

Her first punch landed—and for the first time, the monolith reacted.

The air trembled as cracks spread across its surface.

Foreigner turned her head slightly, as if mildly interested. "...Ah."

Then—

She moved.

Faster than any of them could process, Foreigner closed the distance between herself and Berserker in an instant. She didn't strike with a weapon.

She simply touched her.

A wave of pure insanity surged through Berserker's body.

For the first time—she screamed.

The unstoppable warrior staggered, her eyes wide, her body convulsing.

Her form began to twist, as if her very existence was being rewritten into something wrong.

Lucian shouted, "Berserker—!"

"Move."

Archer raised her bow, an arrow already drawn.

She loosed it without hesitation—not at Foreigner, but at Berserker herself.

The arrow pierced Berserker's leg, disrupting whatever madness was taking hold of her. The force of the impact sent her crashing away from Foreigner, breaking the connection.

Berserker landed hard, panting. Her body trembled, but her mind was her own again.

Archer lowered her bow. "We can't afford any more mistakes."

Saber nodded. "Then let's end this."

---

Lancer took the lead, dashing toward the monolith, her sword igniting with a crimson glow. "I'll destroy the core!"

Alter, still bruised but grinning, sprinted beside her. "Not without me, you won't!"

Saber and Berserker charged from the other side, forcing Foreigner to divide her focus.

Archer stayed behind, providing covering fire.

Lucian watched as the battle unfolded. It was unlike anything he had ever seen—Servants fighting against something beyond human comprehension, against a force that didn't belong in this world.

The battlefield was chaos.

Blades clashed against abyssal energy. Arrows pierced through the unnatural air. The monolith shook as Lancer and Alter struck it repeatedly, forcing more cracks to spread.

Then—

A scream.

Foreigner, for the first time, reacted.

Her form twisted, her face contorting with something alien.

She hated this.

She hated being understood.

She hated being vulnerable.

And so—she unleashed her Noble Phantasm.

The sky shattered.

Reality itself split open, revealing an infinite abyss beyond comprehension. Tentacles of darkness erupted from the void, grasping at everything around them.

A single voice, deep and unknowable, echoed across the battlefield.

"I AM THE ETERNAL WHISPER. I AM THE MADNESS BETWEEN STARS. I AM FOREVER."

---

Lucian's Command Seals flared.

Desperation.

The battle had reached its peak.

They had one chance to strike her down before she consumed everything.

Saber turned to her allies. "This is it. All or nothing."

Lancer wiped blood from her mouth, grinning. "Hah. Let's make it count."

Alter spun her sword in her hands, black flames burning brighter than ever. "I've been waiting for a real fight."

Archer knocked three arrows at once. "We take her down now, or not at all."

Berserker slammed her fists together. "THEN LET'S BREAK HER."

And with that—

They charged.

Toward the abyss.

Toward the unknowable.

Toward the final battle.
