A New Day, A New Fortune

The familiar pull of reality set in as I opened my eyes, the soft glow of my PC monitor replacing the digital landscapes of TWO. The hum of my ceiling fan, the distant noise of the city outside—it was almost jarring how quickly I switched between worlds.

Stretching, I rubbed my eyes and sat up. Last night had been a success. Two quests completed, a Corrupted Rat Fang in my inventory, and most importantly—the auction sale had finally gone through.

I pulled up my PC and checked the auction logs.

Mysterious Gem – Sold for 950 MC

Withdrawal Pending: 9,500 Credits

A grin crept onto my face. "I love this game."

I reached for my phone, opening my banking app, and sure enough—

[New Transaction: 9,500 Credits Deposited]

My grin widened. I just made nearly ten thousand credits from a game.

Game Currency & Real Money: How It Works

Unlike other MMORPGs, Beta Version TWO had an advanced economy system that allowed players to convert certain in-game earnings into real money.

First, Credit Points (CP) – In-Game Currency

Earned from quests, defeating monsters, and selling items to NPCs.

Used for buying in-game items like weapons, potions, and equipment.

Cannot be converted into real money.

Second, Market Credits (MC) – Tradeable Currency

Earned only by selling items in the auction house to other players.

Can be converted to CP (to keep the money in-game) or withdrawn as real-world currency.

1 MC = 10 Credits (real money).

In simple terms, you can't get rich just by doing quests, but if you find valuable loot and sell it to other players, that's where the real money is.

And thanks to my auction sale, I had 9,500 real-world credits sitting in my bank account.

"Time to put this to good use."

A Normal Day, But With Money

Instead of jumping right back into the game, I decided to enjoy my earnings for a bit.

I got up, shuffled to the bathroom, and brushed my teeth, taking my time as I let the excitement settle. A long, hot shower followed—something I definitely needed after spending hours in the game.

After getting dressed, I grabbed my phone and checked the time. Perfect. Time for a little shopping spree.

First Stop: Electronics Store

My first priority? A proper gaming chair.

My old one was falling apart, the cushion flat from years of use. I walked into the electronics store, scanning the lineup of chairs before settling on a sleek, black-and-red ergonomic model with memory foam padding.

Clerk: "That's one of our best models. Great for long gaming sessions."

Me: "Perfect. I'll take it."

1,200 Credits spent. Worth it.

Next Stop: Clothes

With money in hand, I figured I might as well upgrade my wardrobe. Most of my shirts were either old gaming merch or hoodies I'd had for years.

I browsed through a few stores, picking up some casual shirts, new jeans, and even a jacket. Nothing too fancy, but enough to feel like I had my life together.

Total spent: 2,300 Credits.

Final Stop: Café & Reflection

After finishing my shopping, I stopped by a quiet café, ordering a coffee and sitting by the window. The real world felt… different now.

A few days ago, I was just another broke gamer, grinding for CP like everyone else. Now? I was earning real money just by playing smart.

And this was just the beginning.

I sipped my coffee, staring at my phone screen.

"Alright," I muttered, cracking my knuckles. "Time to get back to work."

I finished my drink, paid the bill, and headed home. It was time to log back in and see what awaited me next.
