The massive golden Slime King wobbled menacingly before me, its huge HP bar gleaming in the air.

The Slime King launched itself into the air, casting a shadow over me before dropping down with a deafening—

The ground shook, sending a shockwave that knocked over some nearby trees.

I barely dodged in time.

I rolled to the side and nocked an arrow, activating Precision Shot.

> Twang!

The arrow pierced straight through the Slime King's gelatinous body, exploding out the back.

-750 HP!

The king shuddered, shrieking in a deep, guttural tone.

It wasn't dead yet, but I saw a chunk of its HP bar disappear.

"Good," I smirked. "Let's keep this up."

The Slime King rumbled angrily, its golden body pulsating.

Then—

—dozens of smaller slimes poured out from its body, forming a squishy army.

"Figures," I sighed.

But I was already prepared.

My Elderwood Bow glowed, and a rain of arrows shot down, impaling everything in range.

The smaller slimes exploded like water balloons, their goo splattering across the battlefield.

The Slime King, now alone again, wobbled weakly.

"Time to finish this," I grinned.

I pulled back the bowstring, pouring everything into this last shot.

The arrow ripped through the Slime King's core, splitting it in half like a fruit.

I grinned, holding the license up proudly.

"Alright, time to start my journey!"

I stepped outside, ready to head toward the next major city—

But then I stopped.

"...Wait a second."

I turned back toward Greenwood Fields, where the slimes had already respawned.

I stared at them.

Then I stared at my legendary bow.

Then I stared at my new class.

"...I think I'll farm these slimes a bit more."

I cracked my knuckles and pulled out my bow.
