Chapter 21 – The Battle Against the Orc King

The Orc King's Arrival – A Titan of Strength

The ground trembled.

A presence of sheer dominance and power emerged from the depths of the orc stronghold.

The Orc King stepped forward.

He was massive—easily twice the size of any orc they had encountered before. His muscles bulged with raw power, his skin was a deep crimson, and his golden eyes gleamed with bloodlust.

A giant battle-axe, large enough to split a boulder in half, rested in his grasp. Despite its size, the weapon moved effortlessly in his hands.

The air itself seemed heavier in his presence. His sheer aura felt like a crushing force, pressing down on everyone.

Reyon clenched his fists.

He had faced strong enemies before, but this—this was on a different level.

Sylph and the rest of the squad tensed, their gazes shifting between the Orc King and his two Orc Generals, who still stood, wounded but ready to fight.

Reyon's Reckless Decision

Reyon took a deep breath.

"I'll handle the Orc King. You guys take down the generals."

Sylph's eyes widened. "Are you insane?! That thing is too strong! We should fight together—"

"There's no time for discussion."** His voice was calm but firm.** "If we don't deal with the generals first, we'll be overwhelmed."

Sylph hesitated, but seeing the determination in his eyes, she knew there was no point arguing.

"Fine… but don't die, idiot."

She turned to the others. "Let's go! Kill the generals before that monster gets serious!"

With that, the squad rushed forward—leaving Reyon to face the unstoppable force that was the Orc King.

The First Clash – A Battle of Power

Reyon didn't hesitate.

He raised his hand, gathering mana.

Wind Blade.

A 3rd Circle spell, but through σ (Sigma) strengthening, it was enhanced to the level of a 6th Circle spell.

A blade of pure wind—razor-sharp, fast, and deadly—rushed toward the Orc King.

SHIIING!

The wind blade sliced through the air, striking the Orc King's chest.

But—

It barely left a scratch.

Reyon's eyes widened.

What…? Even a 6th Circle attack didn't break his skin?!

The Orc King grunted, unimpressed.

Then, he swung his battle-axe.

SWOOSH—BOOM!

Reyon barely dodged.

But the aftershock alone sent him flying backward, crashing into a stone pillar.

Crack!

The force made his bones scream in pain. Cold sweat dripped down his forehead.

One direct hit… and I'll be torn apart.

He gritted his teeth.

"I have no choice… I'll have to use it."

The power of £.

Sylph's Squad vs. The Orc Generals – A Desperate Struggle

While Reyon faced the Orc King, Sylph and the others were locked in a brutal fight against the Orc Generals.

Each Orc General was as strong as a 6th Circle magician, and even though they were already injured, they still fought like monsters.

CLANG!

Sylph barely dodged a massive club that smashed into the ground, sending rocks flying.

She retaliated with Light Arrows, piercing into the general's thick skin, but the wounds closed quickly, and he charged again.

Kain, their archer, fired multiple enhanced mana arrows, but the second general deflected them all with his greatsword, lunging at him with frightening speed.

"Shit!" Kain barely managed to avoid being cut in half.

The battle was desperate.

They had the advantage of numbers, but the Orc Generals had sheer durability and strength.

Sylph wiped blood from her lips.

"We need to finish this now!"

Pooling all her mana, she cast a blinding light explosion, stunning one of the generals for a split second.

That was all they needed.

Taking the chance, Kain fired a mana-infused arrow straight through the orc's skull, piercing it completely.

THUD!

One down.

But the other general went berserk, roaring with rage.

CRACK!

He grabbed Sylph by the neck and slammed her into the ground, cracking the stone beneath her.

Her vision blurred.

Is this… it?

Then—

SHIIING!

A blade of pure mana pierced through the general's heart.

Another teammate had landed the final blow.

THUD!

The second general fell.

But Sylph and the others were badly injured.

They had won—

But they couldn't help Reyon anymore.

Reyon's Trump Card – Stacking Sigma

Reyon clenched his fists.

He had one chance.

Stacking σ (Sigma) once more through £, his spells reached the power of a 7th Circle magician.

"Earth Spike!"

A massive spike of stone erupted from the ground, aiming straight for the Orc King's right hand.

Even with his monstrous reflexes, the Orc King couldn't fully dodge.

The spike pierced his wrist, forcing him to drop his axe.

A chance!

But—

The Orc King countered without even looking back.

He slammed his shoulder into Reyon with brutal force.

BOOM!

Reyon was sent flying, crashing through ten huts in a row before finally stopping.

CRACK!

His ribs felt like they had been shattered.

Cough!

Blood spilled from his mouth.

If not for his stacked defensive spell, he would have died instantly.

But the Orc King wasn't stopping.

The beast charged again, ready to end it.

The Final Strike – Pushing to the Absolute Limit

Reyon had no choice.

He had to use everything.

His mind screamed in pain as he stacked σ (Sigma) three times—pushing beyond what should be humanly possible.

The strain was unbearable.

If not for the Ring of Ferica, his brain would have exploded from the overload.

But he endured.

And he cast his strongest spell yet.

"Lightning Slash!"

A blade of pure lightning formed in his hands—its power rivaling a peak 7th Circle spell.

The Orc King charged, roaring in defiance.

Reyon swung the blade.

BOOM!

A blinding flash split the battlefield apart.

For a moment, there was silence.

Then—

The Orc King's body split in half.

A moment later, the giant collapsed, shaking the ground as his corpse hit the dirt.

After that reyon collapsed his squad carried him to the camp.

Two weeks later Reyon woke every part of his body screaming in pain
