4. A familiar face

Ryu stared at her then chuckled in disbelief. "I can't still say where all the food you eat goes too." He said and then suddenly thought her large appetite amounted from not being fed well at the orphanage, he felt pity for her.

"Fine, a restaurant is up ahead, let's go"

The store was busy as always, and many people were walking along the road. Arya struggled to keep up with Ryu,till a soft breeze blew the hat she was wearing off her head and backwards so she chased after it so it won't get trampled upon . It finally landed on the ground and as she was about to pick it up, another person had similar intention and both their hands met. Arya jolted her hands back immediately as she looked up at the person, her eyes widened in bewilderment.

"Eli! w-what are you doing here?"

Eli was equally surprised to see her. "I live around here silly, I should be asking you that." He said with the sweetest smile. He dusted her hat and put it back on her head.

"Am so-so glad I met you" she said and gave him a hug, he hugged her back and gently pulled away , when she wouldn't let go first.

"Why are you here, and all alone?" Eli asked looking around, he arched his brow in confusion when he didn't see anyone with her.

"I came to get some clothes, and am not all alone, Ryu came with me."

"Who's Ryu?"

"My partner at the academy, come along I will take you to where he is." She said and draughted him forward, already seeing the restaurant sign in the direction Ryu was heading to.

Ryu reached the restaurant and turned around to ask Arya what she will like to eat, but he couldn't find her. He let his eyes roam about a little and finally

spotted her but she wasn't alone. By her side was a tall brunette guy, he had a physique like his and has a captivating ocean blue eyes. He was handsome, that he wouldn't deny, but not as handsome as he was. He adjusted his clothes and walked up to them.

"Ryu this is Elijah, he's my best friend from the orphanage but was adopted many years ago.... Elijah meet Ryu my senior, partner and new friend". Arya quickly introduced immediately Ryu got to them.

Elijah suddenly recognize the handsome face and he bowed slightly in order not to draw attention.

" Your majesty"he said with an insincere smirk, making the greeting look like mockery.

Ryu tilted his head as he tried to recall the familiar face. That's it he was the adopted son of the duke Christon who was the owner of many estate in the kingom and he came with the duke on his father, the king birthday.

"Nice to meet you".

You guys already know each other?, That's nice" Arya exclaimed excited.

" Ok enough of the introduction Ary , we have shopping to do"Ryu said

" It's Arya" Arya corrected

" Same thing same, hey Elijah care to join us? "

" Sure"Elijah said and they all sat down.

Ryu immediately took the menu ontop the table and read it

" Hmm Sophie, will you prefer, mango or pineapple drink? "

Before she could answer Elijah spoke up. " Hmm, she actually can't take anything pineapple, she reacts to it"

" Oh, she's allergic to it? "Ryu asked not noticing Sophia bow her head in embarrassment.

" Something like that "

Ryu raised a questioning brow

" I don't still get"

" I think we will all have burger and an orange drink, hmm…. Riri please go place the order "Elijah said. Arya nodded, took the menu and then left.

Sure that Arya was out of sight, Elijah whispered something into Ryu's ear and Ryu coughed slightly, his ears turning pink.

"Yeah, is true, the last time she ate it she tried to make me kiss her. Not that I mind now anyways" Elijah said his statement ending with a naughty smirk.

Ryu stared at Arya who was now strolling towards them with a waiter behind her, who held a tray in his hand.

"Oh and she eats a lot" Elijah warned

Ryu chuckled slightly "already know that, and I think it's cute.".

"The meal is here" she announced with a smile on her face and sat down. The waiter put the tray on the table and immediately walked away.

Ryu stared at Arya lips with a smile, "it will be nice to feed her pineapple someday " he thought, and immediately cursed his self for his naughty thoughts.

Ryu immediately noticed Arya bought a burger for herself.

" Why one?, I thought you were hungry?

"I was but I don't think I have the appetite anymore" she explained

Elijah immediately knew why.

"Come on tell me why you are afraid" he said.

Ryu looked shocked but he hid it, how did Elijah know she was afraid.

" We are having a ball today at the academy, and I suck at dancing. "She said

" Skylar Academy? "Elijah asked and she nodded.

" Woah, I go there too, this is fate, Arya and don't worry everything is going to turn out right "he assured.

Ryu rolled his eyes at Elijah, the way his eyes lit up any time he said Arya made him have hunches that he(Elijah) likes Sophia. He was to make her fall for him and no one else or he will lose this round, seems like he has a competition now.

" Come on Sophie eat up" Ryu said and gave her his own burger and Elijah did the same.

Arya looked up, tilting her head in confusion she cutely and blinked at them before she continued eating.
