Second Day : 2

(Fluo.)

"Fluo, there you are !"

Ley's gaze darts to Flower, the smile fading into a tense mask.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to hang out with your friends ?"

She says to Flower, before leaning closer to me, her hand landing possessively on my shoulder.

"I was looking for you."

I shift uncomfortably, caught between the warmth of Flower's company and Ley's looming shadow.

"I just… needed a break,"

I stammer, searching for words to protect the fragile moment I had shared with my darling.

Ley's eyes narrows slightly, her jealousy palpable.

"You're going to embarrass yourself again, Fluo...Anyway."

She cast a dismissive glance toward Flower.

"You should really choose your company better."

She says to me, rolling her eyes. I recoil at her words, gritting my teeth.

"Don't say that. She's really smart and talented, I'm not afraid to tell she's a good company."

Ley frowns and pause, while Flower looks suprised. Darling, of course I'll protect you from this girl, I'll do anything. Shifting as she assess the situation, she huff and retreat with a flick of her hair and a limp smile.

"Whatever. Don't come crying to me, Fluo. I know you can't resist to me."

She turns and walk away. As we are left in silence again, I turn back to Flower, and look down.

"I'm sorry."

I'm not that ashamed, but I still wants to apologize for Ley intrusion.

"It's okay, don't worry. I didn't know you...think that of me."

She smiles a little, making my stop in my apologies. She is smiling at me, I think I'm going to faint...

"Are you okay, though...?"

She asks softly, tilting her head.

"Yes... Yes, I'm good. Don't worry about me."

I offer her a little smile, and get up.

"I should...I should go. After all, my next class is starting soon..."

"Alright. See you around, Fluo."

She waves at me, and I walk away as well, toward my math class.

This day was horrible... Everything after that encounter went downhill. I tripped in the cafeteria, spilling my lunch on the floor and earning snickers from the popular crowd. My usually reliable computer crashed during my English presentation, leaving me red-faced and stuttering in front of the class. And then there was Ley.

"Fluo, wait up !"

She exclaims, rushing towards me. I was on my way to the boarding school; happy to go to sleep. But I guess the Universe isn't done with tormenting me today.

I keep walking, ignoring her like I always did before in my old school; hoping she would give up and leave...But she catches up to me, and grab my arm, nuzzling against it.

"Don't ignore me... Fluo..."

She make her puppy eyes, and I sigh. I am already annoyed, and I really need to get out of this situation...

"I love you Fluo, you know it, right...? You're amazing..."

She press her chest against my arm this time, and smile softly.

"I know you love me too, you just play hard to get... I love boys like you..."

She mutters, her voice dropping to a more seductive tone. I shiver, but of disgust. I don't know what she have in mind, but I don't like it. Not at all... I have a bad feeling. I try to pull my arm away from her grasp, but she tighten her grip, pressing herself more against me.

"Don't leave... Fluo, I did all this for you... You won't disappoint a girl, right ?"

Was she guilt-tripping me ? I don't know how to react, right now. If I leave, she will tell lies to everyone in the school. If I do what she wants, she won't leave anymore.

"Ley, listen... I'm tired, I had a long day, and-"

"Then, let me help you, Fluo. Let me help you relax... Just close your eyes, and let me take care of the rest."

She trail her fingers teasingly on my neck, making me feel sick inside. What was this twisted situation I was in ??? I don't close my eyes, keeping them wide open.

"Fluo...You're amazing, you know...So smart, so kind..."

Her fingers glides down, toward my torso, as she leans closer to my face. I could feel her breath on me, and I try to lean back.

"Ley, um....It's really..."

I stammer nervously, I am so uncomfortable.

"Let me...kiss you, Fluo..."

She leans even more, placing her free hand behind my head to prevent me to move away.

"No..."

I mutter. I see her eyes closing, as she keep coming closer. I don't want her to kiss me, not my first kiss. I want my darling to be !

"Help...Flower...!"

When Ley hears that, she grabs my hair and pull it towards her.

"Flower ?! No ! I'm right here, offering everything you want ! I'll kiss you, I'll show you how it feels to be loved ! Nobody could ever do this for you, nobody ! Now, let me show you how much I love you !"

She looks at me a last time, before brushing her lips against mine. I want to cry, to scream. But the worst is coming. We heart footsteps, who stops. I turn my head to see Flower, looking suprised.

"F-flower !!! I-"

"Don't you see you're interruping something, miss perfect ?"

Say Ley, wrapping her arm around my waist, pressing me against her. I look at Flower with a expression who says "please, help me." She frowns, and say:

"Maybe I'm blind then, but nothing good is happening here."

Ley chuckles lowly, and let me go, before walking towards Flower.

"Who do you think you are ? You're nothing, but a pick me who think that being nice to everyone will bring you something in return. You're kind, only by interest ! You should be ashamed of yourself; you're just disgusting."

Flower eyes widen, and take a step back. My fist clench, I'm ready to punch Ley for doing this. She hurts MY darling, and I won't allow this.

"Leave now. I don't even want to say your name, it makes me want to throw up."

Flower take a step closer, looking at me, like she is asking me what to do. Ley become even more angry, totally caught up in jealousy.

"Don't look at him!"

Say Ley, before slapping Flower.
