A heavy silence settled over the battlefield.
The air smelled of blood and dust, the ground cracked from the overwhelming force of Abhay's attack. The masked warrior lay unconscious in a crater, his body broken and unmoving.
But Abhay's gaze wasn't on him anymore.
His sharp eyes were locked on the four new figures standing in the distance. Each radiated a sinister aura.
One of them stepped forward—a man clad in a long, black coat, his golden eyes glowing under the dim streetlights. His slicked-back silver hair gave him an air of nobility, but his presence exuded nothing but raw danger.
"So, you're the infamous Abhay Rajpoot." His voice was deep, carrying a hint of amusement. "I must admit, you've exceeded my expectations.".
Abhay remained silent, his stance relaxed but his body tensed like a coiled predator.
Yue Rin, still struggling to stand, gasped. She recognized the man.
"K-Kingslayer…" she whispered. "The assassin who killed the European mafia boss in broad daylight… the one who wiped out an entire military squad alone."
Kingslayer smirked, tilting his head. "Ah, so you've heard of me. Good. That'll save us some introductions."
Abhay's expression remained unreadable. His voice was calm but carried a dangerous edge. "If you came to die, I won't stop you."
Kingslayer let out a short chuckle. "Confident, aren't we?" He raised a hand, and the other three figures behind him spread out, their eyes locked onto Abhay.
Each one of them was a trained killer.
But Abhay?
He was something beyond human.
Without another word, they attacked.
The first assassin, a muscular man wielding dual daggers, vanished from sight—his speed nearly inhuman. Within seconds, he was right in front of Abhay, his daggers slicing through the air with deadly precision.
CLANG!
Metal met metal as Abhay blocked the first strike with his bare hand. The dagger barely pierced his skin, a faint cut appearing before it instantly healed.
The assassin's eyes widened in shock.
Too late..
Abhay grabbed his wrist and twisted.
CRACK!
A sickening snap echoed as the assassin's entire arm was broken backwards. He let out a strangled scream, but before he could react—
BOOM!
Abhay drove his knee into the man's stomach, sending him crashing through a nearby car. The vehicle flipped over from the impact, flames bursting from its engine.
But there was no time to stop.
The second assassin, a woman with a sniper rifle, fired.
BANG!
Abhay tilted his head slightly—the bullet barely grazed his cheek before embedding itself into the pavement. His X-ray vision caught her reloading from atop a building, her next shot already lined up.
His eyes flashed coldly.
With a single motion, he grabbed the remains of the shattered car and hurled it at the building.
BOOM!
The entire rooftop collapsed.
The sniper let out a cry as she was buried under the debris.
Yue Rin watched in shock.
This wasn't a fight.
This was a massacre.
Kingslayer, however, remained unfazed. His smirk widened. "Impressive."
He snapped his fingers.
The third assassin, a giant of a man, charged at Abhay like a raging bull. His fists alone were the size of a man's head, and with each step, the ground shook beneath his weight.
"I'LL CRUSH YOU!" he roared.
Abhay sighed. "Annoying."
As the giant's fist came down like a hammer—
Abhay vanished.
In a blur of speed, he appeared behind the giant.
One kick.
Just one kick to the back of the knee—
CRACK!
The giant collapsed, his leg bending in the wrong direction. His scream filled the air before Abhay grabbed his head and slammed it into the pavement.
The concrete shattered.
Blood pooled beneath the unconscious body.
Now, only Kingslayer remained.
The assassin let out a slow, mocking applause. "Brutal. Efficient. Almost... beautiful."
Abhay rolled his shoulders. "Are we done?"
Kingslayer grinned. "Not quite."
And then—he moved.
Faster than anyone before him.
His blade sliced through the air.
For the first time that night—Abhay dodged.
Kingslayer's sword barely missed his throat, the air humming with the deadly sharpness of the blade. Unlike the others, this man wasn't just a brute.
He was skilled. Precise. Deadly.
The two clashed.
Sparks flew as Kingslayer's sword met Abhay's fists. Every strike was aimed at a vital point, but Abhay weaved through them effortlessly, countering with his own brutal attacks.
A punch to the ribs—Kingslayer dodged.
A knee to the jaw—Kingslayer deflected.
The two moved like shadows in the night, each trying to find an opening.
Kingslayer suddenly smirked. "Let's raise the stakes, shall we?"
His eyes turned red.
Abhay's pupils narrowed. "Enhanced body?"
Kingslayer's speed doubled.
In an instant, he appeared behind Abhay, his sword coming down—
SHIIING!
For the first time—Abhay bled.
A thin cut appeared on his arm, blood dripping onto the ground.
Yue Rin gasped. "Abhay!"
Kingslayer grinned. "So you're not untouchable after all."
Abhay tilted his head, looking at the wound. His eyes darkened.
Then—he smiled.
A dangerous, predatory smile.
"Finally." His voice was cold. "Someone worth killing."
The real fight had just begun.
