The Storm Begins

Chapter 10: The Storm Begins

The night was eerily silent. The city skyline stretched before Lucian, bathed in the neon glow of a world unaware of its impending collapse. In less than a week, everything would change.

Lucian stood on the balcony of his billion-dollar villa, his crimson eyes scanning the streets below. He had spent the past month stealing, building, and preparing—while everyone else lived in ignorant bliss. But now, the final phase of his plan was in motion.

Behind him, the door creaked open. Elena, draped in a silk robe, stepped onto the balcony, her green eyes filled with admiration.

"You're really going to let the world burn," she whispered.

Lucian smirked. "No. I'm going to rule over its ashes."

The Final Supply Run

Lucian drove his black Bugatti Chiron through the city streets at breakneck speed. His storage ability had already helped him secure an absurd amount of supplies, but he wasn't done yet.

Tonight, he would hit the military base.

Pulling up outside a restricted facility, he activated his ability.

[Infinite Storage Activated]

In an instant, trucks, crates of weapons, and stockpiles of food vanished into his personal dimension. The alarms blared, but by the time the soldiers arrived—there was nothing left to protect.

Lucian leaned against his car, watching the chaos unfold. They had no idea who had just robbed them blind.

Hunting the Unworthy

The weak would not survive the apocalypse. But Lucian wasn't just waiting for the world to filter them out—he was accelerating the process.

Tonight's target: Ethan Carter. A corrupt businessman, the type who exploited women and crushed the weak under his heel.

Lucian watched from the shadows as Ethan laughed with his entourage, drinking expensive wine in his private club.

Lucian stepped forward, his presence immediately suffocating.

"Carter."

The man turned, blinking in confusion. "Do I know you?"

Lucian didn't answer. In one swift motion, he grabbed Ethan by the throat, lifting him off the ground. The club fell silent.

"You're a parasite," Lucian said coldly. "And I don't let parasites live."

With a single squeeze, bones snapped. Ethan's body dropped lifelessly to the floor.

His entourage scrambled in terror, but Lucian had already vanished into the night.

Returning to the Villa

Back at his fortress, his women were waiting.

Elena, Clara, and Irene lounged in his lavish living room, their eyes gleaming with devotion and excitement. They knew what kind of man he was. And they loved him for it.

Clara smirked. "You're always working, Lucian. When will you make time for us?"

Lucian stepped forward, unbuttoning his shirt. "Tonight."

As the apocalypse loomed, Lucian had only one thought—

He would take everything this world had to offer.
