Lia with a cool temperament and serene face walked into the room, but the cold sweat on his forehead was a different story after seeing the sight that sent shivers down his spine.
He questioned what in the world was going on in this place. Who is the man on the floor and why does Wagner have this in his home?
But even in the face of this horrible scene, his face remained calm as he watched a human body sprawled on the floor, a hideous trail of blood-splattered drag marks stretching out from it.
His steady eyes froze on the disturbing scene and also raised his heartbeats. Not because he was scared or anything. No, he had seen worse in his life, he had done worse to others than this, so, the view was the last thing he was bewildered with.
He was more disturbed with the way the person on the floor was breathing so heavily, visibly having a hard time breathing, covered in the rags, the shredded clothes were in blood stains, as if it had been thrown and left to die. The body was a horrible aftermath of violence.
Lia didn't feel any kind of sympathy but he sure felt as if he had discovered something or seen something he shouldn't have in this life. His heart and stomach felt sick, his conscience was yelling for him to turn around and run, and never talk or even think about this ever again.
Yet, his feet couldn't move. The unpleasant and terrifying-ness of this room tenfold his curiosity, a deadly emotion that could easily get you killed.
But Lia don't give a fuck to death. If it comes then it comes. He's a reckless soul who's just living his days without caring about anything or about anyone. He doesn't care about himself nor does he have someone he wants to protect.
Bending down on one knee, he moved closer to the unconscious man, his trembling dark brown eyes roaming over the man. As he took in the horrible features of the blood-soaked body on the floor, his interest with the dismal scene grew.
The body revealed evidence of violence, with vicious beating marks. Bruises and injuries covered the flesh, in response to the continuous violence it had been tortured to. There were visible pieces of sliced skin and open wounds gushing blood all over the body. Yet, the body was completely packed and muscled from every right angle.
Despite the scorching burns marks, blackened and blistered, Lia was surprisingly drawn towards the man.
The longer he looked, the more the beauty of pain engraved into his brain taking a hold over him. Rather than the cute and sweet things, Lia always had more interest in broken and tortured beauties.
They resembled him perfectly.
His curiosity and amazement grew as he glanced upon the brutalised body. When the body twitched and gently raised its head, revealing a pair of fiery eyes that glowed like flaming coals, Lia's emotions took an unexpected turn. He instantly became engrossed in those mesmerising, blood-red eyes that seemed as if they hadn't slept or seen life in a long time.
Yet, they captivated Lia because the damaged man's broken look displayed a raw beauty that was both haunting and attractive. Lia was pulled to the brokenness of the boy's face at that moment, as if he had discovered an equal rival in the midst of chaos and sorrow. The blood-stained face appeared to echo with his own inner agony, forming a weird and unmistakable link.
For other sane people the sight might be toxic, horrible, and sick to watch but for Lia it was intoxicated. He was lost in those silver brown eyes. He moved from the horror scene to the intriguing attractiveness of the man's suffering.
In the middle of darkness, he's not sure if it was the fierceness of the innocence that made him incapable of recognizing his surroundings or he was just crazy.
Meanwhile, the injured beauty was more startled and confused to see a human being other than those tormentors who tortured him like a dog. He blinked profusely.
"Fuck!" Lia whispered under his breath. Though scarred by blood and violence, the face that peered back at him was a striking conflict of allure. Those silver-brown eyes carried an odd temptation that had Lia completely hooked.
And before he knew it, he felt a deep stir within him, his body reacting insanely.
He was hard.
His dick twitched in his tight pants and he unknowingly gulped.
However.
"Urghhhh!" The world around him went into chaos as he was pushed backward onto the floor with a quick, shocking force.
Nerves flooding over him as a violent hand tightened around his throat, cutting off his breath and squeezing his life. The attack was harsh and fast, leaving him gasping for oxygen and his vision blurring.
Lh….Let—AH! Go….!" But the hand only squeezed harder. Darkness began to take over him as the beauty of his dreams choked him to death.
Lia struggled for every precious breath, moving like a fish soon to leave life, trying to push the steel hand but nothing worked.
"Capture him!" Somehow he got lucky as the room filled with the noises of the guards as they rushed in.
"Fuck, pull this dog back!" But even for them, it seemed almost difficult to control the monster choking Lia.
"This dog is getting out of hand. Why don't they just kill him?!" One of the guards yelled as they finally pulled him back from Lia.
Lia gasped for air, clutching his throbbing neck, he stared in a drowsiness as the beast jumped on one of the guards, tackling vicious blows to the unlucky guard's face until he stopped to move.
"He will kill everyone! Catch him!" The guard yelled, dropped from behind on the beast, electrocuting him with shock devices and unleashing a volley of punches in an attempt to control the crazed monster.
Soon, he passed out in front of Lia's eyes who didn't understand how he should feel.
Everything that happened in the room was scary but not scary than Lydia's glare when he was dragged back to Wagner's office.
"Why were the doors not locked that someone easily sneaked there?" Wagner interrogated the guards whose faces were down in shame.
The office was silent and gloomy. "W-We were out just for a second. I didn't expect that someone-huhp!" His words were cut short by a tremendous bang of a gunshot. His lifeless body fell on the floor.
Before anybody could respond, three more loud bangs sounded out, and three more guards collapsed to the ground, their lives snuffed out in an instant.
Wagner, who appeared unaffected, passed his gun to his butler and cleaned his hands. Lydia, trembling and filled with rage, promised herself that if they made it through this place, she would personally kill Lia.
"I'm sorry, my son has a habit of running away," Lydia apologized as the old man came to stand in front of her. Yet, his eyes were fixed on Lia.
"Make sure to put him on a leash before taking him out next time. A bad habit like this could be fatal," He said calmly, yet it sent shivers down Lydia's spine.
She felt a bit relaxed at his cool voice. "Oh, I will. Thank you for the kind suggestion. He indeed needs to be put on a leash," She glared at Lia.
Wagner laughed, a mock laugh clearly insulting Lia. Lydia smiled seeing Wagner laughing and she relaxed even more.
But Lia wasn't done after creating this big chaos and stood up for the name he was known for, a troublemaker.
He confidently looked up and questioned Wagner in a strong voice. "Are you doing something illegal?"
Wagner's eyes snapped at him instantly raised a brow, his calm face tightened a bit. "What do you mean?"
"Who's that person in that room? Why are you doing that to him?"
"Lia?!" Lydia gripped his arm. Lia hissed as his so-called mother's nails dug in his skin.
"Mr. Valery! You should not-!" The butler, fuming in anger, stopped yelling when Wagner raised his hand.
Wagner turned to Lia, but Lia didn't quit his glare. Both Dexter and Lydia facepalmed hard internally.
"Who are you talking about? Which room?"
"That person who's-"
"Which person?" Lia halted when he saw a vicious smirk pulling on Wagner's face. He wasn't mocking. No, he was warning him to continue if he dared. Warning that it won't be good for Lia to talk about it if he wanted to live.
"Nobody. Mr. Wagner, he didn't see anything. Please ignore him, he's just an ignorant brat. Thank you for your time. We'll leave right now," Lydia said quickly, and couldn't hide her relief as they began to leave. Dexter grabbed Lia's wrist in case he tries up something crazy again.
On the other hand, the butler rushed to Wagner's side. "Are you willing to let them go, sir? That kid knows of Alpha now. At least give them a warning."
"Don't worry, they won't be a problem. Of course, if they value their lives," Wagner said, his words bear a terrible undercurrent of danger.
He returned to his seat while the butler motioned for his men to deal with the dead bodies.
"Call Antonio and ask how the work in the lab is going on," Wagner directed.
"Yes sir."
Valery Mansion-
"What on earth were you thinking?! I know you wanted to cause me trouble, but you should at least look at the situation!" Lydia yelled, her rage getting worse.
Lia exhaled casually, not a single ounce of care on his face. "They're keeping someone hostage."
"I don't want to hear this kind of nonsense from a murderer like you. They can do whatever the fuck they want as long as I got my land," Lydia snarled, her fury uncontrollable.
Lia rolled his eyes, never one to back down. "As if you're any different, a murderer."
Dexter sighed tiredly, he's used to all this drama by now, he decided to stay out of their quarel this time.
"Mind your tongue, you slut." Lydia's nostrils flared and her patience snapped.
"As expected from a cheater. Don't forget you were a slut before you murdered my father—!"
"How dare you!!" She flung her palm out, intending to slap Lia.
"Mom!" She was stopped in her tracks by a terrified voice. "What are you doing? Why are you hitting brother?"
A fragile boy with teary eyes ran down the stairs, his innocent plea falling from his lips just as innocently. Those sapphire colored eyes sparkled like gems as the tears soon rolled down his cheeks when he saw his brother.
"Brother Li? What happened to your neck?!" Forgetting his mother, he ran directly towards Lia who passed him a disgusting look.
"Stay away from me, you stingy rat!" Lia pushed him away before the poor boy could even reach him.
"Eve! Watch out baby!" Lydia caught him, her eyes turning extremely worried.
Lia clenched his fist seeing that look in her eyes for her son.
"You bastard! How could you treat your younger brother like this? Apoloise right now!" Lydia ordered.
Lia laughed sarcastingly, his furious and angry eyes narrowed at Eve who flinched and hid his face in his mother's neck.
Without saying anything Lia strides upstairs.
"M-Mom, why does brother hates me so much?" Eve sobbed badly.
Lydia crushed Lia under her breath while lovingly rubbing Eve's back. "No need to worry about him, Eve. He's just a brat."
As soon as he entered his room, Lia switched off the lights, enveloping himself in darkness. He didn't like the brightness, it felt invasive. He fell on his bed, and his mind automatically drifted to that mysterious boy at Wagner's house.
"Never knew beauty could be lethal," he thought to himself. He gingerly touched his neck, which was still throbbing with pain. A sinister smile crept onto his lips. "Our first meeting was quite...intense. I'm wondering how the second meeting will go?"
Suddenly, the door to his room swung open, breaking the silence. Dexter yelled. "I told you to be nice to Eve. The kid was always worried about you. Is it hard for you?"
But Lia was in his own world. He blushed and buried his face in a pillow, his voice muffled. "I just wanted to have sex with that man. He was...sexy, Dexter."
Dexter couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Are you insane?"
"What do you think?" Lia's response was laced with desire and confusion. His mind kept flashing back to those piercing, lifeless eyes.
"Lia, for God's sake, quit joking. Don't create a problem that you can't handle later. We barely made it out of there alive." Dexter sighed heavily, still shaken from that incident.
Lia abruptly rose up, looking at Dexter with frustration. "You don't understand. I feel like after having sex with that...thing can cure my intense sex drive."
"That's not how science works, Lia," Dexter said, exasperated.
"Your science isn't helping my current situation either." Lia waved him off, falling back onto his bed with a groan. "You really don't understand. When I saw the blood dripping from his face, those emotionless, dead eyes, and the aggressive, deadly scowl ready to skin off whoever approached him...it made me incredibly...horny!" He trailed off.
"What are you even talking about? Are you into animals? Because people in that house looked nothing like a human to me," Dexter questioned in disbelief.
"I'm hard," Lia announced shamelessly.
Dexter shook his head, struggling to comprehend with him. "God, you're unbelievable. Anyways, don't even think about doing anything foolish. You're aware of your mother's rage, and she especially hates you. We're trying to build a relationship with the Wagner family, so don't try to ruin it."
Lia gave Dexter an innocent smile, which made Dexter want to smack him. "I can't promise that," he replied with a mischievous grin.
Dexter sighed and decided to leave the room. "I'm leaving."
"Shut the door on your way out. I'm going to..." Lia's voice trailed off, and he yelled, "masturbate."

"N-No….let go! L-leave me…mom save me!"
Lia was stirred from a nightmare. For a moment he couldn't move. Minutes later he got up and drank some water, his mood was already foul by the dream. He felt like his whole body was crawling with worms.
And a strong desire to have sex and get rid of that itch filled him.
He stood near his window, trembling, but a strange calmness washed over him as he thought of those enigmatic silver eyes that were haunted him ever since he returned from that family. He stared at the moon.
"Yes, those silver eyes were like this moon," he mused in a soft voice. "They seemed as if they wanted to tell me something. And I wanted to….hear them as well."
His heart seemed to calm down, he didn't even realise that he stopped thinking about sex as well.
"God, did I just fall in love at first sight?"
He wanted to see those eyes again.
So, without thinking he decided to sneak out into the night, compelled to find the owner of those captivating eyes once again.
