The Unfathomable Power of Veldora / The Clash of True Dragons: Veldora vs. Velgrynd

Shock and Disbelief

The battlefield stood still.

Everyone—Rudra, Velgrynd, the Single Digits, and even the Empire's elite strategists—stared in utter disbelief.

Veldora stood in midair, grinning as he held the so-called ultimate sealing spell between two fingers, twirling it casually.

The bullet, designed to bind and control a True Dragon, glowed ominously, pulsating with an energy that could ensnare even gods.

Yet, Veldora held it like it was a mere trinket.

He snapped his fingers—and the spell shattered into dust.

A stunned silence followed.

Velgrynd's eyes widened. Rudra's jaw clenched.

Even Feldway, hidden within the Empire's warship, watching through a projection, clicked his tongue in frustration. "Tch… so that won't work? I'll have to send in my Angels soon."

From the Ice Continent, Guy Crimson, who had been observing the war, narrowed his eyes. "This… isn't the Veldora I knew."

Even his two aides, Rain and Misery, looked equally shocked. "Has he… always been this strong?" Misery murmured.

Guy remained silent, watching with newfound intrigue.

From the Empire's command post, Rudra turned to Velgrynd, his face dark with concern. "Velgrynd… you're the only one who can face him."

Velgrynd nodded firmly. "I'll take him down."

With a single flap of her wings, she ascended into the sky, her entire body glowing like a living sun.

Far away, in another kingdom, Milim sat on her throne, impatiently tapping her fingers against the armrest.

Midray stood before her, pleading. "Milim, I know you want to fight, but please—Tempest has this under control."

Milim pouted, crossing her arms. "Booooring! I wanna go punch someone!"

Midray sighed, knowing he wouldn't be able to keep her still for long.

A massive crimson aura erupted above Tempest as Velgrynd entered her True Dragon form.

Her body stretched for miles, her flaming scales radiating an unbearable heat that warped the air itself. The sky turned a deep scarlet, as if the sun itself had descended upon the battlefield.

Rimuru, watching from the Labyrinth, clenched his fists.

"This… is bad."

Beside him, Ramiris flapped her wings anxiously. "R-Rimuru, are we… um… should we do something?!"

Rimuru hesitated. Should he step in?

"…Let's see how this plays out."

Veldora smirked, tilting his head as he gazed up at Velgrynd.

"Oh, sister! Did you come to watch my awesome self?"

Velgrynd clicked her tongue, her burning gaze locked onto him. "Veldora, this is your last chance. Surrender and work with me and Rudra."

Veldora chuckled. "As if! Why would I serve that guy? I have my own kingdom now! I have my own stuff to do!"

Velgrynd's eyes hardened. "Then I will take you by force."

Veldora grinned wider. "Catch me if you can."

BOOM!

The air exploded as Velgrynd charged forward, her flaming claws slicing toward him at hypersonic speeds.

Veldora vanished.

A shockwave rippled through the battlefield as he evaded effortlessly, reappearing above Velgrynd.

"Too slow."

Velgrynd spun, her tail whipping around like a flaming comet.

CRACK!

Veldora blocked with one arm, but the impact sent him flying, shattering mountains in the distance.

Velgrynd wasn't done.

She opened her mouth—a blinding crimson light formed at the core of her throat.

"Scorching Sun Cannon!"

A beam of pure annihilation shot forward, cutting through the sky like a blade of nuclear fire.

Veldora twisted mid-air, barely dodging. The beam grazed him, searing part of his scales.

But instead of pain, he laughed.

"Oho! That actually stung!"

Velgrynd narrowed her eyes. "Enough playing around."

Velgrynd's entire body ignited.

Her form blurred, becoming pure, living fire—a being of raw destruction.

Her wings spread wide, and with one powerful flap, she created a firestorm so hot that the clouds evaporated.

Rimuru, still watching, gulped. "…Maybe I really should step in."

Ramiris was already panicking. "YES, PLEASE, BEFORE THEY TURN THE PLANET INTO A FIREBALL!"

But it was too late.

Velgrynd charged again—her speed reaching FTL levels.

But this time, Veldora was ready.

His golden aura flared, his lightning crackling in defiance.

As Velgrynd lunged—

"Dragon Howl!"

BOOOOM!

A thunderous shockwave burst from Veldora's mouth, colliding with Velgrynd's flaming charge.

The impact shattered the sky, sending a cosmic explosion across the battlefield.

Velgrynd gritted her teeth, pushing forward.

But Veldora suddenly vanished.

And then—

He reappeared above her.

"My turn."

He swung his claw downward.

"Dragon Roar: Celestial Thunderstrike!"

CRACK!

A bolt of golden lightning the size of a mountain struck Velgrynd directly, sending her plummeting toward the ground at supersonic speed.

Inside the Labyrinth, Rimuru sighed deeply.

"…Yeah, I need to step in."

Ramiris nodded furiously. "YES, PLEASE! BEFORE THEY DESTROY THE PLANET!"

Rimuru stood up, his divine aura flaring.

"Alright. Time to stop those two before they level Tempest."

Velgrynd stabilized herself, growling. "You… are different."

Veldora grinned. "Of course! I've been training!"

Velgrynd's eyes narrowed. "Fine. No more holding back."

Veldora grinned wider. "Good. I was getting bored."

Both dragons powered up.

The air trembled.

The world itself seemed to hold its breath.

And then—

They clashed one final time.

The explosion rippled across the continent, shaking the heavens.

The battle was far from over.

Veldora's Resolve: No More Mass Destruction

Veldora floated in midair, his arms crossed, as he observed the aftermath of their last clash.

The battlefield beneath them was scarred beyond recognition—mountains had crumbled, lakes had evaporated, and the very sky bore the scars of their previous attacks.

Veldora clicked his tongue. "Tch. At this rate, we'll destroy the entire region before we even finish fighting."

He cracked his knuckles, a new strategy forming in his mind.

"Time to get up close and personal."

Velgrynd, still hovering in the air, snarled, her body radiating a fiery aura. "You finally realizing you can't win, little brother?"

Veldora grinned, his golden eyes glinting with mischief. "Nah, I just decided to beat you without turning Tempest into a wasteland."

Velgrynd's expression darkened. "Bold of you to assume you'll win."

Veldora crouched slightly, his stance shifting.

Then—

He vanished.

Before Velgrynd could react, a fist was already in her face.

BOOM!

A devastating right hook crashed into her jaw, sending her flying backward at supersonic speeds.

She barely had time to process the hit when—

WHOOSH!

Veldora reappeared behind her, his foot already swinging.

"Dragon Fang Kick!"

His heel smashed into her ribs, sending her hurtling downward like a meteor.

The ground below cracked from the sheer force of her descent.

But Veldora wasn't done.

Before she could even crash—

He warped in front of her mid-air, his hands moving in a Tai Chi-like motion, redirecting her momentum.

"Flowing Thunder Palm."

With a smooth, controlled movement, he struck her chest with his palm, sending a concentrated shockwave through her body.

The force didn't send her flying.

Instead, it stunned her.

Velgrynd's eyes widened.

"What—?!"

Veldora flipped over her, locking his arms around her neck and twisting mid-air.

"Dragon's Spiral Suplex!"

With a thunderous crash, he slammed her into the ground headfirst.

The impact rippled across the battlefield.

Velgrynd coughed, flames leaking from her mouth, but she refused to stay down.

With a roar, her body ignited, the heat around her warping reality itself.

Veldora raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You still got fight in you?"

Velgrynd growled. "I'm not losing to you, Veldora."

WHOOSH!

She vanished in an explosion of fire, reappearing behind him.

Her fist blazed, striking toward his ribs.

But—

Veldora gently twisted his torso, narrowly dodging the attack in a motion resembling Tai Chi.

His movements were fluid, effortless—like a river flowing around a stone.

Velgrynd threw a second punch.

Again, he shifted, dodging by mere inches.

A third punch.

A fourth.

A fifth.

Every single strike missed.

Velgrynd's frustration grew. "Stop dodging and fight me head-on, coward!"

Veldora smirked. "If you insist."

Velgrynd lunged forward with one final, all-out attack—

But Veldora moved first.

His fist blurred.

"Thunderous Dragon Fist!"

BOOM!

His punch landed squarely in Velgrynd's stomach, sending shockwaves through her entire body.

Her flames flickered, her vision blurred.

But before she could fall—

Veldora caught her.

His grip was firm but gentle.

Velgrynd struggled weakly. "…Why… why don't you finish me?"

Veldora sighed. "Because you're my sister, dummy."

Velgrynd's eyes widened.

"I never wanted to kill you. I just had to stop you."

He let her go, stepping back.

Velgrynd, exhausted, collapsed to her knees.

Rudra, watching from afar, clenched his fists in frustration.

"Velgrynd… lost?"

Feldway, still hidden, narrowed his eyes. "…That dragon is a problem."

Veldora stretched, cracking his neck.

"Welp. That's over. Who's next?"

The battlefield was silent.

No one dared to challenge him.
