I pulled my suitcase along, holding Serenity's hand with my free one, while Serenity held onto Harmony. We walked with determined steps towards the airport lobby.


At the security checkpoint, I knelt down and gently adjusted the children's collars, feeling a weight lift off my chest.


"Serenity, Harmony, we're about to go to a new place and start a new life!" I said softly, my eyes full of hope for the future.


Serenity and Harmony nodded understandingly. Though their young faces showed a hint of reluctance, there was more excitement for the unknown.


After passing through security, we sat in the departure lounge.


I watched the children doze off, leaning against me.


I silently vowed to give them a happy and stable life.


The plane took off, breaking through the clouds and flying towards the distance.
