Chapter 7

Alec was left speechless by my question.

The air grew thick with tension.

At that moment, Scarlett stood up, swaying her hips, and wrapped her arms around Alec's.

"Brother Alec, let's just go!"

"I don't think Sister Serenity wants us here."

After Scarlett spoke, Alec's expression grew even colder.

He turned, holding Eames, ready to leave.

I quickly stepped forward and grabbed his wrist.

"Alec, leave Eames here."

Alec's lips curled into a cold smirk, devoid of any emotion.

"Leave him here for you to strangle the child?"

I held onto his wrist tightly, refusing to let go, creating a complete standoff.

Until he impatiently yanked his hand away, throwing me off.

At that moment, a silver ring fell to the ground.

Alec's expression changed slightly.

He bent down to pick it up, but I was quicker.

I caressed the men's ring in my hand.

I felt the QR code Alec had mentioned.

In an instant, a theory formed in my mind.

Alec suffered from intermittent amnesia.
