Chapter 4: One Sided Victory
It was time for round two.
And Bartoss was at a disadvantage, her energy rifle were out of reach, she could only rely on her high tech armor to protect herself.
But Terra already saw the armor weakness, it was Bartoss head.
Leaving Bartoss head defenseless without any helmet or protection was a huge blunder on the aliens part.
And not giving any spare weapon to Bartoss? Another blunder that could have been avoided.
Unlike Bartoss.
Earth has several weapon on her body.
If both her shotgun, ballistic shield, and pistol were destroyed, she could still rely on the grenade, flash-bang, and smoke bomb to her advantage, they were afterall attached to her black vest.
Terra aimed her semi-automatic shotgun, and dashed full speed towards Bartoss closing the distance between her ballistic shield, and at the same time keeping her semi-automatic shotgun pointed at Bartoss form.
*Wooosh*
Seeing Earth sprinting towards the ballistic shield while ignoring her energy rifle, Bartoss immediately made a break for it, and sprinted towards her energy rifle.
*Swish*
The distance between them were mere meters away.
Terra seeing the opportunity, aimed her semi-automatic shotgun slightly at Bartoss head.
When they were almost half a meters away, Terra immediately pressed the trigger without hesitation.
But did Bartoss allowed that? No, she raised her hand and blocked the steel ball coming at her, long prepared for her attack.
*Bang!*
*Clank!* *Clank!* *Clank!* *Clank!*
The steel balls bounce off Bartoss armored.
Terra narrowed her eyes, and pressed the trigger again, closing the distance between them even more.
*Bang!*
*Clank!* *Clank!* *Clank!*
They were blocked by Bartoss armor, deflecting the steel ball away.
With a few meters away from each other, Terra pressed the trigger again, shooting several more steel balls towards Bartoss.
*Bang!*
*Clank!* *Clank!*
Once again they were blocked by Bartoss armor.
Within arm reach, Bartoss tried to grab Terra shotgun at that moment.
*Swish!*
Terra seeing Bartoss attempts, merely pretended to be caught, while she sneakily grabbed a flashbang on her black vest with her left arms.
"Hah! Got you!" Bartoss smugly exclaim, as if victory was already hers upon holding Earths main weapon.
Little does she knows, that all of it was planned from the beginning.
Terra pulled the pin with her mouth, and throw it right in front of Bartoss face.
"?" Bartoss stared at the white looking container with a puzzled expression.
Terra closed her eyes and ears in advance, as a small light flashed before everyone's eyes, accompanied by a deafening bang.
*BANG!*
An powerful smoke covered the area, and the disoriented Bartoss lost her grip on Earths Shotgun.
*Swish!*
Terra swiftly took her weapon away, she aimed at Bartoss supposed position, and pressed the trigger multiple time in succession, whether her shot would miss or not doesn't matter as shooting multiple time will solve it.
*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*
The steel ball scattered everywhere, hitting every direction it could reach not even the smoke is spare.
Terra only stopped shooting when her ammunition is gone, but that didn't mean she stopped attacking.
The smoke slowly cleared, before it fade away Terra grabbed her ballistic shield from the solid ground, she strapped the semi-automatic shotgun on her back before she grabbed a grenade from her black vest.
She pulled the pin and throw it away, heading towards Bartoss direction while she struck the ballistic shield to the iron floor and hide herself behind it, as she wait for the inevitable explosion with her ears covered.
*BOOOOM!*
The grenade exploded sending its shard everywhere, waking the crowd from their dazed state.
Her ballistic shield easily blocked the shard coming at her, while Terra herself held another grenade on her right hand just incase one was not enough.
The smoke gradually faded, revealing the aftermath of Terra's work.
Bartoss lay on the solid ground, her head is gone and her armor filled with mìnor damage.
Overall other then her high tech armor, Bartoss had receive a fatal injurie to the head and torso.
The grenade had done its work, but Terra was still in doubt.
So she decided to pull the grenade pin and throw it at Bartoss, better be safe then sorry.
Terra hide behind her ballistic shield again, and waited for the explosion to occur.
*Ka BOOOM!*
With a resounding explosion, it woke many of the shocked alien on stage.
The dust cleared, and Bartoss entire body is fatally injured except for the armor.
Terra nodded, now convinced that Bartoss is really dead.
...Bartoss is dead and what flow from her headless body was molten lava just like the outer & Inner layer of a planet molten lava.
"..." She paused, upon that realization.
'I killed her, I really killed her!' Terra shouted in her mind, horrified at the headless body of Bartoss.
'No no, calm down, be calm. It's either her being killed or me' Terra exclaim in her mind.
She shook her head, sighing to herself.
Making the decision to kill her, and actually doing it were drastically different.
She felt uncomfortable upon taking another 'life' with her own hand, yet she felt relief.
Maybe because she save Humanity from enslavement? Or save Earth from being a hallow shell of its former self?
Terra didn't know, she could only uproot her ballistic shield from the metal floor, and wait for the goblin looking alien to announce her victory.
And just on time, the Planet System appeared, right when Terra had calmed herself down.

She honestly forgot that she had a system with her.
The reward were generous, but she wasn't going to make assumptions since this is the first time she receive a reward.
"Planet System pleass show me my Status panel" Terra politely muttered.
Immediately, the other panel disappeared, replace by a more wider and taller panel,

Her stats had gone up by 10 point, her Templete were raised by 3%, Her E.P and C.E also increased.
But the most notable was the new Unequipped Templete! And the Title!

Terra nodded in satisfaction, she felt slightly weird at being called a Ruthless Fighter by the system.
Was her fighting really ruthless? She didn't know much about fighting, so she can't make a opinion on that.
'Moon Templete, is it any different from the Earth Templete?'' Terra questioned in her mind, and checked the New Templete out of curiosity

Terra read through the contents, happy at the skill and special effect.
Low Gravity allows her to reduce the gravity around her to that of the moon gravity, making super jump easily achievable, even climbing building were easy to accomplished.
She who had personally experience the gravity of the moon, knows how low the gravity were there, if she could have a low Gravity to that of the moon without a spacesuit then she might even be able to climb any wall with just her feet.
Terra smiled in satisfaction, at the new Templete.
She clicked the equipped button, and her status panel immediately change.

"The Winner Is EARTH!" The goblin alien spoke with a loud shout resounding throughout the stages and arena.
Then the thunderous cheer of the human side erupted like lighting striking the arena.
Their cheers woke Terra up from her thought, flinching from the sudden noise.

"WE LOVE YOU EARTH!!"
"I Know Earth Would Win!"
"See that? Earth is the strongest planet!"
"Pff two grenade! and she died just like that? What a joke!"

"What an Ruthless Planet!"
"The fuck!? How could a mere explosion killed Bartoss!?"
"This cannot be True! Bartoss is the strongest! and oldest planet! How could she be defeated by an 6,000 years old planet!?"
"Yeah! Bartoss is 100,000 years old! How could she be defeated!?"

"6,000 Years old? Earth is Older then that!"
"Heh! Earth is Actually 4 Billions Years Old!"
"..." That shut them up.
Now they were starting to regret challenging an old unawaken planet, how were they suppose to know that Earth was 4 Billion years old!?
If they had known, they would have never made contact with Humanity, or even enter their galaxy in the first place!
Terra smile, the cheers from the human side made her feel better about her action.
Atleast she knows that Humanity were on her side, as long as she did her best, then everything would be fine.
Terra stared at the human side, her bright smile seem to have charmed them as they enthusiastically cheer her victory.
The feeling of being praise, and complement by what looks like a million people were like a dream to her, and she felt prideful about it too.
"Praise The Earth" One of the Human Shouted Enthusiastically.
"Glory To Earth!" Someone shouted.
"Your Hair Is So Beautiful!"
"I Love You Earth!!"
Terra face heat up from the countless praise, and shameless complement.
There were so many of them that she wanted to hide her face, why were they so Shameless!?
"Ahh! This is so embarrassing! This is even worse then fighting!" Terra exclaim, covering her red face.
Terra hide behind the Ballistic shield, her face getting redder and redder like a tomato.
The surface of her hair started to erupt as countless volcano spew out lava before falling down not doing anything but show how embarrassed Terra was.
This only made her face redder when she realise what was happening on her head, and why there were small orange droplets falling down.
She really wanted to dig a hole, and hide from shame....
