The Lone Wolf Canyon
Ling Tian stood deep within the Lone Wolf
Canyon, the surrounding environment suddenly turning solemn and oppressive. The
canyon's towering cliffs reached up into the clouds, the air thick with rot and
moisture, as if the very land had witnessed countless brutal battles. Just as
he was about to proceed deeper, a rustling sound suddenly reached his ears.
Ling Tian halted immediately, looking up. A
massive wolf shadow slowly emerged from the depths of the canyon. The wolf's
body was enormous, its eyes glowing red, like a demon born from the darkness,
exuding an overwhelming killing intent.

then leapt towards Ling Tian with incredible speed. Its claws, gleaming with
deadly light, cut through the air. Reflexively, Ling Tian activated [Energy
Shield], and a blue protective barrier enveloped his body, emitting powerful
energy waves, blocking the wolf's initial attack.

and its claws struck again. This time, Ling Tian didn't fully dodge; instead,
using the [Shadow Amulet]'s speed boost, he quickly evaded to the wolf's flank
and accurately struck its exposed hind leg with his short staff.
"Target the weak points." Ling
Tian thought quickly, using [Yin-Yang Reversal] to swap the BOSS's attack power
with his own defense ratio, reducing the wolf's attack speed and buying him
valuable time for offense.
[Yin-Yang Reversal] Activated!
The BOSS's attacks became slower, and Ling
Tian seized the opportunity to close the gap. With precise strikes, his short
staff landed several hits on the wolf's side, each dealing significant damage.
As the staff struck, Ling Tian could clearly feel the BOSS's health quickly
diminishing.
However, Ling Tian remained cautious. Just
as he prepared for another wave of attacks, [Lone Wolf · Shadow] suddenly let
out a deep growl, its body merging into the surrounding shadows and vanishing
from sight.
"Shadow Devour!"
A surge of dark energy erupted from the
ground, swallowing all the light around Ling Tian, plunging the battlefield
into total darkness. Ling Tian instantly lost all visual perception, only able
to hear the low, ominous breathing around him.
"Damn, it's Shadow Devour!" Ling
Tian's heart tightened as he quickly activated the [Rune Ring]'s recovery
effect, trying to stay calm. In this moment, his ears sharpened, detecting
faint vibrations from the ground—The BOSS was closing in!
"I have to react quickly!" Ling
Tian took a deep breath, concentrating his mind, and repositioned himself
swiftly.

A few seconds later, Ling Tian felt a
massive pressure closing in on him. He judged that the BOSS was approaching

just in time, dodging the wolf's pounce. He immediately raised his short staff
and struck the BOSS's head with precision.
"This is my chance!" Ling Tian's
eyes gleamed with determination.

Weakness!
Ling Tian quickly activated his final
attack, repeatedly using [Yin-Yang Reversal], and expertly targeted the BOSS's
core. The symbols on his short staff shimmered with dazzling light as each
strike packed a heavy blow, hitting the wolf's weak points.
[Lone Wolf · Shadow]'s health rapidly
plummeted, and finally, with Ling Tian's decisive strike, the BOSS's body
violently trembled and collapsed, causing a burst of dust to rise.

auxiliary effects, perfect for me as an auxiliary class." Ling Tian smiled
slightly, nodding in satisfaction.

The dungeon notification flashed again:

Items [Wolf Fur Cloak] and [Lone Wolf Gem]."
Ling Tian stood beside the loot, feeling a
surge of pride. Through his effort and ingenuity, he had not only defeated the
powerful BOSS but also earned generous rewards.
"Next, I should prepare to challenge even
stronger enemies." Ling Tian said confidently, continuing deeper into the
canyon.
