Chapter 39 Observing the Battle

Friday, December 29, 2034.

Werewolf's Planet, Green Plain, Werewolf's Camp, 15:00 p.m.

Graham, a magic goat with water element magic, he could control water with his mind. He stood at the riverside, drinking water that tasted like green grass tea with the scent of leaves of grass. He drank water with peace, looking the surroundings where the wolf group encircled him, going to raise their wolf's claws and crush him.

"Hello! Could anybody just tell me who's the commander here?"

Graham inquired, wanting to talk with the commander. He looked upon the wolf group, feeling familiar but strange. He felt familiar with them, as if he had met them before. He felt strange, because he didn't know those huge wolves.

'Fresh breeze would be cool. Sunshine would be gentle. The huge wolves might ruin this lovely day. Since when there's so many huge wolves?'

Jacob stepped forward, looking unto Graham. He remembered Graham who once was too powerful for him. He remembered Graham who taught him a lesson that he couldn't forget. He remembered Graham who shamed him.

"Hello! I'm Jacob, werewolf army general. There's one thousand and one huge wolves. To battle with me or to battle with the wolf group, it's up to you. If you won the battle, you will walk away. If you lost the battle, you will be brought to meet the queen. I'm looking forward to washing off my shame with your blood."

Jacob gave him two choices, looking forward to washing off his shame with his blood. He was defeated for one hundred times, but he would stand up from where he fell, and wash off his shame with his enemy's blood. He stood in front of him, looking back every battle that he failed.

'At the first time I encountered him, I smelled the delicious scent that I couldn't refuse. I challenged him, but I was taught a lesson that I couldn't forget. I challenged him again over again, but I was defeated again over again. It's a shame that I was defeated by a goat. I'm gonna wash off my shame with his blood.'

Graham stood at the riverside, looking unto water surface with the view of blue sky, white clouds and meadow, where surface with mirror reflected each other's shadow. He gazed upon the wolf group, his gaze peaceful as water surface reflected the faces of huge wolves into his view.

"I'm Graham. I was gonna have a nap in this sunny afternoon, but I'm afraid you might disturb my nap. So I'm gonna teach you a lesson that you can't forget, before I could make sure that you won't disturb my nap."

Graham whispered, going to teach the wolf group a lesson that they couldn't forget. He just wanted to have a nap in hot sunshine, but he must make sure no wolves would disturb his nap. He disliked to be disturbed by the expected wolf group. He looked at the wolf group, as if he looked at the ants.

'I'm Graham, a magic goat with water element magic, one of superheroes in goat clan. I'm honored as superhero, because I offer my protection to those goats without magic ability. I'm honored as superhero, because I offer sufficient water to this vast plain in the days without rainfall. I'm honored as superhero, because I offer a lesson to those huge wolves who want to eat goat.'

Jacob shifted behind Graham, raising his wolf's claw, trying to smash Graham's back. He smashed Graham's back, his strength could be strong enough to break down a huge tree, his strength was like a stone that fell into a lake. He saw Graham turning into water, and water turning into Graham.

Graham turned into water, merging into river, to avoid Jacob's smash. Water raised from river, turning into Graham. Graham stood on water surface, looking upon Jacob who also gazed at him, looking for his weakness to attack.

Graham raised his slender and strong goat's leg, stepping on water surface, rippling water surface. The ripples turned into a kind of energy tide, crushing upon Jacob with nine energy tides. Each energy tide could be stronger than the former energy tide.

The first energy tide could break down a huge tree, the fourth energy tide could break a huge rock into piece, the ninth energy tide could break down a small hill. The first energy tide pushed Jacob back a step, the second energy tide pushed him back three steps, the thirth energy tide pushed him back nine steps.

The forth energy tide pushed him back from riverside to a huge tree, breaking the huge tree down, breaking him down, but he stood up from where he fell. The fifth energy tide pushed him back from the broken tree to a huge rock, breaking the huge rock into pieces, breaking him down again, but he stood up from where he fell again.

The sixth energy tide pushed him back from the broken rock to a small hill, wedging him inside the small hill, but he endured his pain, running toward his opponent. The seventh energy tide, pushed him back to the small hill, wedging him inside the small hill again, but he endured his pain, running toward his opponent again with the last strength within his body.

The eighth energy tide was a tsunami that pushed him back from the riverside to the mall hill, wedging him inside the small hill. He had a strong will to endure his pain, but he had no strength to move his body again.

The ninth energy tide was a huge tsunami that was much stronger than the former energy tide, waving upon the small hill, where Jacob had no strength to move his body, laying at the tunnel inside the small hill. He watched the approaching tsunami, thinking of the queen in his last moment.

'The queen! You are always my queen. I honor you, worship you, and sacrifice for you. I admire you, fancy you, and fall for you. I might pass away. If there was another life, I would continue fighting for the queen in another life.'

Morgana stood on the grass, looking unto the cellphone, observing the scene of the battle between Jacob and Graham. She opened a portal aside, walking inside, shifting to the small hill where Jacob laid in the tunnel, waiting for the approaching tsunami. She walked to Jacob's side, looking unto the approaching tsunami that came with immense power, going to crush the whole hill.

"Devil's claw! Protect us!"

Morgana opened a portal, summoning devil's claw from the Queen's Treasury. A huge devil's claw stretched out the portal, laying in front of the queen and Jacob. She manipulated the devil's claw, opening a huge palm, protecting them inside the palm.

'Each energy tide would be stronger than the former energy tide. The last energy tide would be available to slay a dragon. I'm surprised that he could endure eight energy tides with his strong will.'

The ninth energy tide was a huge tsunami that came with immense power, going to crush the whole hill. The ninth energy tide waved upon the small hill, breaking down the hilltop, breaking the hill and stone into pieces. The small hill was smashed into ruin, and the ruin was nothing left but the huge devil's claw.

In the ruin, Morgana and Jacob was protected behind the devil's claw. She moved away the devil's claw, looking unto the surroundings, where there was nothing but mud, broken trees and broken stones. The small hill had became mud, broken trees, and broken stones, and Jacob had returned the werewolf form.

She squatted on the ground, looking unto the injured Jacob who had endured eight energy tides. She activated Queen's Detection System, detecting Jacob's situation. She saw most of his ribs and bones were broken.

"You have fought for me with loyalty and bravery. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. Tell me the greatest regret in your life. I might help."

Morgana whispered, looking into Jacob's eyes. She squatted on the ground, looking unto his injured body that's seriously injured. If she appeared earlier, she might have a chance to save him, but it's too late.

'I'm sorry, I shouldn't give you this mission. You have fought for me with loyalty and bravery. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. Your contribution to your empire and your people will not be forgotten. Your loyalty to your queen will not be forgotten. You will reborn as a devil soldier, and continue serving for your empire, people and queen.'

Jacob endured his pain with his strong will, holding on his last breath within his body. He opened his eyes, seeing the queen at the first sight. He was glad that he could see the last sight of the queen, before he passed away the world.

"Your majesty! I'm sorry. I failed the mission." Jacob continued, "I have been serving for the empire for three centuries. I have seen sunrise and sunset on the plain for one hundred thousand times. But I haven't ever touched a lady's hand for once. It's the greatest regret that I haven't ever touched a lady's hand. I'm dying now. I wish I could die in a lady's arms."

Jacob muttered, telling the queen his greatest regret in his life. He muttered out his greatest regret with the last breath within his body, going to rest. He felt he was held by a lady, smelling the scent of the lady, resting with a smile.

Morgana held Jacob's head in her arms, looking unto his face, trying to remember the last sight of his smile. She remembered Jacob reported werewolf army's sitation and werewolf soldiers training schedule. She remembered this young gentleman accepted the mission with confidence. She remembered his loyalty and bravery in the battle.

"Hello, Daniel!" Morgana continued, "Go revenge for a martyr!"

Morgana opened a portal, summoning Daniel who was the captain of Devil's Spaceship No.7. She stood on the ruin, looking unto the plain with blue sky, white clouds, and green grass. She raised her hand, pointing at the distance, where Graham was fighting with werewolf soldiers.

'This plain is beautiful with the view of blue sky, white clouds, and green grass. The sunrise and sunset on the plain must be more beautiful. I'm sorry that you can't see these beautiful views anymore.'

Daniel fluttered out the portal, kneeling on right knee at the queen. He raised his head, looking at where the queen pointed. He stood on the ruin, looking unto the distance, where the magic goat was fighting with werewolf soldiers.

"Yes, your majesty!"
