Chapter 14: The Firearm Master

Crix, struggling to stay on his feet,

coughed up blood and glared at the figure standing before him. His once

unshakable confidence was now laced with fear and disbelief. He clenched his

fists, his voice rasping with rage.

"Why are you here?" he spat, his body trembling from the pulse-waves that had shattered

his defenses.

The warrior before him tilted his head

slightly, a glint of amusement in his piercing eyes. "Surprise," he

said coolly, his voice carrying the weight of authority and vengeance.

Crix let out a low growl, his breath

ragged. "I will avenge my brother's death… You will regret ever

standing against me!"

The warrior merely smirked, unfazed by

Crix's threats. He turned to his Co-Assassins, his elite team of

operatives, and issued his orders with precision.

"Take the others to the hospital

immediately. Stabilize their conditions and ensure their safety. As for Rin and

Senjuro, load them into my Eclipse Kuroijin—I want them treated

personally."

The assassins nodded and swiftly moved

into action, lifting the battered and unconscious bodies of Rin and Senjuro

with utmost care. As they secured them into the Eclipse Kuroijin, a

sleek, state-of-the-art combat transport infused with Prismal Flux

enhancements, the warrior continued.

"Contact my private doctor. Tell them

to prepare for critical condition patients. Have the driver take them to Nova-Prime—directly

to my Embersea Resort."

One of the assassins, adjusting his Specter

Phantom-X visor, asked, "What about you, sir?"

The warrior's gaze never left Crix,

who was barely holding himself together. His voice was calm, but there was a

dangerous edge to it.

"After they wake up, inform me

immediately. I'll be visiting them soon."

As the Eclipse Kuroijin roared

to life, vanishing into the neon-lit skyline of Nova-Prime, the

warrior took a step forward, looming over Crix.

"Your reign ends here, Heshira.

Quantum Bay will never belong to Segrito."

Crix gritted his teeth, but before he

could muster a response, the warrior was already gone—a phantom in the storm,

leaving only echoes of his presence behind.

Crix was captured and sent to the prison

in Quantum Bay and the warrior had started to Nova-Prime and reached the

mansion. He went to the room and asked Senjuro "Are you guys fine?" Rin replied

"Yes, we are fine but, who are you?" The warrior replied "The name's Kyrin

Vyvron. People call me 'The Firearm Master'. Rin asked in a confused manner "Is

there a reason for that?" Kyrin replied "You'll know soon enough"

Kyrin's piercing gaze held steady as he spoke, his

voice carrying an air of quiet authority. Before Rin or Senjuro could press

further, a knock echoed from the doorway. One of Kyrin's co-assassins entered,

handing him a sleek black keycard embedded with glowing blue circuits.

Kyrin glanced at it,

then smirked. "Right on time."

Without another word, he turned on his heel and

strode towards the hallway, his long coat flowing behind him. "Follow

me."

Rin shot Senjuro a

look, but the two assassins quickly fell in step behind Kyrin, their instincts

telling them that whatever was coming next would be crucial.

They followed him

through the dimly lit corridors of the mansion, the walls lined with reinforced

steel and hidden security nodes pulsing with Prismal Flux energy. After a few

moments, they arrived at a heavily secured elevator. Kyrin swiped the keycard across

the scanner, and the doors slid open with a soft hiss.

"Step inside."

The trio entered,

and the elevator began its silent descent. The atmosphere inside was thick with

tension and curiosity. Rin, ever the impatient one, crossed his arms.

"You still haven't answered my question. Why do people call

you the Firearm Master?"

Kyrin chuckled but

didn't immediately answer. Instead, he tapped a small interface on the

elevator's panel, activating a holo-display. It projected a swirling image of

Quantum Bay, overlaid with shifting data points and weapons diagnostics.

"Because I have mastered every known firearm in existence," Kyrin finally said, his voice calm but laced with

conviction. "From conventional ballistics to advanced Prismal

Flux weaponry. But more than that, I create weapons. I modify them, enhance

them, push them beyond their limits. I don't just wield guns—I redefine them."

Rin let out a low

whistle. "Alright, that's actually badass."

Senjuro, ever the

analyst, eyed the display with interest. "And where exactly are you taking us?"

"This is where I keep my weapons," he said as the elevator began descending. "My true weapons."

They had entered a vast underground armory; unlike

anything they had ever seen. Rows upon rows of weapons—pistols, rifles,

shotguns, experimental energy-based firearms, even custom melee weapons—lined

the walls, all powered by the glowing pulses of Prismal

Flux Energy. The chamber was bathed in a soft, pulsating light, and

holographic interfaces displayed data for each piece of equipment.

In the centre of

the room was a massive war table, showing a holographic

projection of Quantum Bay, Nova-Prime, and multiple other strategic locations.

Live data streamed across the interface—enemy movements, weapons caches,

encrypted transmissions.

"Welcome to my underground arsenal," Kyrin said, his voice calm but firm. "This

is just one of my bases. I have over a thousand like this worldwide."

Rin let out a low

whistle. "Okay, I get it now. That's insane."

Senjuro, ever the

strategist, was already analyzing the data on the war table. "You've

been monitoring Segrito, haven't you?"

Kyrin nodded. "For

years. They've been growing stronger, expanding their reach beyond Quantum Bay.

But now, with Crix's downfall, they're going to retaliate. We need to be

ready."

He turned to face

them fully. "And that's why I'm going to train you. Starting

now."

Rin cracked his

knuckles. "Alright, what's the plan?"

Kyrin walked over

to a section of the armory and picked up two customized firearms—one for

Senjuro, one for Rin. He tossed them over, and both assassins caught them with

practiced ease.

"First, you're going to master three combat styles: Inferno

Veil Tactica, Phantom Ember Doctrine, and Eclipse Barrage Stratum. If you want

to stand a chance against what's coming, you'll need to learn all three."

Rin inspected his

weapon, feeling the weight in his hands. "And if we do?"

Kyrin's eyes glowed slightly under the neon light. "Then

you won't just be assassins. You'll be legends.

Senjuro and Rin exchanged glances, still trying to

process everything that had happened. Just hours ago, they were fighting for

their lives against Crix Heshira, and now they stood in the underground armory

of one of the most feared assassins in the world—Kyrin Vyvron, the Firearm

Master. The dimly lit chamber buzzed with the hum of high-powered weaponry,

glowing nodes of Prismal Flux energy pulsating along the walls.

Rin took a step

forward, scanning the vast arsenal that stretched across the underground

complex. Rifles, handguns, experimental exo-weapons, and melee combat tools,

all neatly arranged in cases with biometric locks. Massive war tables displayed

holographic maps of Quantum Bay and other locations around the world, tracking

the movements of Segrito forces.

Still in disbelief,

Rin turned to Kyrin. "You seriously have a thousand bases?"

Kyrin smirked. "A

thousand and seven, to be exact."

Senjuro, ever the

tactician, crossed his arms. "So why are we here? What do you gain from

training us?"

Kyrin stepped

forward, his gaze sharpening. "You're skilled, but your fight against Crix

showed me that you both still have much to learn. Segrito is far from finished.

Quantum Bay is in danger, and if you want to protect it, you need to master

more than just raw combat. You need precision, strategy, and adaptability.

That's where I come in."

Rin clenched his

fists, determination rising within him. "Then what's the first lesson?"

Kyrin turned to

one of the reinforced weapon lockers and placed his hand on the biometric

scanner. With a soft beep, the locks disengaged, revealing a sleek, high-tech

firing range beyond. He motioned for them to follow.

"Lesson one: Control."

As they stepped

into the firing range, the walls shifted, revealing multiple automated training

drones. Kyrin walked to the center and unholstered two sleek, customized

firearms—one a modified high-caliber pistol infused with Prismal Flux, the

other a lightweight submachine gun with an energy-synchronized firing

mechanism.

"This is Inferno Veil Tactica," Kyrin explained, raising his pistol. "It's

a fusion of speed and precision. Every shot must have purpose, every movement a

step ahead of your opponent."

With a swift

motion, he fired. The bullet tore through the air, curving mid-flight as if

guided by an unseen force, and struck a drone right in its core. A second

later, before the first drone even hit the ground, Kyrin spun, firing another

shot that ricocheted off the reinforced wall and struck a second drone squarely

in the head.

Rin and Senjuro

stood in stunned silence.

Kyrin smirked and

holstered his weapon. "That's just the beginning."

He then gestured

toward another section of the armory, where heavier weapons were displayed. "Next,

Phantom Ember Doctrine. This style focuses on suppressive fire and

movement-based combat. It's about controlling the battlefield, forcing your

enemy into bad positions while staying untouchable."

Kyrin picked up a

modified exo-rifle, its barrel lined with Prismal Flux energy stabilizers. He

activated the targeting system, and in an instant, the training drones

accelerated their movements, dodging unpredictably.

Kyrin, unphased,

squeezed the trigger. The rifle let out a burst of staggered energy rounds,

forcing the drones into a pattern of evasive movement—exactly as he predicted.

With a quick adjustment, he fired again, hitting them all in rapid succession

before they could react.

Senjuro narrowed

his eyes. "This is beyond standard marksmanship. You're

controlling the enemy's choices before they even realize it."

Kyrin nodded. "Exactly.

In battle, it's not about just hitting your target. It's about making sure they

never had a chance to escape in the first place."

Rin was getting

more excited by the second. "And what about Eclipse Barrage Stratum?"

Kyrin's expression

darkened slightly. "That's for later. That style is lethal, and

you're not ready for it yet."

Rin groaned. "Come

on, just a hint?"

Kyrin sighed and

raised his submachine gun. "Eclipse Barrage Stratum is the most aggressive

of the three. It combines relentless suppressive fire with hyper-precise

execution. Every shot disorients the enemy, and every movement is a setup for a

fatal blow."

He activated a

different training mode. The entire room shifted, turning into a simulated

battlefield. Multiple holographic enemies appeared, taking cover and returning

fire. In a blur of motion, Kyrin dashed forward, firing his submachine gun in a

sweeping arc, suppressing all targets before seamlessly switching to his

pistol. His movements were erratic yet controlled, phasing in and out of cover.

Within seconds,

every enemy in the simulation was eliminated.

The room powered

down, returning to its normal state. Kyrin exhaled, holstering his weapons.

"This style isn't about just shooting. It's about

overwhelming your enemy so completely that they never even get a chance to

fight back."

Senjuro nodded,

understanding the sheer level of skill required to pull off such a technique.

Rin, on the other hand, was grinning. "This is going to be fun."

Kyrin crossed his

arms. "Don't get cocky. Your training starts tomorrow. Get some

rest—you're going to need it."

As Senjuro and Rin

left the underground armory, their minds were racing with what they had just

seen. They had fought powerful enemies before, but now they were stepping into

a whole new world of combat mastery.

And under the guidance of the Firearm Master, they would become deadlier

than ever.
