Chapter Six

Fenrik summoned the bident back into his hands and a golden glow began to surround him. Fenrik suddenly vanished from his position and by the time he had re appeared, 6 of the creatures had already died by his hands.

Some of the creatures ran while others attacked Fenrik. One of the creatures strayed from them and tried attacking adrien. He quickly jumped up amidst the excruciating pain and drove his dagger right between the beast's eyes. It fell down dead instantly. Adrien then heard a message at the back of his mind.

[Congratulations! You have reached level 5][Rewards]

+1 skill "Umbral construct

+1 weapon "Shadow dagger"

+40 shadow energy…..

Quickly reading the description for his new skill, he put it to use by forming a dagger of condensed shadow.

[-10 shadow energy]

He threw it as hard as he could at the closest creature. It dug into it's had and immediately took action, corroding its brains.

[+500 exp]

[+1000/5000 exp]

Adrien glanced at Fenrik and saw him use his bident to kill 5 of the creatures in one swing and tear one of them apart with his claws. Adrien braced himself and by forming constructs being daggers, he threw them at the other creatures and farming enough exp to take him to level eight.

Fenrik finished of the last of the creatures and saw adrien turn to look at him, smile then faint. He rushed, picked him up and sped towards their campsite.
