The two remained silent, watching Rael closely.
"Come on... I won't kill you if that's what you're expecting," Rael said with a sigh. "Think of me as an innocent burglar. I'll leave once I'm healed up, so in just a few hours."
After all, there were no bleeding ailments in the real world. He kind of just bled.
And because of how HP regeneration worked, he was regenerating faster than the blood loss.
Still, he really wished these people would at least pretend to cooperate. It would really make his time here simpler.
That was when the man suddenly stood up and pointed a gun at Rael, glaring fiercely.
Yet Rael didn't even budge as he took out the tattered bag of chips from his pocket and began eating.
"Do you think I won't shoot you?" the man asked.
Rael shrugged. "I'm sure you'd try. Though you might find it a bit difficult."
The man's brows furrowed, and without wasting a moment, he pressed the trigger.
