Godric's Hollow [1st November, 1980]
–Albus Dumbledore–
He stood outside Godric's Hollow, his face set into a heavy frown as he lost yet another family dear to him. Aurors were clearing the site and the nearby areas because of the heavy presence of Dark Magic all around the house.
He sighed as he felt the overwhelming trace left behind by whatever magic was used here, and he did not mean the Killing Curse. No, he was plenty familiar with that brand of magic, unfortunately.
No, the magic of the other brand, of the opposite sort to dark magic, no, that wouldn't be entirely accurate, it was not just light magic, it was holy magic. Somehow a type of magic he had only read about in ancient books was used here, probably the same thing that warded off Tom.
The only question was, who cast it and how?
"Albus, Harry…" he turned to the side to see Minerva in a very sad condition. He sighed, once more, at the loss of the brilliant family, someone who was the very definition of the people he wished to see more of, in Magical Britain.
They followed him, rallied behind him, helped him in any way they could and what did they get? A target painted on their backs. A prophecy that involved their son, something that directly led to their deaths.
He stood there, taking in everything. The Dark Magic, the Holy Magic, the destroyed window on the upper floor, the withered vegetation around the house, the Ministry imposed seal on the property, and the Auror who was about to take a step inside the house.
His eyes narrowed as he flexed his magic.
"A-Albus?"
He ignored Minerva's confused exclamation as he took a single step forward and appeared right in front of the Auror who was about to enter the house where James and Lily Potter gave their life, to get Magical Britain precious few years until Tom returned.
The house where they planned to raise young Harry. The place where he personally oversaw the baptism of Young Harry, blessing him to have a long and healthy happy life. It made sense that his blessing turned into a curse.
After all, what was he, if not a blot on Magical Britain?
Unfortunately, he was all Magical Britain had but from today, he was going to do better, be better. That began with this. He was not about to let the Ministry stooges try and hijack the Potter Legacy.
"S-Sir?" The Auror trembled in his place as the full might of his magical aura was brought to bear.
He leaned down as the man stood frozen in his place, with only his face partially turned to recognise the man standing in front of the auror.
"Auror Rowle, I seem to recall having an understanding with the Ministry about the house and how no one is permitted to get inside. I assume that the orders you received from your masters were contrary to that?" He asked, in a deathly whisper as Cassius Rowle, someone he had known to be a death eater, paled even further at that.
By now, he was sure that everyone had stopped whatever it was they were doing and were paying close attention to him.
Being put on the spot seemed to have awoken some spine in Cassius as he tried to straighten up and speak with a determination that he hadn't expected from the young auror, "I have direct orders from–"
"It doesn't matter whose orders you received, Auror Rowle," He interrupted the man. He was in no mood for this. The country was on the verge of shambles, of being unbridled in the middle of a civil war and the Dark Side, despite losing their Lord, was playing games like this. He continued as the man's face turned an impressive shade of red due to anger and humiliation, "As the Supreme Mugwump, in conjunction with the Minister of Magic, I have invoked the Restricted Site Declaration Act (RSDA). So, without expression permission from both me and the Minister of Magic, none can step foot in the house. So, I will say this again, Auror Rowle, that you have your orders so I would suggest that you follow them. If you wish to do something contrary to that, I would recommend leaving your Auror Badge behind and being on your way."
Multiple gasps resounded behind him as he heard several footsteps come close, probably of the Aurors. He directed one gaze behind him and everyone was rooted on the spot.
He sighed, suddenly way too tired of this, "Your badge, Auror Rowle?" he extended his hand towards the now trembling in anger man.
"Wh-What?" "What is he doing?" "You can't do this!"
"Your badge, Auror? Or do you wish for me to use force?"
"Fine. This isn't over."
"Oh, I am sure it isn't."
…..
….
"Albus, what did you do?" Minerva whispered, tense about the whole situation. She must be feeling confused and yet, he did not have time for this, time for anything actually. His main focus at this point must be Harry and yet, he was having to guard against the actual Aurors trying to raid the home of the ones who gave their lives in exchange for Precious time.
The time that he was going to make proper use of, to make sure that Magical Britain would be inching closer and closer to the type of society that James and Lily would be proud to have their child grow up in.
"Minerva, gather the Order. We have important stuff to discuss."
"O-Okay, headmaster."
He then turned around and looked at the house and the now deserted Cottage, since the Aurors left with Rowle. IT would seem that most of the people on staff that came here were sympathisers to the cause.
Too bad he was not going to let the cause survive from here on out.

Minerva apparated into one of the safehouses that the Order used and rang the bell which was on the dining table, something that would alert each and every member of the Order about an impending important meeting.
She imagined that Albus had something to discuss about the whole incident and his anger and grief about the whole situation had him lashing out at the auror. Granted the man was clearly up to no good but the response from Albus had been very disproportionate, something that the Death Eaters would no doubt use against him in the next political standdown they would inevitably have.
