After having the time of their lives, it was already lunchtime, so inside the mall, Jessica took him to a bento shop.
It was a Japanese restaurant that reflected it's traditional culture. Once inside, they sat near the corner where the lighting was low and soft music played in the background.
After ordering, they began to eat. Jessica fidgeted with her chopsticks, and since there was no spoon or even a fork, he decided to just use his hands.
Seeing this, Jessica was petrified. "Uhh, you don't know how to use chopsticks?" she asked.
Jeff looked at her as if to say, isn't it obvious? but he didn't speak as he just simply nodded his head.
Some of the people inside glanced at him, feeling a bit puzzled. After all, who would eat at a place like this without knowing how to use chopsticks?
But everyone quickly returned their focus to their own food. It wasn't really offensive, and after all, this was the Philippines, not Japan, so it was all good.
