The streets were eerily quiet as Zhou Kai and Lin Mei navigated through the ruins, ash and dust swirling around them. The sun hung low, casting long shadows that danced across the broken buildings. Zhou Kai's grip tightened around his weapon, his senses heightened.

The Apostle... A man who knew about the apocalypse before it began. What is he planning?

Lin Mei followed closely, her face pale and solemn. Zhou Kai glanced at her, his eyes cold and calculating.
