Virat gets a Date

Jeet received a call from Mr. Gandhi a few days later.

" Ranjeet pack your bags and come here. PM will meet you now".

" Yes Sir", he replied.

" Rash I want you to come with me", he said.

" What is this about", she asked.

" Government policy on various fronts. Deepak wants to give reports only to you as and I quote him' She won't morph my words'".

Rash smiled.

" How did he ever get into politics ", she mused.

" The more astonishing fact is his success", said Jeet.

Rash informed her friends and early next morning they left for New Delhi.

Meanwhile

Virat Malhotra was restless. He was a pro at solving puzzles. A child prodigy his grandfather recognised his talent of observation and conclusion. In spite of his royal and rich background at times he would go unnoticed.

" In olden days kings use to patrol in disguise", he once told Virat. " Half a battle is won when they don't know your identity".

At 13 he won the international challenge for puzzles. At that is when Mr. Gandhi noticed him. His father was reluctant to send him to armed forces.

" He is my only son", he said.

His grandfather however was eager.

" His talents must be polished and used. As a king he would just be another figure head", he said.

And Virat delivered. In army he was recruited as a secret agent. And he played his part..PERFECTLY..

Ronjon Banerjee however eluded him.

" Born in a small village in Bengal he became leftist at a young age", he said to Guru.

" Yeah", he replied. " In school".

" The extremism grew in college and he joined many labour unions while in job. Needless to say he was terminated", said Zeeshu.

" He jjoined an extremism gang Lal Salam and disappeared", said Viru. " He was sighted in some rallies and a few left meetings before a major blast they carried out in Guwahati."

" Then he disappeared completely ", said Guru. " Poof".

" Could be dead", asked Zeeshu.

Viru shook his head.

" No my friend. He is in a mission. What mission? No idea. But look at this", he showed them a few posters on left movement.

" These are from local colleges and they mirror his art from college".

" So he disguised as a student or teacher", said Zeeshu.

" This is where I am stuck. I got my people in all these colleges and got nothing", he said rpughly pushing his hairs back.

" Maybe",,,

Ding Dong..

The door bell rang

" That food", asked Viru.

" Along with the distraction ", winked Zeeshu.

" I'll get them", said Guru.

When he returned he had Chanchal with him saw Viru. Along with an attractive boy.

Chanchal wore a cute red fringe top and white pants. Her brown hairs were in a pigtail. She wore red platform heels. Zeeshu smirked.

" Chanchal you look beautiful ", he said.

" Is D. Dr. J. Josef c. Coming too", she asked weakly.

" In five minutes", replied Guru.

" We made a few and ordered few others. And seafood is from Singhania house", said Kash.

" Hello Mrs. Singhania ", Viru lift Chanchal's hand and kissed. " How about a date"?

She froze and moved back in fear. Using Kash as shield she muttered,

" G. G. Ger. Germs".

" See this is what she did", said Viru. " No chick wants to come near me. They all think I have some incurable disease. I am perfectly alright".

" D.did y.you h.have a checkup s.sir", Chi Chi spoke.

" I DON'T NEED A MEDICAL CHECK UP. I NEED TO GET LAID", screamed Virat and Chanchal hid behind Kash.

" Dude if you want to advertise choose print or digital media. Announcing your desperation by screaming in your apartment is kind of embarassing", said Shaun entering the room, " Hello Chanchal ".

" H.h.hello s.sir", said Chi Chi blushing.

Shaun smiled.

" Lunch", he pointed to bags.

" Yeah", she blushed again.

Zeeshan cleared the throat.

" Chanchal let me help you with arranging it", Shaun offered a hand.

Opposite to Virat she immediately took it.They moved to the kitchen.

" I am the pariah" , sulked Viru.

" I heard you were Rash's ex", someone tapped on his shoulder.

He turned to meet the bluest eyes of a young boy. He had golden hairs and was slim and well maintained. Viru had never discriminated in past about whom to bed. He must find other person attractive. And this one was." I won't touch that witch with a 3 feet pole", he replied. " She causes extinction of life I am sure. She is an epidemic. God save us all from her", he said.

" She vomitted on him the literally ", supplied Zeeshu.

Kash burst into laughter.

" I get your fear", he said.

" So is Rash your partner or he is or the alluring Mrs. Singhania ", asked Viru.

" Rash and Chi Chi are like my sisters . We grew up together. I occasionally experiment with Zeeshu but we are not exclusive. Plus he is mad about Rash", said Kash.

" I would prefer not to hear that name but Virat Malhotra ", he offered a hand.

Kash took it. " Kashmir Kaul", he said.

" Lunch is served", declared Shaun.

" I c.cookked p.pasta and p.prawn tikka", said Chanchal.

" I made salad and saffron rice", said Kash.

" For rest thank you Singhania kitchen", said Guru as they started eating.

" Yu entered paintings for that competition ", Shaun asked Chanchal.

" I g.gave one of y.yours in the ch.church. Kash ssays it has d.depth", she said.

" I liked it", he said. " Why did you draw me Chanchal "?

" I.c.could r.relate to y.your m.misery", she said weakly.

" Thanks", he said.

After lunch Viru got a little bold with Kash.

" Can I invite you over for dinner", he said.

" You are really fast", said Kash.

" Read desperate", mocked Guru sipping his coffee.

"My play in Bombay theatre ends by 10. Pick me half an hour later. Your place and use precautions ", warned Kash.

" As you say sir", he winked.

" Its a date", said Kash cheerfully. " Bye darling", he waved.

" You made an impression. I am still hey you dragon's thug for him", said Zeeshu.

" Its s.so e.easy f.for him and R.Rash", said Chanchal looking warily at them.

" Not all fingers are alike Mrs. Singhania", said Guru thoughtfully.

She looked at him meaningfully.

He just shrugged.

" You ready to leave", Zeeshu asked her.

She nodded. Then they left.

" Maybe tonight's date can clear your brains and we can have more insights on Banerjee case", said Shaun.

" Lets hope", said Viru.

Unbeknowst to him the date was going to be a big starting point for his investigations.
