The next morning, the crisp chirping of birds echoed outside the window of the new house.

The pale light of dawn filtered through the curtains, brightening the thirty-square-meter room.

On either side of the bed stood two cabinets—one with a lamp and the other with a vase.

Most notably, a portrait hung on the wall above the bed, depicting a perfect couple, a match made in heaven.

Lin Yongming had woken up at the first light of dawn. Sensing the Blue Silver Emperor's steady breathing, he didn't disturb her and simply waited.

"Hmm…" Before long, the Blue Silver Emperor let out a soft hum and slowly opened her eyes.

She turned her head slightly and saw Lin Yongming propped up on one arm, smiling at her.

"A'Ming, you're up so early," the Blue Silver Emperor said softly.

"I just woke up too," Lin Yongming replied with a gentle nod. He then reached out and tenderly touched her cheek.

"If it weren't for my strong healing abilities, I probably wouldn't even be awake right now. You have no idea how to be gentle. You don't even care about me," the Blue Silver Emperor said, growing more upset as she spoke. She even gave Lin Yongming a few light punches.

"Haha!" Lin Yongming laughed awkwardly. "A'Yin, it's my first time, so I couldn't control myself. I'm sorry, I was wrong."

Lin Yongming quickly apologized, figuring it was the right thing to do.

"Who isn't it their first time? I shouldn't have let you train with the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. Hmph!" the Blue Silver Emperor said with a cute pout.

"Alright, alright, it's my fault. I was just joking earlier," Lin Yongming said, gently holding her to comfort her.

"Seriously, though, for your own good, you need to learn some restraint. I've heard that doing this too much can harm your body. You're still young, and you should focus on your cultivation," the Blue Silver Emperor advised.

"Mm, A'Yin, I'll listen to you. It's still early, let's lie down for a bit longer," Lin Yongming agreed immediately.

"That's more like it," the Blue Silver Emperor said with a satisfied nod, then snuggled into Lin Yongming's arms, closing her eyes slightly.

About an hour later, in the quiet room, Lin Yongming suddenly felt like they had forgotten something important.

"A'Yin, I feel like we've forgotten something," Lin Yongming said, puzzled.

"Have we? What did we forget? What are you talking about?" the Blue Silver Emperor asked, lifting her head in confusion.

"I can't remember what it is, that's why I'm asking you," Lin Yongming said, exasperated.

"Alright, you think about it. I think what we need to do now is get up, tidy the bed, and then go greet your parents," the Blue Silver Emperor said, getting up.

"Oh! I remember now!" Lin Yongming sat up suddenly. "Right, it's about our parents. Remember, we said we'd give them the herbs to extend their lifespan when we were at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well?"

"After we got back, we've been so busy with our engagement that we completely forgot about it," Lin Yongming said, finally realizing.

They had remembered on the way back, but after arriving home, they got caught up in delivering gifts to the villagers and preparing for the engagement. In the hustle and bustle, they had completely forgotten about it.

"Oh! You're right. But it's not too late. I'll brew the herbs like tea and give it to them when we serve tea later," the Blue Silver Emperor said, reminded by Lin Yongming.

"A'Yin, that's a great idea. You're so thoughtful," Lin Yongming said, agreeing wholeheartedly.

The Blue Silver Emperor got up and went into the bathroom. After her shower, she saw Lin Yongming still lying in bed and walked over.

"Alright, get up and go take a shower. I need to tidy the bed," the Blue Silver Emperor said, pulling Lin Yongming up.

She then quickly turned away, avoiding looking at Lin Yongming's body.

"Mm," Lin Yongming said, grabbing his clothes and heading to the bathroom.

While Lin Yongming was in the shower, the Blue Silver Emperor began tidying the bed, including the crumpled bedsheet.

Her face turned red as she noticed a certain stain, but she also smiled sweetly. She quickly changed the bedsheet, her cheeks still flushed.

When Lin Yongming came out of the bathroom, he found the bedroom spotless, with the blankets neatly arranged.

As he stepped into the living room, he was greeted by a sweet, fragrant aroma.

The Blue Silver Emperor was in the side room, stirring something in a pot.

"A'Yin, it smells amazing. Is this the herbal drink for our parents?" Lin Yongming asked, walking up behind her.

"Yes, I used two different spirit herbs, infused with the energy from the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. It has a strong fragrance, but the taste is light and refreshing."

"It just needs to simmer a bit longer to fully release its effects," the Blue Silver Emperor explained as she stirred.

"A'Yin, you're so capable. You're amazing," Lin Yongming said with a grin.

"Stop flattering me. Go get some warm water. I'm worried the potency might be too strong for your parents, so we'll divide this into two portions. They'll drink one in the morning and the other before bed," the Blue Silver Emperor instructed.

She then began filtering out the herb residue.

"Got it," Lin Yongming nodded and went to fetch the warm water.

The Blue Silver Emperor mixed the herbal drink with the water, shaking it until it turned a clear green color.

"Alright, it's ready," she said once it was well-mixed.

"Let's go, then," Lin Yongming said, picking up the tray.

When they arrived at the parents' house, Lin Chong and Ying Lan were happily chatting while preparing breakfast.

"Ming'er, A'Yin, why are you up so early? And what are you carrying?" they asked, puzzled.

"Mom, Dad, we're here to serve you tea," Lin Yongming said with a smile.

"Silly child! Serving tea is for weddings. You're only engaged now," Ying Lan said with a laugh.

"Oh, well, this isn't exactly tea. It's a special herbal drink A'Yin prepared for you. It can extend your lifespan and rejuvenate your appearance," Lin Yongming explained.

"That's right. Ming'er and I found these spirit herbs in a spiritual treasure land in the forest. They can also strengthen your body," the Blue Silver Emperor added.

"Oh, you two are so thoughtful. But I don't need this. You two look radiant and glowing. What your father and I really want is to hold a grandchild soon," Ying Lan said with a smile.

"Mom!" the Blue Silver Emperor blushed. "Ming'er is still young."

"Alright, your mother's just joking. But she's right, this stuff won't do much for us. You two should keep it for yourselves," Lin Chong said with a kind smile.

"Mom, Dad, you've got it wrong. A'Yin and I have already consumed similar herbs. Drinking more won't have any effect on us. So, there's no need to save it for us," Lin Yongming explained.

"That's right. And there's more where this came from. This is just the morning dose. You'll drink another portion before bed. It'll take a few days to fully improve your health," the Blue Silver Emperor added.

"Alright, we can't argue with you two," Lin Chong and Ying Lan said, finally accepting the drink since they didn't want it to go to waste.

"Well, since it's your thoughtful gift, your father and I will drink it after breakfast," Ying Lan said, bringing out the meal.

"Let's eat first. I've made you some chicken porridge," Ying Lan said, smiling at the two of them.

"Ah, thank you, Mom!" the Blue Silver Emperor said, blushing. Under the table, she stepped on Lin Yongming's foot, giving him a look that said, "This is all your fault."

Lin Yongming could only lower his head and eat his porridge, knowing full well it was his doing.

The Blue Silver Emperor's cheeks remained slightly flushed all morning. It wasn't until Lin Chong and Ying Lan had finished their herbal drink and gone out to the yard that she finally relaxed.

"Don't you dare smirk at me. Go back and cultivate," the Blue Silver Emperor said, kicking Lin Yongming lightly.

"Alright, alright," Lin Yongming said, looking sheepish.

After five days, the Blue Silver Emperor finally got used to being around Lin Chong and Ying Lan and wasn't as shy anymore.

During those five days, Lin Chong and Ying Lan had been drinking the herbal concoction prepared by the Blue Silver Emperor, and the effects were visibly remarkable.

The gray hairs at their temples had turned black, as if they had dyed their hair, and the wrinkles around their eyes had diminished, making them look ten years younger.

"Chong'ge, you look so much younger. Your gray hairs are gone," Ying Lan said in surprise.

"A'Lan, you too. Your wrinkles have faded, and your complexion looks so much better," Lin Chong said, equally amazed.

"Mom, Dad, see? We weren't lying," Lin Yongming said happily.

"I have to admit, I feel much stronger now, like my youthful energy has returned. I feel like I could even give you a little brother," Lin Chong joked.

"Stop it! Don't say such things in front of the kids," Ying Lan said, blushing and swatting at him.

"Haha!" Lin Yongming and the Blue Silver Emperor laughed, clearly seeing the improvement in their parents' health.

"A'Yin, thank you," Lin Yongming whispered.

"You're welcome. Besides, your parents are my parents now," the Blue Silver Emperor replied, looking at the two of them fondly.

In the following days, whenever Lin Chong and Ying Lan went for walks in the village, people would ask in surprise, "Did Ming'er's engagement bring you such good fortune? You look so much younger!"

"Oh, it's probably just because we've been so happy lately. That's why we look younger," Lin Chong and Ying Lan would reply.

A month had passed since Lin Yongming and the Blue Silver Emperor's engagement.

One day, Lin Yongming noticed that the Blue Silver Emperor seemed a bit down.

"A'Yin, what's wrong? You seem a little off today," Lin Yongming said, gently hugging her from behind.

"Ming'er, how long has it been since we've seen Sister Rou? I miss her. I wonder how she's doing," the Blue Silver Emperor said softly.

"It's been about three years, hasn't it? I'm sorry, A'Yin. I've kept you away from her for so long," Lin Yongming said, realizing why she was upset.

"Yes, over three years. I don't have many relatives, and Sister Rou is the closest thing I have to family," the Blue Silver Emperor said wistfully.

"A'Yin, it's my fault. I've been so focused on my training that I've kept you away from her for so long."

"How about we go see her tomorrow? We can tell her about our engagement. It'll be like a honeymoon trip," Lin Yongming suggested, feeling a pang of guilt.

He had been so absorbed in his training that he had neglected the fact that the Blue Silver Emperor had someone as dear to her as Sister Rou.

Three years had passed, and he had never taken her back to visit.

"But we only have a few months left before our appointment with Dugu Bo. Shouldn't we wait until you reach level 50?" the Blue Silver Emperor said hesitantly.

"It's fine. I feel like I can break through anytime. But A'Yin, don't forget, Dugu Bo is a Title Douluo. What if Sister Rou hasn't reached the Soul Sage level and entered her mature form yet? Going now would expose her. Plus, we can give her some of the immortal herbs to help her."

"And it's only been two months since we parted ways with Dugu Bo. We still have four months left," Lin Yongming explained.

"Oh! So you know about Sister Rou's identity," the Blue Silver Emperor said, turning to him in surprise.

"Of course. And the little rabbit she carries around is actually her child, right? Has she reached the 100,000-year level yet? Is she planning to take human form like you?" Lin Yongming whispered.

"You even figured out Xiao Wu? Is your mind's eye really that powerful?" the Blue Silver Emperor said, even more surprised.

"Hehe, impressive, right?" Lin Yongming said with a grin.

"You're so full of yourself… Alright, let's go tomorrow. Sister Rou and Xiao Wu should still be in the village. We'll spend a couple of days with them."

"But once we're there, don't mention their identities. I don't want them to feel uncomfortable. Keep it to yourself, understand?" the Blue Silver Emperor warned.

"Yes, ma'am!" Lin Yongming said, standing at attention.

"Oh, stop it," the Blue Silver Emperor said, rolling her eyes.

The next morning, after breakfast, Lin Yongming told his parents that he and the Blue Silver Emperor planned to travel around the kingdom for a bit.

"That's fine. There's nothing much for you to do in the village anyway," Ying Lan said understandingly.

"True, but be careful out there. The world outside the village can be dangerous," Lin Chong advised.

"Mom, Dad, we understand. Don't worry, we'll take care of ourselves. We'll only be gone for ten days or so," Lin Yongming assured them.

"Mom, Dad, goodbye!" the Blue Silver Emperor waved.

After saying their goodbyes, Lin Yongming and the Blue Silver Emperor left the village. At the outskirts, Lin Yongming spread his arms, and the Blue Silver Emperor immediately understood.

Lin Yongming picked her up, and with a flash of purple lightning, his Thunder Wings spread out, carrying them into the sky.
