Jacob woke up

After Jacob fell back on the roof two security guards of the building came for checking the damage caused by lightning strike earlier and found unconscious Jacob near edge. They rushed towards Jacob and checked his vitals and found him unconscious and several burns on his body and his clothes were turned to ashes.

They immediately called ambulance and brought over a blanket to cover him and searched for anything from which the can identify him luckily they found his smartphone and wallet from where he was standing earlier and informed the cops about the incident.

After 5 minutes ambulance and cops came together because police station was rather near the building they brought Jacob to ambulance with the help of assistant ambulance practitioner on stretcher and took him to the hospital.

Cops informed Jacob's parents from his phone they got prior and Jacob's phone doesn't have any strong password protection on his phone so unlocking it was quite easy for them

As the ambulance reached the hospital heavy downpour started for about 10 minutes Jacob was in ICU by that time and doctors were checking him for any internal or head injuries and found out that excluding the burns there were not any other injury on him.

On other side cops were investigating what was Jacob doing on the roof through surveillance camera on roof. They didn't noticed anything strange till Jacob stood up and climbed the safety boundary wall.

When they saw Jacob lifting his leg to take the final step they understood the whole situation but still thought about the reasons due to which Jacob took this drastic measures.

After half an hour Jacob's parents and siblings and some close relatives reached the hospital they asked his whereabouts on reception area and found that their Jacob was in icu.

At that time cops also arrived at hospital and asked receptionist about that if anyone come for Jacob as his parents or relatives and receptionist told them that just about 2 minutes ago they arrived and went towards icu on third floor where Jacob's treatment is going on.

Cops also went there and asked for Jacob's parents to follow them for some questions and telling them about their findings of the incident. When Jacob's parent found out that their son was going to commit suicide the felt sad, angry but mostly sad because they didn't knew why their son took this step.

After cops told them that their son was fortunate and unfortunate at the same time Jacob's farther Ethan clark can't stay quiet and asked why they said so then cops told them about lightning strike on him and how he fell backwards and still was alive he didn't knew how to express what he felt in words and only exclamation came out of his mouth

Hahh!!!...

After knowing this they also felt that their son was quiet lucky. Cops left the hospital after saying that they will come back for further questiong Jacob when he recovers his consciousness and is well rested.

Jacob's parents told whole story to thiers relatives who came to hospital. They didn't hide this from them because they were their only closest relatives who cared about them because Jacob's father and his uncle were blood brothers and Jacob's mom and his aunty his uncle's wife were blood sisters so both family had quite good relations.

After half an hour doctor told Jacob's parents that the treatment is done and he is out of danger but they can't say when will Jacob wake up. Jacob's uncle aunty and his siblings also left the hospital after knowing that Jacob's life is not in danger anymore and they will come back again at night to keep watch on Jacob so that their parents can also get some rest.

At the whole time this was happening Jacob was sitting cross legged in his mind space created by system. He found out that he was sleeping in this space for quiet some time and woke up only 10 minutes ago when doctors were done checking up on him.

He was able to hear ar see what was happening in world with the help of system.

Jacob even though knew about systems through anime, novels, or mangas but was still surprised that such systems which he thought existed only in his imagination will come into hislife in such a crazy way. Though he was watching what was happening but he still didn't got any name of system or any other information about why or how he got the system.

The only information he got was that some information is not allowed to him for time being or his authority level was not high enough and he will get information about system when he will wake up completely in real which will take some time about 6 hours and he knew this information also with the help of system. So Jacob was waiting for time to pass and thinking about what to tell his parents and how will he handle the cops regarding the suicide. Because suicide is not crime in country but being caught after failed suicide attempt is crime in country because they don't value the life and penalized some money and spending some time in jail if reason being not valid enough.

( What a dumb rule I know)

Jacob slowly opened his eyes but instantly closed them again because of flash of light directly incidenting in them after some time his eyes got used to light and saw everyone present in his room. And he heard the familiar chime he heard on rooftop of building and knew it was sound of system and understood that his system also activated officially. But he still didn't know how to face his parents who done so much for him and supported him in every turn of his life
