When me and Aoi returned back to our home, I already knew that the door's lock would be busted. Aoi was quite shocked to see that our home was broken into.
She looked like she had an idea of who it was who broke in. I, of course, knew for sure who it was.
We headed inside and checked for any stolen goods. Nothing was stolen, although the coffee table was broken.
"D-dear... w-we should report this to the police...", she told me frightened.
"Hmm. We will... but not yet.", I replied, much to her dismay.
Reporting this incident would only put me at a disadvantage. The police around here have all been bought out by Takeshi's organisation. They would instead rat us out and pin charges against us, somehow.
"We're gonna go someplace else. Take everything you think you'll need and we'll leave in a few hours.", I instructed Aoi.
She nodded and did what she needed to.
I packed up my laptop, kitchen knives and my black jacket, gloves, boots and trousers. Then, I made sure to pick up the hidden cameras that I had put all over the house that had been recording for a day straight.
We left the house and arrived at a power-tools shop that I had seen beforehand on google.
I purchased a nail gun, a drill, a few boxes of 2-inch nails and a sledgehammer. Aoi was slightly confused as to why I was suddenly purchasing all of this, and I told her it was to make reinforcements in wherever we decided to stay.
She seemed to buy that explanation.
We didn't have a car, so we had to use a taxi instead. I already knew where we were going to stay.
We arrived at the hotel during noon.
"This... looks expensive... do we have the money for this...?", she asked me.
"Our safety is more important than money. This hotel has some of the best security around.", I replied.
I wasn't lying. This hotel was actually managed by the Platinum Security company that Takeshi was the CEO of. I had some plans on what I would do to this hotel...
I had to cough up a lot of money to book a room for a night in the hotel. When they asked for ID, I was concerned that the fake ID I had made wouldn't work, but it seemed that I was concerned for nothing. The skills that I learned from America seemed to work here in Japan too.
We both went into the room we were assigned and Aoi sat down on the bed first.
She looked distressed and conflicted. Just looking at her, I knew she knew who was after us and why.
I decided not to ask her for any explanations.
She noticed this and instead asked me, "What could be happening right now... who would be after us...? Did you... get into some sort of trouble?", she asked fearfully.
"Trouble... Don't worry about it. It's nothing. You should rest now. I'll be back in a bit.", I told her before abruptly leaving the room.
'Yeah... you should rest... After all, you won't be able to sleep at night today...', I thought grimly before leaving the room with the nail gun in my hands.
I was going to blow this hotel to smitherines. Yes, you read that right. My head was hurting from all the rage I was feeling all the time, I had to do this... this was the only way. I was going to kill everything in this hotel... I already made sure that there were no innocent people in this hotel... They're all clients of Takeshi who live in this hotel... I purposefully picked a busy day to come here as well.
All this seemed messy and unplanned, but I couldn't afford to waste any time. I was sure this would work, and even if it didn't, I didn't care. I had to kill them. I had to destroy what Takeshi built.
'I'm doing it again... I can't help it... I need to... they deserve it.', I justified with myself.
If this was America, I'd have already killed so many of them with guns... too bad this is Japan...
Anyhow, I had to prepare the explosives. The hotel's gas pipe was located inside the basement. I needed to infiltrate the hotel's maintenance rooms and locate the exact place where gas and electricity were supplied to the whole building.
I didn't bother going into the blind spots of the CCTV cameras as I left the hotel building.
I went into the street and started walking towards a construction site. I found it, just as Google Maps had told me.
I spotted a lone worker smoking a cigarette in the back. I walked up to him from behind and put him in a triangle choke. The old man fainted in a few dozen seconds. I quickly took his clothes and put his unconscious body in a garbage bin.
I wore the construction clothes and headed back into the hotel.
I still had the nail gun in my hand when I entered the hotel.
The receptionist looked at me weirdly and asked where I was going.
"I was called here today for a repair in the maintenance room... Could I speak with the security team of the building?"
The man looked at me sceptically and began to dial the phone to the security number.
He dialled the phone and called the security.
After exchanging a few words, he nodded to me and gave me the instructions to go to the security room where I'd meet the security team.
I smiled and nodded before heading off to the security room.
