CHAPTER 4:THE FIGHT FOR HUMANITY

Chapter 4: The Fight for Humanity

The decision had been made.

With their newfound powers, Hikaru and his group vowed to save humanity—no matter what it took. Their journey led them to Tokyo's Shibuya Crossing, a place that was once filled with life but now stood as a battlefield of oppression.

As they approached, a horrifying sight unfolded before them.

Aliens filled the streets, treating "worthy" humans as slaves. These unfortunate souls were shackled, their eyes empty, their bodies forced into servitude. The aliens barked orders, striking down anyone who resisted.

Hikaru clenched his fists. His blood boiled at the sheer cruelty before him.

"They're treating them like animals," Toma growled, flames flickering around his hands.

"Not for long," Kaito said, his voice sharp as the wind swirling around him.

Without hesitation, the group rushed into battle.

The Battle for Shibuya

The aliens turned, startled, as Hikaru's team attacked with relentless force.

Toma's fireballs scorched the air, setting enemy ranks ablaze.

Hiroshi slammed his fists into the ground, causing massive earthquakes that cracked the pavement.

Ryo's ice spears froze aliens mid-step, shattering them into pieces.

Kuroshin blended into the shadows, striking from the darkness like a silent assassin.

Takeshi summoned waves of water, crashing against the aliens like an unrelenting tide.

Within minutes, the once-dominant alien oppressors lay defeated on the broken streets. The enslaved humans, however, remained motionless, their eyes clouded over.

Something was wrong.

Suddenly, one of the humans—a man in tattered clothes—lunged at Takeshi and punched him square in the chest.

"What the hell?!" Takeshi stumbled backward.

"They're… fighting back?" Asahi gasped.

"They're not in control of their own bodies," Kaito realized, eyes darting to their wrists.

That's when Ryo noticed it. A small, red glowing chip embedded deep into the enslaved human's wrist.

Without thinking, Ryo pulled out a knife. With a swift motion, he dug the chip out.

The moment it left the man's body, his breath hitched. His dull, lifeless eyes regained their light.

"I… I can think again…" the man gasped, collapsing to his knees.

The realization hit like a storm.

The chips were controlling them.

Hikaru looked at the others. "We can save them."

No more hesitation. Everyone grabbed knives, broken glass—anything sharp enough—and began removing chips from the enslaved humans.

Painful screams filled the air, but one by one, the people woke up. Confusion, relief, and horror filled their faces as they slowly realized what had happened to them.

The group had done it. They had freed the first survivors.

A Mysterious Arrival

Just as they were catching their breath, a loud humming noise echoed from above.

A black helicopter hovered over Shibuya, its rotor blades slicing through the sky.

The group tensed, preparing for another fight. But instead of an attack, a rope ladder dropped down from the aircraft.

A girl descended, landing gracefully before them. She had short silver hair, sharp amber eyes, and a confident smirk.

"How the hell did you survive this long?" she asked, her voice filled with curiosity.

Toma raised his hand, summoning a burst of flames as an answer.

The girl's eyes widened slightly before a grin spread across her face. "Superhumans, huh?"

Hikaru stepped forward. "And who are you?"

The girl crossed her arms. "Emi. And you just made things a lot more interesting."

New Allies, New Powers

The helicopter landed, and five more people emerged.

Emi introduced them one by one:

Akari – A girl with magnetism manipulation.

Kiyoshi – A strong, towering figure with strength manipulation.

Akito – A stealth expert with invisibility powers.

Shinji – A quiet yet calculating fighter with teleportation abilities.

Emi, their leader, wielded the power of weapon and barrage creation.

Hikaru took a deep breath. More people with powers? He wasn't expecting this.

"The world's gone to hell," Emi continued, "but we've been keeping survivors hidden. If you're serious about saving humanity, you should come with us."

She turned to Kaito. "You control wind, right? Carry everyone. We're heading to our base."

Kaito smirked. "Hope you're not afraid of heights."

With a single motion, a powerful gust of wind surrounded the group. One by one, they were lifted into the air, soaring toward the unknown.

A Safe Haven… And New Weapons

They landed in a hidden underground base, untouched by the devastation above.

To ensure the safety of the rescued humans, Emi used her barrage creation ability to construct an unbreakable barrier around the shelter.

"We'll be safe here," she reassured them.

Then, with a wave of her hand, weapons materialized before them.

Swords, axes, and spears appeared in midair, each crafted with expert precision.

Takeshi, wielding water, chose dual blades to complement his fast attacks.

Kuroshin, master of shadows, picked a pair of daggers.

Hiroshi, strong as the earth itself, took a warhammer.

Asahi, with his metal control, simply imagined a weapon—and a massive, impossibly heavy hammer materialized in his hands.

Emi finally turned to Hikaru. "What do you want?"

Hikaru stepped forward, staring at the sword before him. It radiated with an aura of pure energy, almost like it was alive.

"This one," he said, gripping the hilt.

Emi raised an eyebrow. "Got a name for it?"

Hikaru smirked. "Nova."

A Dark Conspiracy

Far from the underground base, in the shadows of an abandoned skyscraper, a conversation took place.

A man stood before an alien general, his silhouette barely visible in the dim light.

"The humans are resisting," the alien growled.

The man chuckled, his voice eerily calm. "Of course they are. That's what makes it fun."

The alien narrowed its eyes. "You will get your chance to prove your worth. We cannot afford further disruptions."

The man smirked. "Oh, don't worry." He turned, stepping into the darkness. "Everything is going exactly as I planned."

To be continued…
