The unidentified girls were left alone in the cell for just over six hours. Completely unmoving for the entire period which quite frankly creeped the police captain out as he could attest to this fact implicitly. He's been watching the Werewolf through the cell bars and also been watching the security feeds on and off on his tablet whenever he was needed elsewhere within the police station for other duties.
These cameras were linked separately away from the standard police feeds just in case something supernatural like this occurred. Since the police captain was the only one in the precinct who was aware of Werewolves and other things that go bump in the night, he needed somewhere secluded to hide the supernatural creatures from the rest of the world.
A sound managed to break through the Tribrid's powerful senses as she heard a steady 'thud, thud, thud ' of a new and intriguing heartbeat that entered the police station. Hope didn't move a muscle outwardly but her ears twitched as she tracked the heartbeat as it made its way further into the police station.
Hope still couldn't distinguish voices but she could feel a vague threat approaching her and the scent of wolfsbane covering the scents of the others who just arrived. The cell door opened with a loud squeaky swing as the joints on the cell door had not been used frequently as the hinges hadn't been oiled in quite a long time.
The powerful heartbeat that was invading Hope's senses until it was practically right on top of her.
Silver, forests and moonlight .
Hope's Witch side was suddenly building up with a new type of magic that came from out of nowhere and it had absolutely nowhere to go. This feeling intrigued Hope something fierce but her body was still in her own enforced lockdown to protect Daphne.
Hope couldn't hear what was going on around her but she assumes that a man was talking, possibly trying to ask her questions as he tried to manoeuvre the Tribrid's body with no success.
Another voice spoke which was clearer than anything else Hope has heard in this world and it made Hope's heart speed up. "Dad? What's wrong with them?"
"Well it's the Werewolf we are here for. The blonde on the bottom was declared dead. She has no heartbeat." The girl's father replied.
"That's terrible." The girl with the alluring heartbeat remarked.
Hope tilted her head ever so slightly in the direction of the voice attached to the heartbeat she was hearing, earning a gasp from the girl standing above her.
"Dad, the brunette on the top just moved. Admittedly it was barely a tilt of her head but she moved." She pointed out as she moved closer.
A male voice, most likely the girl's father, was getting clearer as he replied. "Get back Allison! We don't know what type of Werewolf she is yet."
Allison's dark brown eyes narrowed as she looked down at the two girls. Both equally as stunning as the other, especially if the blonde was still alive. Either of them could've easily posed as models or entrepreneurs if they truly wished to.
"She's a Werewolf that needs help." Allison stated in powerful determination.
"I've already made too many mistakes recently when it comes to Werewolves. I'm not going to make anymore. Besides, what can cause a Werewolf to attach themselves to a human like this?" Allison explained with guilt coating her words.
Chris Argent sighed before sucking in a worried breath as the answer came to him. "Soulmates."
The dark brown haired girl immediately looked over to her father as she tried to clarify what he meant. "Don't you mean an 'anchor'?" Recalling the word that Scott had used when describing his bond and relationship with her.
The Hunter shook his head. "No. An 'anchor' helps a Werewolf retain control if they haven't learned to master that ability on their own. A Soulmate is exactly that, a Werewolf that completely bonds with another person. This person doesn't have to be human, their Soulmate can also be supernatural. But Soulmates are unbelievably rare."
Chris squatted down to the Werewolf girl's level as he appraised the Wolf's absence from the current events taking place around her. "The Wolf most likely won't survive until morning."
Allison looked down to her father with a shocked and confused expression on her face.
Chris noticed his daughter's confusion and expanded on his statement in an effort to keep his daughter up to date on the supernatural world. "Werewolves who lose their Soulmate feel their loss too greatly and the Wolf shuts down their body until they die."
Allison was appalled learning that the Wolf girl was dying. She moved around her father as she knelt down next to the pair, observing them. Much to her father's disapproving hard glare for ignoring his earlier warning to stay away from the Werewolf.
The Huntress felt an increasingly strong urge to touch the Werewolf, almost like it was singing in her blood. An undeniable pull drawing her closer and closer to the pair.
Allison carefully reached forward as her father cleared his throat in an attempt to dissuade his daughter from touching the Werewolf. The raven haired girl seemingly ignored her father as she slowly placed her dominant right hand on the brunette's shoulder.
Allison shuddered at the immediate touch. It felt like lightning coursing through her veins. Allison sucked in a harsh breath at the captivating sensation.
Alternatively, Hope felt like thunder crashed through body and her magic awakened with the force of a raging fire breaking through the barrier that was keeping her immobile.
A crack of thunder echoed through the police station and Hope finally took notice of the world around her as her head rose slowly and stiffly. Deep-red light was streaming in from the tiny window opposite to the cell.
"What the hell!?" Chris called out as he noticed the red light for a short moment as the sky quickly turned back to normal.
Hope realised that her magic was leaking out in unsteady waves as she heard the familiar thunder and noticed the light from apocalyptic red skies leaking into the small room.
The Tribrid was able to bring her magic back inside herself and placed a magical shield around her body in an effort to contain her power until she would have an opportunity to release her magic later without the fear of hurting anyone.
Especially considering her newest soulmate was standing right in front of her.
The brunette's burning amber eyes locked onto the hand on her shoulder in amazement as her Witch side internally screamed in satisfaction at being united with 'her' chosen soulmate.
Allison felt eyes on her causing her to look at the girl's face in fascination.
Hope turned to face the enthralling raven haired girl as her golden amber eyes shined brightly at the youngest Argent. They began to take on a reddish tint, turning the Wolf's eyes an astonishing burning orange colour and dark veins crawled down from her eyes to her cheeks,
A colour that Allison had never seen before. The Huntress now understood why Jean was confused about this Werewolf. Orange eyes with black veins under their eyes was not a normal Werewolf eye colour.
However before Allison could voice her observation to her dad the brunette girl's hands moved faster than her eyes could perceive. Hope gripped Allison's wrist lightly but firmly as she pulled the Huntress' hand towards the blonde beneath them. Allison could hear the click of her father's gun as he reacted to the sudden action the Wolf girl made.
Hope's Witch side acted on her own accord while augmenting her other two sides superspeed into moving the raven haired girl's hand gently down to Daphne's body.
The moment Allison's hand came into contact with the blonde's shoulder a loud gasp sounded through the room. The blonde's bright pale blue eyes opened and her body shot up slightly just moments before Daphne groaned in pain and collapsed back down to the ground, her right hand immediately moving to cover the wound above her heart.
"Holy shit!", "What the fuck!" Chris and Jean exclaimed in shock as the police captain pulled his gun and pointed it at the blonde girl hidden behind Allison's body and under the brunette's body.
Hope's entire being came back to life as soon as Daphne's heart began beating again. Hope felt her wife's pain and suffering from the wounds she obtained against Malivore. The blonde witch was in shock and her magic was doing whatever it could to try to heal herself but she couldn't concentrate on healing herself properly against the pain.
Hope noticed the problem immediately with her Werewolf Mate but she couldn't let go of Allison either so the brunette shifted her body over Daphne so she was kneeling over the blonde. The sharp movement of Hope moving so suddenly out of her stiff and unmovable position, had all of Hope's muscles and bones popping loudly.
Hope was holding Allison's hand against Daphne's shoulder, connecting all three of them together as she lifted her free hand over the blonde's body, just over her heart where the largest amount of damage was done to the Ice Witch. The Tribrid let a large amount of her magic flow out of her freely, using Perenelle's lessons on Healing magic to release the build up of magic that Hope had accumulated over time. Hope's hand glowed with a bright white light and visibly started to heal the blonde' wounds.
Daphne's breathing slowly began to settle into a more natural rhythm. The Slytherin Ice Queen swallowed the saliva that built up in her dry mouth and shifted slightly under Hope's presence.
However Daphne partially froze at the hand on her shoulder as she knows that this hand doesn't belong to Hope. This hand was longer with thinner fingers and Daphne felt the calluses on the palm, thumb as well as index and middle fingers. The same calluses that Daphne had herself from her years wielding a bow.
Ice-blue eyes opened quickly as she took in the two shapes looming over her. One which was extraordinarily familiar and unmistakable to Daphne, Hope. For the other person, Daphne could feel in her bones and soul that this ivory skinned dark haired beauty above her was another one of their soulmates. Most likely their archer from the quick observation Daphne noted upon waking.
"Hi." Daphne managed to squeak out hoarsely through her dry and unused mouth as she cracked a flirty smile in the Huntress's direction.
Allison blinked as her jaw dropped open in utter disbelief. The dead girl, who was declared dead by a police officer came back to life and then spoke to her directly after a Werewolf's hand glowed, seemingly healing the blonde girl. Nothing about the past few moments made any sense to Allison.
"Allison! Get back now!" Chris called out authoritatively with a strong voice. At her father's shout Allison followed her body's newly developed natural instincts from her Hunter's training that her family had made her endure over the past 6 months.
Firstly with her aunt who wanted to force Allison into a very narrow minded perspective of being a Hunter. Then her father and grandfather took over after her aunt's death by Peter Hale clawing out her throat.
Hope felt the moment when Allison started to move away from her and Daphne. Twisting her wrist and wrenching her arm away forcibly from them. The Tribrid, not wishing to accidentally harm her Witch soulmate, released the delicate wrist before the movement would break her arm.
Allison skidded across the ground as she remained low, shuffling out the cell door and behind her father. As Allison rose to her full height behind her father she pulled a couple of short curved daggers out from some hidden sheaths at the small of her back. The daggers had a hole embedded in the handles allowing her to twirl the small blades around her index fingers a few times before gripping them tightly and moving into a fight ready stance.
Once Allison removed her hand from the Emrys couple the Wolf girl's eyes reverted back to Hope's natural sea-blue eyes. Her eyes widened as she finally took in Allison and her father for the first time and her jaw dropped open as she recognised the father-daughter duo.
"Holy shit!" The Tribrid muttered under her breath as her eyes remained on Allison in utter shock.
Daphne on the other hand pushed herself up into a sitting position and pivoting on her ass as she leaned against Hope's powerful form and stared up at Allison in amazement.
The blonde wanted to call the ravenette back to them as she instantly felt a shift in her magic as Allison moved away. However the Ice Witch stopped herself from speaking as she heard Hope's swear and the flood of emotions and images storming through her mind's eye from her bond with Hope.
Daphne turned away from who she believes to be one of hers and Hope's soulmates to face Hope with an increasingly questionable look on her articulate face. Trying to catch up on her wife's jumbled thoughts that were flashing across the back of her eyes as echoes of Allison's voice vibrated in the back of her ears.
"I just saw my boyfriend turn into a Werewolf." A stunned Allison murmured to herself as she contemplated her relationship with Scott McCall.
"That was fun! Any more lethal weapons you want to try out?" Another voice, Lydia, called out in the middle of a forest with an impressive amount of sass that Lizzie would be proud of.
"There's no such thing as fate." Allison remarks confidently. "There's no such thing as Werewolves." Scott counters just as easily with a smile similar to that of a puppy.
"Is this how we are going to do father-daughter talks from now on?" A rather pissed off Allison practically shouted at her father after breaking free of her restraints that her father was responsible for placing her in. "No. This is how we're going train you." Her father replied leaning against the car with a smirk on his face.
"It's ok. It's ok." Allison repeated as her breathing slowed dangerously. "It's ok, it's perfect. I'm in the arms of my first love. The first person I ever loved. The person I'll always love. I love you, Scott. Scott McCall." The same kid with the scruffy hair from before was cradling Allison's dying body to his chest as he tried so hard to pull Allison's pain away. "I can't take your pain." Scott cried as he kept trying to use his Werewolf abilities. "That's because it doesn't hurt." Allison whispered as her eyes started to lose the strength to stay open and her breaths became laboured and difficult.
Daphne whimpered as she sucked in a wet sob from the visions Hope inadvertently showed her, before the Mikaelson girl quickly slammed a door on the bond in order to cut off the images that she was broadcasting.
However, one more scene flashed in the blonde's mind before Hope could block her wife out of her mind.
"We're going to have a new code." Allison states with absolute conviction as she locks eyes with her father before speaking in fluent French. " Nous protégeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protéger eux-mêmes."
Chris translated the French phrase aloud with an amazed and proud expression on his face. "We protect those who cannot protect themselves."
Hope flinched slightly as she felt Daphne's sadness about being blocked out by Hope's reluctance to share her knowledge of this universe. The Tribrid realised her mistake and released her oppressive grip on the soulbond between them but pulled her rarely used Occlumency shields up in her mind to block out Daphne without hurting her through the bond.
" Can you let me explain those images once we are alone? Hopefully after I can completely confirm if this actually is the same universe those memories belong to… We're in another universe Daph and if Aunt Freya, Lizzie and Luna are right we're possibly in a parallel or alternate universe of the one that I had watched in a TV show from the late 2000's to early 2010's!" Hope communicated silently with Daphne in a monotone voice that was affected by Hope's Occlumency.
Daphne was experiencing a mixture of powerful and conflicting emotions. Her shock and surprise from returning back to life after dying from Malivore's attack.
Although, the Flamels, Freya, Hope and Luna had all theorised that if Daphne died she wouldn't remain dead. But hearing it and experiencing it were 2 very different things.
The amazement and bewilderment from meeting her second soulmate. Daphne nor Hope were truly expecting to meet another soulmate for quite some time. They were hoping to get the Wizarding World under control before heading off back to Hope's, Freya's and Lizzie's universe and time period. After settling things in Hope's universe the pair would've set out into other universes to look for their soulmates.
But to be painfully ejected out of the Wizarding World, Daphne's universe, by an enemy Hope was practically positive she had killed 6 years ago. To Malivore showing up in her world and attacking them in the public streets of Paris. Killing Daphne and with his death throwing them into yet another universe as well as another time, only to be greeted by one of their missing soulmates. Literally within the first day.
It was unbelievable. Hell it should be impossible… Unless Hope and Daphne were able to somewhat guide the distortion in the space-time continuum to somewhere that they would be safe.
Now that thought had Hope's mind racing at a mile per second. The blonde's slight betrayal and anger at Hope for blocking her out of her mind was quickly dissipating after her lover promised to talk to her later.
However the shockwave of her wife's thought process highly concerned the Ice Witch as her ice-blue eyes widened drastically as she observed Hope for a few moments before calling upon her own Occlumency shields to quietly and subtly process her wife's theory on how they ended up here.
Another thing that Daphne also noted was that she felt Hope's guilt and worry moments before Hope was able to utilise her stoic mask. Then there was her own sadness from being ripped from her universe without being able to say goodbye to her mum or her beloved little sister, Astoria.
Daphne used her thumb to trace along the inside of her palm and fingers as she felt for her ever-present rings. The blonde simultaneously felt along both her hands noting the familiar warmth of the rings at the base of both her index fingers. The Emrys Consort ring on her right index finger and her Head of House ring, the Greengrass ring on her left index finger. Then her engagement ring on her left ring finger. Daphne made a pleased sigh through her entire body language.
The last thing Daphne learned from Hope's powerful and unintentional flash of memories and emotions was her fear and worry as she looked between her soulmates and the man in front of her newest soulmate with what she summarised was a gun and immediately recognised him from Hope's memories as Allison's father, Chris Argent.
Allison watched as the two girls moved in sync as they stood up and raised their hands in surrender, looking at her father for a moment before returning their attention back to her.
Awe was visible on their faces, observing her like she was the 8th Wonder of the World.
The ravenette was at war with herself as she couldn't take her russet-brown eyes off the Werewolf and newly resurrected blonde woman in front of her.
"Who are you and how did you come back to life?" Chris called out as he angled his body to cover his daughter, noticing the way both of the girls were following Allison's movements.
Hope and Daphne shared a quick side-eye as they wondered what to tell them.
The truth, which Hope wanted to avoid, afraid of Chris' reaction to their story and their unbreakable bond with his daughter which Hope mentally informed her wife that it would be like purposefully botching a Potion and setting the classroom on fire for shits and giggles. Or they could lie. Daphne mentally told her wife that this would be a terrible idea as Allison would always second guess everything they say because they lied during their first meeting.
The Tribrid's face scowled at the example Daphne had given her, practically cementing the idea of them telling the Argents some truths about themselves but maybe not everything all at once.
Hope clenched her fists at her sides in annoyance before relenting at Daphne's mental insistence to tell them the truth. Every truth.
The brunette grumbled through their bond saying that she'll only tell the truth if they ask specific things that don't relate to either of their worlds and answer with vague but accurate responses. Daphne relented to Hope's conditions, seeing as the truth, especially the truths that Hope and Daphne possess are uniquely hard to explain and prove.
Sea-blue eyes narrowed in on the police captain whom Hope honestly forgot was even in the room.
Daphne lifted her head with an air of confidence and squinted her icy eyes at the man as she silently thanked Hope and her aunt for teaching her magic from their universe. The blonde gave a little smirk as she gave a swoosh of her hand, magically flinging the guns that Chris and the officer were holding into the far wall, surprising both of the men.
A pleased smirk twitched to life in the corner of Hope's lips as she watched her wife use her wandless magic to disarm both of the men in the room.
Before either man could comprehend what had just happened Daphne had closed her hand into a fist before making a dropping motion, muttering a spell under her breath. " Ad somnum. "
Jean's eyes rolled into the back of his head as he fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
"Whoa! What did you just do?" Chris called out as he reached for another weapon.
Daphne saw the movement and held up her hand as though she was making a stopping hand motion and sighing as she called out, " Immobulus. " Freezing him in place instantly.
"Dad!?" Allison called out in concerned worry as she shifted her body between her father and the mysterious girls who remained inside the cell, going as far as to back up towards the furthest wall away from the father-daughter duo. To give Allison some sense of security and not feel overwhelmed by their powerful presence.
"Allison! I can't move! Get out of here, now!" Argent ordered with fear in his tone as he struggled to move against the invisible restraints holding his body in place.
"We're not going to hurt you." Hope mentioned as calmly as she could as she held her hands up placatingly to show she means no harm. Daphne was subtle but quick to copy Hope's stance to show her innocence as she followed her wife's lead without question.
"Allison, go! Now!" Chris ordered his daughter again.
The ivory skinned girl stood her ground and remained in front of her father as she whispered over her shoulder, keeping a close eye on the girls in the cell. "I'm not going to leave you alone dad."
"What do you want?" Allison called out as she brought her daggers in front of her in an offensive stance.
"To answer your questions Allison." Hope answered directly with a small disarming smile.
Daphne cleared her throat slightly as her body was slowly restoring the damages to her body. Including the saliva that built up in her mouth from the unrelenting dryness of not breathing or moving for over 6 hours, at least according to Hope's sketchy recount of the time she was dead.
"It's a really complicated story… I'll release your father from my hold if he promises not to pull another weapon on myself or Hope." Daphne offered pacifyingly to the other girl in the room.
The ravenette did a quick double take towards the blonde as she heard the undistorted accent of the undoubtedly British girl.
"Allison. Don't!" Chris growled warningly under his breath.
Allison tensed up as her hands gripped the daggers tighter, turning her knuckles white at the strain. The ravenette clenched her teeth as she considered her choices. "What's to stop either of you from attacking us?"
Daphne blinked.
The Tribrid gave a small smile, bobbing her head in understanding. It was just as Hope expected from Allison. From a Hunter. Hope would also be questioning their motives too if she were in Allison's position.
"You have a point there, love. Unfortunately the only thing we can offer is a similar promise of not attacking either of you… I suppose it will be left as a question of honour between us." Hope said as she motioned with her right hand and Chris fell forward as he was released from the invisible force holding him before catching himself.
Allison blushed lightly before looking back towards her father as she noticed that the brunette had somehow released Chris with a flick of her wrist.
The ivory skinned girl lowered her weapons slowly, holding them at her sides with the blades facing behind her as though an unknown realisation crossed her mind suddenly. "Why do I have a strange feeling that both of you are more powerful than you are letting on and that we have no chance of winning."
Argent frowned at his daughter's words as he examined the room, quickly noticing that by the time the unknown girls had stood up, knocked Jean unconscious somehow and froze him on the spot, the door that led to the rest of the police station was no longer there. The door had simply vanished.
Chris scooted over to his friend and felt for a pulse.
"He's fine. Just asleep." The brunette's voice called out as he noticed her watching him.
The Hunter stood to his full height as he angled most of his body in front of his daughter to protect her from the danger in front of them. Chris' hands were itching for a weapon but he was choosing out of obligation and honour to not draw out his spare piece near his ankle.
"Where's the door?" The stern man queried with a raise of his eyebrow, causing Allison's head to pop up in confusion and looked behind her for the door which was mysteriously gone.
"What the -" Allison almost blurted out before stopping herself and turning back to face the girls in the cell. "What happened to the door?"
Daphne looked over to Hope with a meaningful glance, practically shouting that the door disappearing was because of the Tribrid. Hope did nothing to disprove the suspicious accusation.
"That was me. I'll bring back the door after we explain some things." Hope admitted with a shrug.
"Like what?" Chris and Allison questioned together before Chris turned back to his daughter, shaking his head slightly, basically telling her to remain quiet and let him ask the questions.
"Well, for starters we are not from this universe." Hope answered as she crossed her arms over her chest taking a strong stance in front of the Hunters while Daphne looked between the Hunter Duo.
Both of the Argents blinked in surprise as Allison couldn't stop herself from making an unconscious remark. "I have to admit, I wasn't expecting that."
Chris sighed under his breath in exasperation, wishing that Allison would stop interacting with these two girls.
Hope and Daphne smirked at the expressions on the father-daughter duo. "I can attest to that. When Hope told me that she wasn't from my universe as well, it was a bit of a shock."
Allison and Chris furrowed their brows as they turned to the blonde in confusion.
The brunette gave a small chuckle at the Argents reaction. "Before you ask, yes. I'm from a different universe to Daphne. This is the second time I've been thrown throughout the multiverse… and conveniently also throughout time… Again."
Daphne's head shot around to face her wife, shock clearly evident in her voice. "I'm sorry… Did you just say that we time travelled?"
Hope pursed her lips together as she tapped her fingers against the metal of the cell she was currently residing in to give her something to do as she tried to keep her emotions in check.
"... Yeah… I believe it's about July or August of 2011." Hope basically groaned out against her will as she glanced over to the Argents for some sort of indication to confirm which month they were in.
"We've jumped 15 years into the future as well as a new universe." Hope added with an exasperated sigh.
"Bloody hell." Daphne threw her head back in frustration as her English accent shined through strongly with the familiar swear.
"You can't seriously expect us to believe this outlandish story." Argent exclaimed with disbelief etched into his voice. "Really? Universal travel and time travel?" Argent laughed as he shook his head.
The corner of Hope's mouth quirked up in a tiny smirk. "Not really. At least not without proof."
Hope turned to Daphne as she motioned for the blonde to explain her universe. The Ice Witch had a partially irritated look on her face as she realised what Hope was doing by having her explain her world first.
Daphne sighed as she looked up at Allison. "According to Hope, my universe is apparently very popular, so popular in fact, that in Hope's universe my world is in books and movies, usually under ' Harry Potter and… '" "What? ' And the Sorcerer's Stone '?" Allison interrupted with a scoff of cynicism.
The witch pair blinked as they heard that terminology. Hope had a moment of clarity as she made an "ooh" sound as she realised why the name sounded familiar. Whereas the blonde tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Sorcerer's Stone?"
Hope turned to face her Ice Queen soulmate so she could explain the difference for her wife. "There was an adaptation when the book was released in America. Americans published the book as ' Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone '. The rest of the world released it as ' Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone '."
A small frown appeared on the blonde's face. "In that case, why do you use 'Philosopher's Stone'?" Daphne questioned with a quizzical look on her face.
Hope shrugged nonchalantly as she answered with a bittersweet smile. "Uncle Kol got me first edition books from England and they sat on my bookcase for years. The title is practically engraved on the back of my eyelids."
"First edition? Those would've been expensive." Chris pointed out almost dismissively.
"Hope's family is rich." Daphne answered with a roll of her eyes as she fought the urge to beat the older man over the head for being so paranoid.
The brunette shook her head in amusement. "So is Daphne's family, but we are getting off point."
"Right… So like I mentioned I'm from this ' Harry Potter ' universe. Although I would prefer to use the term ' Hogwarts ' universe considering that Hope over here messed with the timeline drastically. Harry wasn't the main character in my universe. Hope's introduction made her the main character, much to her annoyance." Daphne continued with a verbal jab to her wife as she stuck her thumb in the brunette's direction.
Hope offered a slight glare towards the blonde before turning back to Allison and Chris, adding in a little explanation. "I have a terrible habit according to my friends and family. Apparently I have a saviour complex tied into protecting my loved ones. Where I will do anything to protect them including sacrificing myself, at least that is what my best friend from my universe says."
"You really need to stop taking what Lizzie says to heart. You know she says that because she cares about you in her unique and roundabout way." Daphne told her wife as she placed her hand on Hope's shoulder softly.
Allison and Chris shared looks of complete disbelief which Daphne had noticed and raised an eyebrow as she looked over to her wife. "What did you say was one of the most identifiable spells from my universe, darling? The Patronus Charm?"
"It's definitely one of the most known and visible charms except for the small problem that No-Maj can't see a Patronus . So unless you'd like to use an Unforgivable Curse or Harry's favourite, Expelliarmus ?" Hope answered with a smug smirk at her dig at The-Boy-Who-Lived.
Daphne pursed her lips together as she tried not to react to Hope's teasing. The blonde witch flicked her dominant right wrist, summoning her Pure Ice DragonStone pine wand to her hand, surprising the Hunters as Allison brought the daggers up in defence.
The Emrys couple had noticed the movement but took no offence to the 17 year old ravenette wishing to protect herself and her father.
"Well then it's a good thing that we learnt from the best when it comes to summoning our Patroni ." A small smirk in the corner of Hope's mouth appeared at the mocking remark from her wife as the blonde made another quick little dig.
"After all darling, wasn't it you who always told us that we can make impossible things happen if we just overpower the spell since we have the excess magic to do so?" Hope glared half-heartedly at her Ice Witch before narrowing her eyes in a familiar and predatory way that had Daphne flustered.
Lady Greengrass managed to regain her composure quickly from Hope's wordless teasing, calling on some of her Occlumency training to hide her arousal. Daphne moved her wand slowly and delicately into her fingers as she angled her body off to the side so she was no longer facing the Argents as she held her wand out in front of her. " Expecto Patronum ."
A wispy white-blue smoke nearly exploded out of Daphne's white-coloured wand as the Ice Witch's wily and excited fox made little laughing noises as the solid pearl Patronus jumped around the cell.
Chris' eyes widened and his jaw dropped as he breathed out. "There's no way… This is impossible."
The Fox's ears perked up at the sound of someone talking and noticed the young girl outside of the cell walls as it quickly realised the significance of the ivory skinned girl wielding twin ring daggers. The Patronus Fox yipped loudly as it darted out of the jail cell with an impressive burst of speed before stopping immediately in front of the female Hunter. Basically sitting on Allison's toes as the Fox brushed its angular face roughly against the girls' defined calf muscles as it made happy, little chattering noises.
Allison was understandably flabbergasted when an actual Patronus emerged from what appears to be a wand in the blonde's hand. She was even more shocked when the iridescent Fox came out of the cell and perched itself on her feet, poking at her legs as though it wanted to be petted.
Against her father's wishes and her own instincts, she sheathed her blades and knelt down to one knee. Her hand hovering over the Fox as though she didn't know whether she should touch it or even if the Fox could be touched since it was made out of magic.
However instead of waiting for the girl to reach out and pet the Patronus , the Fox used Allison's leg as a step as it pushed its head into Allison's waiting hand. Allison gasped at the feeling of soft fur between her fingers.
Hope and Daphne smiled at the interaction between the young Huntress and Daphne's powerful magic.
"Wow! It's so soft." Allison remarked with a pleased smile on her soft facial features.
A frown crossed her face as her hand stopped moving across the fur. Allison turned her head up to look up at her father as she spoke in French. " Magic is real? "
Hope and Daphne's blue eyes widened at the pitch perfect French that flowed out of Allison's mouth and hummed pleasantly under their breath at the familiar language.
" If you asked me that an hour ago I would've said no. Although I think they are still lying about something. The brunette is the one who released me from the blonde's invisible magical hold. " Chris replied quietly in French, hoping to keep their conversation private from the other two people in the room.
"I should mention that both of us know French." Hope admitted with a proud yet mischievous smile and the Argents tensed up at the Wolf girl's words.
"And we will try to explain how we ended up here, but I'll admit there will be some things that we will keep to ourselves. We don't owe you our life story. We are offering up parts of our lives so you can understand that we aren't of this world." The Tribrid told the Hunter pair.
The Fox butted its head against Allison's leg begging for more attention from the ravenette as it made pitiful whimpering sounds at her feet, pawing at her gently.
Daphne clasped her hands in front of her as she took a more regal standing. "I also realised that you regarded us as the blonde and brunette making me realise that we never gave you our names. My name is Daphne Greengrass and this is Hope Mikaelson."
Allison patted the demanding Fox at her feet as the blonde girl spoke. "So… you said that you are both from another universe and that you aren't from the same universe as each other."
Hope and Daphne nodded their heads at the statement the Huntress made.
"Okay… If what you say is true and Daphne is from a version of the ' Harry Potter ' world. Then it stands to reason that you could also be from another universe that is also literature or televised for the world to see. I mean you mentioned the ' Harry Potter ' books exist in your universe and they exist here." Allison began to explain to her father and the two witches.
"Then theoretically my universe could exist as stories in other worlds." Hope finishes Allison's thought process. "My friend Lizzie had theorised this to me before. So you think it may be possible that I exist in your universe as a character in a book or movie?"
Allison blinked a few times as she kinda expected Hope would've been more resistant to her theory. When Allison thought about it for a couple of moments longer she realised that would make Hope a hypocrite considering she already knew about Daphne being from another universe.
In fact, looking back on it now, Allison remembers how Hope looked at her with recognition as though she already knew who she and her father were. "You know us… Our universe is a story in your world, isn't it Hope?"
Hope's sea-blue eyes widened in surprise and her back went ramrod straight at the declaration Allison made without a hint of doubt in her voice.
Chris looked at Allison in shock. "What?"
"Hope recognised us nearly immediately, dad. She knows us." The Huntress told her father with so much determination that he fully believed her and looking over at Hope, he saw the same recognition that Allison noticed.
"Yes… Allison you are right. I do know you and your father." Hope begrudgingly admitted with a slight nod of her head. "But you should know that I really shouldn't tell you anything that happens, otherwise it will alter this world's timeline. Which in turn means that I wouldn't be able to make careful alterations to this timeline. To make things better for this world."
"Or alternatively, you simply don't do or say anything that would make any changes." Chris told the girls with a rise of a judgemental eyebrow which Allison copied as she agreed with her father.
Hope scoffed under her breath. "A little late for that."
Chris and Allison narrowed their eyes at Hope when they overheard the brunette's snarky comment.
The Tribrid sighed in exasperation as she stated the obvious with a slight glare in the Argents direction. "We've already interacted with the two of you."
"And to be quite fair we aren't going anywhere for a while." Daphne continued offhandedly as she subtly gazed at Allison.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Chris remarked as he moved completely in front of Allison, blocking the blonde's view of his daughter.
The Mikaelson girl gave Daphne a quick glance and shook her head slightly. " For the love of God or Merlin don't say that Allison is soulmated to us. That will just set Chris off further and I'm not in the mood to commit patricide and garter Allison's hate in a single moment… We need to get them to trust us and unfortunately that means chipping away at the overprotective father. " Hope telepathically told her wife.
Daphne bit the inside of her cheek as she understood Hope's explanation but seeing the glares from the Argents, the blonde Witch used her quick thinking and political mind to come up with an alternative reasoning on why they wouldn't be leaving.
"Because universal travel isn't as easy as you think. Hope and her Aunt were working on it before we ended up here. But the truth of the matter is, it takes time to figure out all the mathematical equations, the magical equations, the power required for travel and making sure we actually hit the right reality of that specific universe. It's a long, tiring process." Daphne spewed out the first thing that came to mind which just happened to be a truth that fit into that query.
"We never had the opportunity to test our universal travel spell… Actually if our theory was correct it's more like a portal. So we don't even know if it will work or rip the fabric of reality apart." Hope included giving her wife's words more credence with the Hunters.
Allison groaned lightly as she stood to her full height, the Patronus Fox disappeared from sight when it realised that the Huntress was no longer interested in patting the pearl-white creature.
The ravenette rubbed at her temples as she turned to her father. "Did you understand any of that?"
Chris made a noise between a grunt and exasperated sigh. "Slightly. Apparently it will take time for them to go back to their universe without blowing a hole in our universe."
"Basically." Hope remarked with a smirk.
"So what do we do now dad?" Allison questioned quietly in a whisper while observing the two girls in the corner of her eyes.
Argent was at a loss. He's never dealt with magic before and he knew that these girls were powerful and potentially very dangerous. "I don't know. But I need to know more about the she-wolf. For all we know she could be a ruthless killer." Argent murmured back just as quietly.
Hope's eyebrow raised at the implication wondering if she should say anything while Daphne simply watched on in amusement but before the Tribrid could say anything, Allison awkwardly cleared her throat before speaking as a revelation came to mind. "Uh… Dad?"
The elder Hunter hummed as kept his gaze on the couple in front of him.
"There may be a small problem with that." Allison admitted with a guarded look on her face.
Chris glanced back for a moment as he asked. "What do you mean?"
Allison scratched at her hairline uncomfortably. "Because I saw her eyes already… They were a golden colour to begin with like a Beta, but then a deep red like an Alpha was bleeding out from the pupil making her eyes look orange. Then there were those weird, dark-coloured veins that shot down from under her eyes."
Hope pursed her lips as she nervously looked between the two Argents as she felt Daphne's mental insistence to tell the Hunters or more specifically their dark haired Hunter what she is, what they are to each other.
Hope sighed as she wet her parched lips after hours of remaining motionless at her wife's side. "Alright, I guess I have a little bit of explaining to do."
Hope shook her head as she allowed her eyes to glow amber first, showing her Werewolf traits before opening her mouth, showcasing her elongated canines of her Wolf side.
Once the father-daughter duo took in the Werewolf's appearance completely the Tribrid slowly started to change her facial feature to include her Vampiric characteristics. The canines on her upper jaw extended even lower along with the two teeth directly behind them, giving her a double set of canines on her upper set of fangs. Dark veins spiderwebbed out from under her now glowing orange-red eyes.
Chris' heart filled with lead as he watched the Wolf girl showcased her powers slowly as if she was showcasing the effect of her supernatural sides and the power each side has when added on top of her already existing Wolf features.
The younger Hunter was memorised by Hope's eyes and the mere presence that the Tribrid was radiating from the brunette's very pores. Allison couldn't stop herself from swallowing the saliva that gathered in her mouth at the subconscious feeling of immense power Hope was effortlessly showing her and her father.
"I am a combination of 3 supernatural beings. Werewolf, Witch and Vampire. The Original Tribrid." Hope informed them as she summoned a fireball into her hand, a Mikaelson smirk
growing on the corner of her mouth with one of her canines showing from the gap of her upper lip.
Chris' eyes widened to such a degree that they bulged out dramatically. Allison's heart jumped a beat at the hint of fang from the Werewolf's smirk and skipped another beat as she stared at the fireball in fascination.
Hope and even Daphne could hear Allison's traitorous heartbeat and shared a pleased glance at one another before the Tribrid finished her little speech that she nearly has rehearsed word for word by now. "I am the only one of my kind. My father was Klaus Mikaelson, the Original Hybrid and my mother was a Werewolf Alpha. I'm a descendant of 2 powerful Witch lines which are responsible for the birth of Vampires and Werewolves in my universe."
