Chapter 9

Zachary, I remember when we started the studio together, you promised you'd marry me."

Vivienne gazed at the man she'd willingly give everything for with hazy eyes.

He was fragile and beautiful, yet selfish and cruel.

She had always known Zachary's ruthless ambition; they shared the same blood, tainted with cruelty.

He and she were cut from the same cloth.

Only she could accompany Zachary to the very end.

She was the one who truly deserved to stand by Zachary's side!

Zachary averted his gaze, covering his face as he wept, "I... I've lost Freesia..."

In an instant, the lust in Vivienne's eyes vanished completely. She gripped Zachary's shoulders, forcing him to look at her.

"Zachary, are you being a masochist?"

"She worked with the media to hurt you like that, and you still can't let her go?"

Without a moment's hesitation, Zachary tore Vivienne's hands away from him, his eyes filled with frost.

"Cut the act, Vivienne."

"I know you're behind this."
