The Hierarchy of Dragon Evolution
Wyrm
(Level 1-30) The weakest form of dragonkind. Rely on brute strength and territorial aggression. They lack complex thought and magic, acting purely on instinct.
Lindworm
(Level 31-50) A step above the Wyrm, Lindworms have better movement and combat ability. Develop minor elemental affinities, allowing them to resist or wield small amounts of fire, ice, or lightning. Intelligence improves.
Evolution Requirement: Develop resistance to or mastery over an element.
Drake
(Level 51-70) Very strong body, stamina and hardened resistance. Breath attacks become more refined, allowing for controlled bursts rather than raw elemental discharge.
Evolution Requirement: Improve the body's strength, endurance, resilience, and master elemental breath control, refining precision and power.
Wyvern
(Level 71-100) The first dragon to achieve full flight. Wyverns have the ability to develop large wings but lose the use of their forelimbs, forcing them to rely on aerial agility, talons, and breath attacks. They become expert aerial predators, capable of devastating hit-and-run attacks on ground-based enemies.
Evolution Requirement: Master aerial combat, consume an energy-dense storm core or the core of an aerial beast.
Dragon
(Level 101-150) The pinnacle of a true dragon. The power is now on par with or above that of most mortals, and they can begin to wield powerful magic.
Evolution Requirement: Develop an unbreakable physique by enduring extreme battles and prolonged exposure to high-density mana zones. Master breath attacks to a level where they can be used with precision and destructive force. Strengthen natural defenses, forging scales comparable to enchanted armor. Consume high-tier magical core. Achieve complete control over elemental abilities, bending them to the dragon's will.
Greater Dragon
(Level 151-200) Can alter landscapes with their presence, their power capable of creating or erasing entire regions. They have near-absolute mastery over their element and can manipulate magic at an advanced level.
Evolution Requirement: Survive prolonged exposure to extreme environments such as volcanoes, deep-sea trenches, or high-altitude mana storms.
Perfect mastery over elemental breath and develop the ability to maintain high-intensity combat for extended periods without rest. Strengthen physical resilience. Adapt to different forms of magic. Defeat and consume the core of higher beings.
Primordial Dragon
(Level 200+) The rarest and most ancient of dragons, Primordial Dragons are living forces of nature. They are no longer creatures of flesh and blood but embodiments of cosmic power, capable of bending reality.
Evolution Requirement: Transcend mortal existence by either achieving godhood, merging with a fundamental force of the universe, or defeating an entity that exists beyond time.
The Hierarchy of Demons
Imp
The lowest form of demonkind, small, mischievous, and weak. Imps have little to no combat ability, often serving as scouts, servants, or cannon fodder. They have minor magical abilities.
Lesser Demon
A more developed demon with increased intelligence. Lesser Demons possess better combat abilities and can wield simple magic. Some may begin developing unique affinities based on sin or elemental corruption.
Greater Demon
A powerful demon that has established dominance over weaker beings. Greater Demons possess devastating magical power and physical strength, often serving as generals in demonic armies or acting independently as warlords.
Archdemon
The commanders of Hell's forces, Archdemons are highly intelligent and control vast numbers of demons.
Demon Lord
The rulers of large sections of the underworld, Demon Lords are terrifying entities that control entire armies, spread corruption, and have nearly indestructible physical and magical forms.
Demon King
The apex of demon evolution, the undisputed ruler of all demons.
Adventurer Ranks
Adventurers are ranked based on skill, experience, and achievements. From weak beginners to legends.
Tin Rank (Novice Adventurers)
The weakest rank, for rookies and fresh recruits. Often given simple gathering quests or pest extermination (rats, slimes). Barely equipped, wooden weapons, cheap armor.
Copper Rank (Junior Adventurers)
A step above rookies, but still not strong enough for real battles. Now allowed to join parties and take low-risk combat missions. Can now face weak monsters like goblins and wolves.
Iron Rank (The First True Fighters)
No longer a rookie, now a recognized adventurer. Can take on small monster packs and low-level dungeons. Many adventurers remain at this level their entire lives.
Steel Rank (Experienced Adventurers)
Now considered a professional adventurer. Capable of soloing stronger monsters like ogres or trolls. Can now take on more dangerous dungeons and ruins.
Mithril Rank (The First Elite Tier)
Highly skilled adventurers, often forming elite squads. Capable of fighting strong monsters like undead knights. Frequently hired by nobles and guilds for high-risk missions.
Adamantite Rank (Heroes of the World)
The highest rank most adventurers can achieve. Can battle legendary beasts like high demons, or undead generals. Famous throughout kingdoms, sometimes taking noble titles.
Orichalcum Rank (Myths That Walk the Earth)
Few adventurers ever reach this level. Capable of fighting any kind of demon, the peak of human potential. Feared and respected by kings, nobles, and even monsters.
