Chapter 16 – Julia aka Anna Farland POV

I was just a normal girl in high school.

That Cute, intelligent, even popular at first...

I came from a very rich family.

But none of that saved me.

I was bullied.

Why?

Because I refused to be part of their "FUN activity."

The so-called "Kings and Queens gang."

They were monsters.devils ...

And their favorite victim? was Scarlett.

I watched them torture her—physically and mentally.

Sometimes, they made me watch, saying it was a lesson cause i wa new in their team.

And the worst part?

Everyone knew.

The teachers. The students.

But no one did a thing about it.

Why?

Because Sharon, Liam, Lana, Jason…

They were untouchable.

Rich. Powerful. Connected.

And Scarlett?

She was poor, overweight, fat , and easy to target.

2015 – Back Then

It was another day. Another show of their cruelty.

Sharon was smirking, holding a golf racket.

Scarlett was on the floor.

Broken. Terrified.

Sharon raised the racket, preparing to swing.

My heart stopped.

Was she seriously going to—

I screamed.

"STOP HURTING HER!"

 "Don't do that please stop "

Without thinking, I threw myself in front of Scarlett, shielding her.

Sharon laughed.

A mad, twisted laugh.

Lana shoved me to the ground and sneered.

— "Sharon told you, she doesn't deserve mercy. She's just like our panda a loser ."

She laughed like it was a joke.

Liam just stared at me.

His eyes were dark. Cold. Calculating.

Then Jason stood up. For the first time, he spoke.

— "Okay, let's take a break. Anna, take Scarlett and go. Now, Now anna !."

I didn't hesitate.

I grabbed Scarlett and ran.

Because if Jason hadn't stepped in that day…

It would have been so much worse.

From that moment on, they turned on me too.

Not as brutally as they did with Scarlett, because of my family's power.

But mentally? They destroyed me.

The once-popular girl… was removed from the spotlight.

I became no one to them ...

Scarlett was the only one who stayed by my side.

Even Today we still friends .

And now?

We were back.

And this time…

We were in control.
