A Morning Full of Surprises

As Ananya and Raj stepped inside the house, the sight in front of them made them freeze. On the couch, curled up together, were Aditya and Avira, sleeping soundly in each other's arms. Avira's head rested against Aditya's chest, while his arm was wrapped protectively around her waist, as if shielding her from the world. The peaceful expressions on their faces showed just how comfortable they were with each other.

Ananya's mouth opened in shock, but before she could utter a word, Raj swiftly placed a finger on her lips, silencing her. His eyes twinkled with mischief as he pulled out his phone.

"Oh no, no, no, this moment is too precious to let go," he whispered, quickly capturing multiple pictures.

"Raj, stop it! They'll wake up!" Ananya scolded in a hushed voice, trying to grab his phone, but Raj was already clicking away.

"Wake up? Not a chance. They look too cozy," Raj smirked before taking it a step further—he started a video call.

"Who are you calling?!" Ananya whisper-yelled, horrified.

Raj grinned. "Aditya's house."

The moment the call connected, a woman's confused voice echoed from the other end. "Raj? Why are you calling at this hour?"

"Aunty, look at your dear son. He's been very busy these days," Raj said, flipping the camera to show Aditya and Avira cuddled together.

A stunned silence followed. Then, gasps and shocked voices erupted from the breakfast table at Aditya's home.

"Aditya?!"

"That's Avira, right?"

"What on earth—?"

Raj, laughing uncontrollably, ended the call before anyone could say more. Ananya smacked his arm. "Raj, you are impossible!"

He winked. "Let them sleep in peace. But trust me, this is going to be fun later."

Deciding not to wake them up, Ananya and Raj headed downstairs.

"I'll make some coffee and breakfast for them," Ananya offered, tying her hair up as she moved toward the kitchen.

Raj followed her, leaning casually against the counter, watching her with an amused expression. "You know, you look adorable when you're all serious and housewife-like."

Ananya rolled her eyes. "I'm just making breakfast, Raj. Nothing more."

"Hmm, but tell me, what kind of marriage do you want? A grand one with thousands of guests? Or something small and intimate?" he asked, stepping closer.

Ananya froze for a second, then turned to glare at him. "When did I say I would marry you?"

Raj grinned. "You didn't. But it's written all over your face, Ananya. You love me. And one day, you'll say it yourself."

He wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, pulling her close. His breath tickled her ear as he whispered, "What about kids? Two? Three?"

Ananya's heart raced, and she quickly elbowed him in the stomach. "Get lost, Raj!"

He chuckled. "Ouch. That hurt."

Meanwhile, upstairs, Avira stirred awake. As her senses returned, she realized she was snuggled against something warm and strong. Her head rested against a solid chest, and a firm arm held her close. It took her a second to process—she was lying in Aditya's embrace.

Her entire body stiffened. Trying to move away, she attempted to pry his arm off her waist. But instead of letting go, Aditya's hold tightened.

"Mmm… don't go," he mumbled sleepily.

"Mr. Aditya Singh, wake up and let me go!" she hissed.

Instead of responding, he pulled her back into his chest.

Avira's patience snapped. She lifted her leg and—

THUD.

Aditya landed on the floor with a loud groan.

"What the hell, Avira? Is this how you thank your boss?" he grumbled, rubbing his back.

Avira smirked. "You shouldn't have held me captive in my sleep."

She grabbed her clothes and rushed into the washroom, leaving Aditya cursing under his breath.

Minutes later, when Avira emerged, she found Ananya downstairs and immediately asked, "Where were you yesterday, Ananya?"

Ananya tensed slightly but quickly composed herself. "Oh, I was out for some work and lost my way."

Avira frowned, her instincts telling her something was off. She turned toward Raj and Aditya, who exchanged a brief glance before looking away. Ananya discreetly signaled them not to say anything.

Avira narrowed her eyes but decided to let it go. "It's good that Raj helped you. Otherwise, I swear I would have buried him alive."

Raj gasped dramatically. "Ms. Avira, how could you even think of burying your future friend's husband?"

Avira blinked. "What?!"

Raj turned to Ananya. "Tell her, sweetheart."

Ananya face-palmed. "Ignore him, Avira. He's just being stupid."

Avira huffed. "And what about you, Mr. Aditya Singh? What were you doing in my bed again?"

Aditya smirked. "We were practicing how to sleep together after marriage."

Avira's jaw dropped. Before she could react, Aditya leaned in and pressed a quick kiss to her cheek. "Now, be a good fiancée and make me something delicious, my dear saali sahiba."

The room fell into stunned silence. Raj and Ananya burst into laughter while Avira turned red.

"Stop laughing and focus on breakfast!" she snapped, storming toward the kitchen, blushing furiously.

Aditya smirked. Little did Avira know—her reactions only made him want to tease her even more.
