Judgement

Anger still boiled inside him upon seeing Berlin being touched. He wanted to go back and beat up the bastard all over again and enjoy his screams of pain. He had been so pissed when he discovered that Berlin had come back from visiting the restroom. If he hadn't placed a tracker on her, he would never have been able to find her.

That imbecile that has nothing to do with his life must have lost his mind. To his family name that was too precious to even touch, he dares? He will make the family regret it. His deep rage was continuously increasing.

'Richmond Walter.'

Karlos tapped his fingers on the phone.

'Has his family done wrong?' such rational thoughts did not cross Karlos's mind.

He was mulling over how to punish him.

Karlos did not do things like internationally making up an incident that never happened in order to punish another. In his own way, he found that sort of means cowardly.

However once he found something that he could pick on, he bit down tenaciously. In the eyes of others, there was no difference between the two methods but Karlos didn't care about what other people thought. To him, he only had to be unashamed to himself.

Leaving Berlin to rest for the night, Karlos made his way into the car while clenching his fist to suppress the rage he felt. Driving to the warehouse, the guards moved out of his way as they sensed his presence.

Richmond lay on the ground bleeding.

"Welcome Sir," The guards said in unison, standing up immediately.

"M-mr. W-Wayne..." Richmond on the other hand, found it hard speaking. And was trying hard to stand up as he was severely injured, but Karlos didn't feel any empathy at all. Anger and irritation were all he felt at the moment. Irritation that the son of a bitch laid his hands on what was his. He should have known better.

Richmond dropped to his knees in front of Karlos.

"M-mr. W-Wayne...no amount of apology is enough for what I had planned to do. Please spare me..." He said looking down and spitting out blood, face covered in blood. He struggled to get up and begged weakly. A guard walked into the room with a gun in his hand. He held the gun out to Karlos.

"Since you have harmed mine. Don't think you can walk out of here like a free man."

Hearing that, Richmond felt that he was in hell.

The guards all stood at the corner of the room trying to keep a straight face but Karlos could sense a hint of fear in their eyes, and when he took the gun, he could hear Richmond panting as if out of breath.

He kept his head down while blood dripped from his wound down to the ground. He wanted to point out those girls that led him to this grave circumstance but that wouldn't change the outcome. The Wayne Family was originally a royal family. So the Wayne men weren't on the smaller side due to inheriting their ancestors' Power and Wealth.

There was no one among the rich folks who didn't know Karlos's Wayne family. Especially in the Century when mineral extraction took place fervently.

Even commoners talked about them as they went about making ends meet.

At the reunion and on the terrace earlier, he allowed his pants to cloud his better judgement.

Everyone was waiting for Karlos and Richmond was hoping to be set free.

Karlos had never killed anyone and today wasn't going to be his first. He saw death as an easy punishment. But he never got this angry in quite a while. He remembered how Berlin had a sad look. He was fuming with anger because of the trauma Berlin had to go through today. He knew that it was something she wouldn't be able to forget and was angry because he wasn't sure of what he was feeling for her either.

Richmond lifted his head up slightly, worried why he was still breathing.

Pow! Pow!

"I won't kill you," Karlos said, after taking a shot at him. " This should teach you a lesson." Even though he was furiously upset, he was satisfied with his punishment.

The guards looked petrified. Richmond's shoulders dropped in relief and looked at him, surprised for a moment.

But his happiness was short-lived when he realized where he had been shot. His body suddenly fell into the puddle of blood.

Leaving the castrated Richmond and the guards to clean up the mess, he left.
