The Fourth Raikage was livid.
"I'm so pissed off! So pissed off! AHHHH!!!"
Lightning crackled violently around him as his rage boiled over, sending arcs of electricity surging into the ground, shattering the earth beneath his feet. His veins bulged, fists clenched tight as his frustration reached its peak.
No matter how fast he was, it didn't matter.Minato was faster and now damn —, even Naruto—was faster than him. It was unbearable.
His subordinates, Darui and C, exchanged nervous glances before stepping forward cautiously.
"Boss, what do we do now? Naruto said something to Lord Bee and just... took him," C said hesitantly.
Darui sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "This is really troublesome."
Raikage clenched his teeth, pure hatred burning in his eyes. For a brief, tempting moment, he considered abandoning the idea of a ninja alliance entirely. Instead, he wanted to mobilize every damn shinobi in Kumogakure and hunt that blonde bastard down personally.
"No. I refuse to let Bee just walk away like that. We're going back to the village first. I'll report this to the Daimyo, then we'll rally the entire Kumogakure army to pursue Naruto!"
Darui winced. "Boss, you've seen Naruto's strength. If we really want to catch him, then forming the shinobi alliance is the better choice. One village alone isn't enough."
C nodded. "And more importantly, we need to figure out why Bee left with Naruto in the first place. If we don't understand that, we might just make fools of ourselves trying to capture him—only for him to refuse to return."
Raikage growled, his rage barely restrained. "If he doesn't want to leave, then I'll beat some damn sense into him! Drag him back by force if I have to!"
Darui and C exchanged another look, their thoughts aligning: Boss, you literally could've stopped them earlier. Why are you angry now?
But neither said a word, afraid of getting electrocuted on the spot.
Amegakure
Naruto and Killer Bee landed in the heart of the Rain Village, the ever-present drizzle soaking into their clothes.
Bee looked around with wary eyes. "Where are we?"
Naruto deactivated his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, stretching a bit. "Amegakure. This is gonna be our base for a while."
Bee exhaled, taking in the gloomy, rain-drenched village. "Figures. No wonder it's pouring."
His usual rapping persona had faded, replaced by a somber expression. He turned to Naruto. "Tell me the truth. You really came back from the future?"
Naruto nodded seriously. "You're the second person to know. Keep it that way."
Bee was quiet for a moment before clenching his fist. "Got it. If what you say is true, then I'm with you. I'll help you change the future."
He'd seen it—the brutal death of his brother, the fall of the shinobi world. If there was even a chance to prevent that nightmare, he'd take it.
"Naruto, you're back?"
A familiar voice cut through the rain.
Konan and Nagato emerged from a nearby building, their robes billowing in the wet wind. Nagato's Rinnegan glowed faintly as he studied the new arrival beside Naruto.
"Naruto, who's this?"
Naruto turned, surprised. " Nagato... you're walking?!"
A deep chuckle followed. "Heh. Long time no see, Naruto-kun."
From the shadows, Orochimaru stepped forward, his golden eyes gleaming with amusement.
Nagato nodded. "Originally, Uncle Snake wanted to wait for you before performing the surgery, but I couldn't sit around anymore. Had him do it early. The results were... better than expected."
Naruto knelt down, inspecting Nagato's legs with exaggerated scrutiny. "Damn, nice stitchwork! The scars look clean too!"
Orochimaru smirked, hands in his pockets. "Well, of course. Who do you think performed it?"
Konan smiled warmly. "Naruto, you should've seen him after he recovered. He ran around Amegakure like a kid who just learned to walk."
Nagato turned red. "Konan!"
Naruto laughed before turning to Orochimaru. He bowed slightly. "Thank you, Uncle Snake."
Orochimaru blinked, caught off guard by the genuine gratitude. "Hoh? Politeness from you? That's rare."
Naruto straightened. "You helped fix Brother Nagato, so yeah, you earned it. Besides, without your key medical work, he wouldn't be back on his feet."
Orochimaru chuckled, lips curling into a pleased grin. "That, and the Hashirama cells helped more than expected. Nagato's Uzumaki heritage made the fusion incredibly smooth."
Naruto nodded knowingly. "Of course. The Uzumaki and Senju clans share the Sage of Six Paths' bloodline. It was bound to work."
Bee raised a brow. "Damn. Hashirama's cells, Orochimaru in the flesh—this place is crazy."
Naruto turned to the group. "Alright, everyone. Meet our new teammate—Eight-Tails' Jinchūriki, Killer Bee."
Orochimaru frowned slightly. "The younger brother of the Fourth Raikage? Interesting."
Nagato hummed in realization. "That explains the powerful chakra I sensed."
Konan, ever composed, simply nodded. "Another tailed beast host? This should prove useful."
Naruto turned to her. "Senior Sister, could you set up a room for Bee? And get him a uniform."
Konan smiled. "Of course."
As she left to handle arrangements, Naruto turned back to Bee. "Uncle Bee, mind lending me Samehada for a second?"
Bee raised an eyebrow but handed over the massive sentient blade. "You into freaky swords too?"
Naruto took it, immediately entering Nine-Tails Chakra Mode. A sinister presence stirred within the weapon.
A cruel grin spread across his lips. "Alright, Kisame. You coming out on your own, or should I beat you out?"
Bee's jaw nearly dropped. "What the hell?! That bastard shark's still in there?! I thought me and bro wrecked him!"
Nagato frowned. "Impossible. My sensory technique only picked up your chakra."
Orochimaru watched with deep intrigue. "Hoh... Interesting."
Within the blade, Kisame's hidden form stiffened. How? How could Naruto sense him? His chakra had perfectly merged with Samehada—it was supposed to be undetectable.
Naruto smirked, tightening his grip. "I'm in full Nine-Tails Mode, dumbass. I don't just sense chakra—I can feel emotions too. And yours? It stinks of malice."
Kisame cursed. He had no choice.
Samehada suddenly lurched away from Naruto's grasp, the sword shifting into its true form. Kisame's head emerged, grinning despite the situation.
"Heh. Guess you got me, kid."
Bee stepped forward, cracking his knuckles. "Man, I should've made sure you were shark food!"
Naruto smirked, readying himself. "Alright, then. Let's have some fun."
The rain continued to fall over Amegakure, but inside, the storm was just beginning.
