Revenge

Sophia stared at her reflection in the grand mirror of her penthouse suite in Dubai. Her face was flawless, her silk robe hugging her curves, but for the first time in a long time, she felt empty.

Her parents' voices echoed in her mind.

"Do you still read your Bible?"

She had ended the call, but their words lingered like a ghost she couldn't shake.

She wasn't the girl they thought she was anymore.

She wasn't even sure who she was.

But right now, she couldn't afford to dwell on guilt. Not when Nasir was still out there.

She grabbed her phone and dialed Elliot.

"We need to move forward."

A Meeting in the Shadows

Sophia and Elliot met at a high-end restaurant, far from prying eyes. The air was thick with tension.

"If we go after Nasir, we have to do it right," Elliot said, sipping his whiskey. "He has connections everywhere. One wrong move, and we're both dead."

Sophia leaned forward. "I don't care. I want him destroyed. And I want my life back."

Elliot smirked. "Then it's time to play dirty."

He slid a file across the table. Inside were details—Nasir's hidden accounts, his business rivals, his enemies.

"We can hit him where it hurts—his money, his allies, his reputation."

Sophia flipped through the documents, her heart pounding. "So where do we start?"

Elliot's eyes darkened. "With a warning."

Back in Nigeria...

Mr. Adeyemi sat in his study, staring at his phone.

His daughter was in Dubai.

Living a life he didn't recognize.

His wife entered, her Bible clutched to her chest. "Have faith. God will bring her back."

He sighed. "What if she doesn't want to come back?"

She placed a hand on his shoulder. "Then we pray harder."

A knock interrupted them.

It was the pastor.

"I heard about Sophia," he said gently. "Can we pray for her?"

Tears welled in Mrs. Adeyemi's eyes. "Please."

As the pastor began to pray, Mr. Adeyemi whispered, "Where did we go wrong?"

The First Strike

Sophia watched from a distance as one of Nasir's business deals collapsed overnight.

She smiled.

This was just the beginning.

A Powerful Move

Sophia sat in a dimly lit lounge, her glass of wine untouched. Across from her, Elliot scrolled through his tablet, smirking.

"Nasir lost five million dollars overnight."

Sophia leaned back. "Good."

Elliot's eyes gleamed. "You're enjoying this."

She met his gaze. "I'm taking back my power."

She had spent too long running, hiding, and fearing the man who had once controlled her life. Now, it was his turn to suffer.

"What's next?" she asked.

Elliot chuckled. "We go deeper."

A Leak in Nasir's Empire

Nasir stormed into his office, his face twisted with rage. His men stood silently, heads bowed, as he slammed his fist on the table.

"Who did this?" he growled. "Who's behind this attack on my accounts?"

His second-in-command, Bilal, shifted uncomfortably. "We don't know yet, but someone is leaking information about your finances to your rivals."

Nasir's jaw clenched. "Find out who. And make them pay."

But deep inside, a fear gnawed at him.

This wasn't random. Someone was coming for him.

And he had a sinking feeling he knew who.

Sophia's Parents Receive a Threat

Back in Nigeria, Mr. Adeyemi and his wife were preparing for bed when a loud knock startled them.

Mr. Adeyemi opened the door cautiously—and froze.

A small bloodstained note lay on the doorstep.

It read:

"Tell your daughter to stop, or she'll regret it."

His hands trembled. "Sophia… what have you done?"

The Next Step

Sophia's phone rang.

She picked up, expecting Elliot. But it was her father.

His voice was shaky. "Sophia… we received a threat."

Her blood ran cold.

Nasir had reached her family.

Her father continued. "Please, whatever you're doing… stop. Come home."

Sophia swallowed hard. She had started this war, but now, her parents were in danger.

Could she risk their lives to end Nasir?

Or was it time to walk away?

A Crossroad

Sophia sat alone on her balcony, the cool Dubai breeze brushing against her skin. She gripped her phone tightly, replaying her father's words in her mind.

"Sophia… we received a threat."

Her heart pounded. Nasir had found a way to strike back.

She had promised herself she wouldn't let him control her again. But was it worth risking her family?

Elliot's voice snapped her back to reality.

"You're thinking of stopping, aren't you?"

She turned to find him standing in the doorway, arms crossed.

"He threatened my parents, Elliot."

Elliot sighed, stepping closer. "That's exactly what he wants—to scare you into backing off."

Sophia bit her lip. "And if he goes further? If he hurts them?"

Elliot leaned in, his voice cold. "Then we hit him harder."

Back in Nigeria…

Mr. Adeyemi couldn't sleep.

His wife sat beside him, gripping his hand. "We have to pray."

"Pray?" He scoffed, running a hand over his face. "Sophia is too deep in this. She's fighting a battle she shouldn't be fighting."

The bloodstained note sat on their bedside table like a curse.

"We have to do more than pray."

Mrs. Adeyemi hesitated. "What do you mean?"

He picked up his phone. "I mean we need to find a way to bring her home."

A Message from Nasir

Sophia was about to leave when her phone buzzed.

A video message from an unknown number.

She hesitated, then played it.

Her breath hitched.

It was her father, sitting in his shop. A masked man walked in, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Then a deep voice spoke.

"Your father is a good man. It would be a shame if something happened to him."

The screen went black.

Sophia's hands shook.

This wasn't just a warning anymore. This was war.

She turned to Elliot.

"We end this. Now."
