Yang Hao spent the entire day studying and was soon able to understand the technique. He successfully gathered the Fire, Light, and Thunder elements, even managing to fuse them and absorb them into his body. However, he could only absorb a small amount before feeling his stomach bloat, preventing him from absorbing any more.
Meisa, who understood the significance of this, was utterly shocked. She had never expected Yang Hao to learn the technique in just one day. Even the most talented genius she had ever encountered had taken ten days to master such a divine technique.
"Sister Meisa, I feel full. How do I use this Yang Element to temper my skin?" Yang Hao asked.
"Alright, close your eyes, and let me guide the Yang Element. Pay close attention to how I temper your skin, and then do it yourself," Meisa instructed as she placed her hand on Yang Hao's back.
Yang Hao soon felt the Yang Element moving, quickly absorbing into his skin and making it stronger. He memorized Meisa's method, and when she withdrew her hand, he attempted to replicate the process. Before long, he succeeded and advanced to the Second Stage of the Mortal Elemental Realm.
In the Mortal Elemental Realm, there were ten stages. The first stage was Element Sensing—one reached this stage simply by sensing an element. The second stage was Skin Tempering, where one had to temper their skin with an element repeatedly until further tempering became impossible.
"Alright, once you finish this stage, I'll teach you the next one," Meisa said before disappearing.
In a small secluded space, Meisa appeared before Seisa, who was lost in thought.
Seisa, too, was shocked by Yang Hao's rapid progress. She had never expected him to grasp the divine technique in just one day, let alone master the Skin Tempering technique on his first attempt.
Such talent was extremely rare. If nurtured properly, he could even attain immortality.
"Seisa, I think we should train this guy. He could become as strong as us—or even stronger," Meisa said. "And who knows? He might also have a talent for alchemy. Wouldn't it be better to teach him?"
Seisa remained deep in thought. After a while, she finally spoke. "Yes… He is talented. However, let's wait and see."
Meisa nodded. Despite her cold and icy expression, she was pleased that Seisa had not outright refused. If Yang Hao possessed good character, Seisa would have no reason to reject him as a disciple. More importantly, Meisa wanted Seisa to accept Yang Hao in her heart.
Meisa understood that Seisa felt disgusted and saddened by losing her first time to Yang Hao. The more intimate encounters she had with him in the future, the greater her disgust, sadness, and resentment would grow. If this continued, it would create a heart demon that could hinder her cultivation progress. Meisa wanted to prevent this by helping Seisa accept Yang Hao and eventually find happiness in their relationship.
To achieve this, Meisa devised a three-step plan. First, she would teach Yang Hao the divine technique. Second, she would encourage him to study alchemy. Lastly, she would guide him in developing a character that Seisa likes.
Truthfully, Meisa had little hope for Yang Hao, but it was good that he had a talent.
Although Meisa doesn't have emotions, she understands that she should help Seisa, so she won't develop an inner demon.
For now, she didn't need to overthink things. The next step was to introduce Yang Hao to alchemy and have Seisa teach him.
"Sister Meisa, what should I do? I have to show my power to others sooner or later. So, I'm thinking of showing it to my father and getting some resources for myself. Is that okay?"
"I'm teaching you a technique. Use that technique and only show your Fire Element," Seisa answered instead of Meisa.
When Meisa saw this, she nodded that Seisa was taking the initiative.
