Chapter 14 : surprising progress

This fear led to the rigid use of magic, because of the lack of knowledge and imagination the use of magic becomes rather stagnant, apparently Morgana was going to feed her a good sum of knowledge and teach her how to use her magic effectively. 

But first they have to remove the seal that her grandma put on her when she was awakening her power before, she didn't know about it until now. 

" Wait, does anything we do here affect my real body ? " Alya asked knowing that she was unconscious and her body was somewhere else and Morgana replied with a smirk which gave her goosebumps " Don't worry about it , you wouldn't understand even if I were to explain" She replied as she took Alyas hand and began pouring essence into her body, it was first soothing but soon she felt a tremendous amount of pain that nearly overwhelmed her starting from her chest spreading all over her body. 

This pain continued for a while wreaking havoc in both her body and mind and it was too damn painful after a long while the pain reduced while she gasped for breath, 

"You are quite tough others would have passed out in the first minute of bearing the pain " Morgana gave Alya a complement which she took in good but her brain began re processing the words she said ' unless it's my real body I can't pass out unless she is clueless or I'm really… "  Alya said stopping on the last part which seemed to be the case her as Avera gave a weird chuckle apparently still stuck in her mind. 

She wanted to ask but went against it as she really told her that she wouldn't understand even if she was told or the issue was explained to her, her training started after a few minutes of rest, Morgana first imparted her with normal rune knowledge that she neglected when she was a child through a spell that allows allows a person to impact knowledge into the memory of another person without any side effects, the normal child was taught thirty but Morgana gave her three hundred runes and according to her was part of the starting and they still had a long way to go which to Alya was really really far. 

According to Morgana her training was going to be in two types which is her Mana training and her rune arcania training, Morgana was going to be teaching her the one that has to do with Mana while avera was going to be teaching her the latter, 

Her first lesson wasn't going to be an easy one looking as how Morgana was going around it, 

She created a fire ball on her palm the size of a football and told Alya to mimic it, Alya looking at it noticed something odd that that was the many rune symbols that were rotating around it and this confused her very much so. 

The normal fire ball she had seen wasn't anything like it, " It's an ability that primordials like you can use, it allows you to see through the hidden fabric of any magical spell " Morgana explained l, Alya seeing this relaxed a bit before concentrating on the ball of red frames. 

She started by counting the number of runes that were in the ball but it wasn't working since some of them looked like they overlapped each other and to some extent others were repeating itself, she tried five other methods but non were working out until she decided on another that seemed to be able to work, she memorised every single rune instead of counting them and arranging them in order inside her head mimicking what she saw using the photographic memory that dragons were known to have. 

As soon as she did this, she got to work creating the symbols and arranging each and every one of them the way she remembered but it didn't work on her first try as it did not even manifest, she tried again and it still didn't work , she kept trying until she managed to create a small ember, this made her really happy grinning from chin to chin , this gesture caught Morgana's attention looking at her as if she was looking at a child who was learning something bizarre and her curiosity was something that intrigued her it wasn't the curiosity that can be found in the average Child. 

it was as if the new found knowledge of magic made her happy, she was trying different things which in her perspective was stupid but to Alya it was something new, the more she failed the more she tried and obviously she lost track of time, a few hours passed through and she didn't seem to be stopping and she finally got something close to it , a fire ball that was close to that size but weaker in heat more like a warm ball . 

Morgana who had been watching her for a while was genuinely impressed " Try doing exactly what you did with the arrangement but this time in your mind " Morgana pointed out to Alya who quickly tried it and the results was a big ball of flame that was the same size " Now that you've done it well, create five different variations of this same fire ball " Morgana said to Alya who was already showing signs of tiring out but still had the fire to continue. 

She continued this time with renewed vigor, on her first attempt she was met with a reaction she didn't expect an explosion , she pulled out one of the rune that seemed to be keeping the stability of the spell causing a small explosion " Be careful with those spells, even if you are a dragon there is an extent to how much mistake you can make " Morgana advised Alya who didn't have a single scratch on her face , she is a dragon of course this sort of thing couldn't really hurt her.

-Ash bane :

A relaxant used by older dragons which is used in very little quantity, but is very toxic to new hatchlings ( new awakened) dragons. 

-rune arcania :

 is similar to using normal spells as shown in the story , but is described as the external manifestation of magic runes which is different from the usual spell casting having its own class of study separate from other aspects of magic.
