*********

In an ancient city in the palace of the ruler, an extraordinary boy was born, who was immediately foretold the Great Destiny of a hero who would be able to shake the whole world.

However, the boy did not care about all these predictions at the beginning of his life, he only played merrily, and trained under the guidance of his father's warriors.

But with each passing year the boy grew, and dreams of heroes began to dawn in his heart. However, even the boy himself realised that he didn't have enough talent, and so he decided to focus on what he had always been great at.

The young lad began to study the art of fighting and commanding an army, learnt to inspire and guide his warriors, and had simply incredible charisma.

The boy's father admired his talent, but was still not very happy that he lacked the usual strength that every hero should have, and so sent him to Chiron, one of the most famous warrior teachers in all of Greece.

There, the boy not only went through many different training sessions, becoming stronger and improving his talent once again, but also got to know several heroes. It was there that he met the one who was always referred to as the Greatest of Heroes, Hercules, the son of the god himself.

He was great and strong, able to defeat whole armies with his blows, but even he could not escape the influence of the guy's charisma. Even Heracles admired his talent and charisma, promising him that he would accompany him on a great feat.

That's when the young hero began his real journey. After his training, he immediately went to seek adventure and earn fame in the lands of his country. And he was immediately lucky, because he heard about an incredibly dangerous and ferocious beast that attacked the lands of the common people.

Blazing with justice, the young man could not just miss such a thing, and so he immediately went to the local king, promising to help him with the case.

There the guy also met a lot of heroes who were known throughout Greece, and together with them and just incredible talents, in which he saw the hidden greatness. With his charisma he conquered everyone, even the son of the local king, who was supposed to lead the campaign.

However, in fact, everything was led by the guy himself, giving the right commands and coordinating the group. His charisma seemed to amplify the strength of all the other heroes. In the end, the beast was defeated and it was time to do his skin. But the guy himself was no longer interested. Such values did not interest him much, because he had already received the highest value in this campaign, namely the admiration of all the heroes who participated in this campaign.

Having gained strength and confidence, the matured lad returned home, where he heard of his father's death. As the true heir to the throne, he immediately wished to become king, to make his homeland the best place in the world.

However, his uncle wanted to rule and gave the boy an impossible task. He was to gather heroes and march to a distant land, Colchis, for a great golden fleece that was rumoured to cure all diseases.

Anyone else would have given up in this situation, but certainly not the young hero. As soon as he announced that he was assembling a team for a great campaign that would be remembered for centuries, heroes from all over Greece came to him themselves. All those he had helped in his adventures, all his comrades in arms, and even Hercules himself. They all came to help him and to gain glory.

Well, many other heroes, after hearing about how great men were going on this quest, also decided to join them.

Already a young man built a Great Ship, which he named "Argo". Even the gods themselves helped in the construction of this ship, as well as many heroes, so it did not take long to build it.

However, the way to distant Colchis was not so simple as it seemed to the young hero. On the way they met many storms, and monsters sent by powerful monsters to hinder the heroes.

However, this could in no way hinder so many great heroes, it was the attitudes of the heroes themselves that caused more problems. All of them were great and arrogant personalities, and therefore it was impossible to do without arguments, seemingly trivial at first glance.

However, the charisma of the young hero solved almost of these problems. He found compromises and tried to reconcile everyone without losing his own dignity.

And so they managed to achieve their goal. However, things could not be too simple.

In Colchis itself, the local king angrily chased the heroes away, not wanting to give them the Fleece, because such a great relic could not belong to anyone else but himself.

But at the moment when it seemed that the whole adventure had failed, Jason received the blessing of the goddess of love, which charmed the young princess. The hero himself thought it was only his natural charm, and therefore saw nothing wrong with it.

The princess, under the influence of the goddess, betrayed her family and stole the Golden Fleece, giving it to her lover. He admired the young maiden and even began to like her much more.

However, the arrogant king learnt about all this and sent his army after the heroes. Captain Argo realised that they could cope, with the help of all the great heroes on his ship, but they would also suffer many losses.

But the princess, who saw the hero's despondency and was under the influence of the goddess, did the irreparable and killed her brother to delay her father's army. The great king fell into mourning and halted his armies, giving time for Argo to sail away.

However, Jason himself was not happy at all, but rather frightened. The princess had already begun to fade in his eyes and to take on the features of a witch, but he was sure that he could still fix her somehow. How naive he had been then!

When he arrived in his homeland and gave the Fleece to his uncle, however, he only received a refusal. This rejection knocked him out of his strength, and let his hatred for his lying relative into his heart.

And to his regret, this hatred was noticed by the very princess, Medea, who decided to solve all the problems of her lover by the most cruel methods. She enchanted the mind of the new King's daughters with magic and made them chop him into many pieces and kill him.

It would seem that now the hero had a chance to become king, but such cruelty made the others banish him with anger. A real fear of Medea had already appeared in the hero's heart, whom he now sincerely thought was only an evil witch.

But he was too afraid to refuse or drive her away in any way, so she wandered along with him. On the road of life they encountered many enemies, but Medea, almost maddened under the influence of the goddess, killed them all by the most cruel methods, frightening the hero even more.

But their wanderings did lead them to a better life. The city of Corinth was one of the richest in Greece, and the king himself met the man with kindness and hospitality.

Soon after, the hero met the king's daughter, Hlavka, who stood out strongly in a positive way against Medea. And the man fell in love with her, deciding to put aside his fear of the witch and banish her.

Having left the city in disgrace, Medea swore revenge, and fled into the forests. And the hero himself had already forgotten about her, he married the princess and even had several children. The king raised him as a future ruler, and said that the city would be transformed under his rule. Such a perfect life... one that was ruined by his past mistakes.

His former comrades-in-arms left the hero, convinced that he had made a life after all, and set off on their own adventures. And the man himself was already dreaming of becoming the greatest king of all. But unlike him, Medea did not forget about her promise of revenge. She returned to the city, killed the hero's wife and children, and maimed the hero himself.

As the one who brought the witch into the city, he was banished and forgotten of his existence. Wounded and abandoned by all, he came to his ship, which was already almost rotten from time, and decided to end his life where he had once been able to win great glory.

Just before he died, he only laughed at his own mistakes and accepted that he had only himself to blame for everything. Guilty of not being determined enough. Guilty of not noticing the goddess' influence on Medea. Guilty of wanting power too much. He wasn't decisive enough, strong enough, brave enough...

He didn't want to end his life this way... He only wanted to be a great hero.....

- Fuuuuuh," I exhaled heavily, waking up. This was so much stronger than before. I could feel Jason's feelings, and understood all of his motives as well as his mistakes. I felt sorry for him, I judged him, but I understood him nonetheless.

Despite his many not-so-nice actions, Jason remained for the rest of his life a guy who doesn't learn from his mistakes. He was a man who made mistakes just like the rest of us. He didn't have great power or powerful magic. Just faith in the future and hope for the best. And the ability to share it with others.

The important thing is not to become like him. I don't want to make my own mistakes, so I'll learn from the mistakes of those I've absorbed.

Okay... It's time to continue...
