Chapter six

While they were all asleep in the night Alex had dreams of when he was confined to bed,when he woke up he couldn't help but think maybe that man was his saviour

'Right, I can feel someone's watching me,better get up'

Alex stood up and observed the area,the trees were all silent and the winds were still "Who's there" Alex called out

A boy with short dark hair showed himself,he had blood red eyes and pale skin,and he wore a red kimono

"My apologies,my name is Xavier,I'm the fifth lower ranked warrior of the demon king,pleased to make your acquaintance" He did a long bow and smiled slyly

Alex returned the smile with a smirk and said "The pleasure is mine,I assume you have been sent here to kill me"

The boy then fronwed as the statement "If only,but not now"

The boy then moved at lightling speed and created light scratches around Alex body,Alex tried to heal them but they would not go away

A fire ball was sent flying at Xavier but he dodged it easily with his speed,Alex then felt a tremendously pain around the sides that he had been scratched and fell down screaming

"Aahhhghh!!!!" He screamed out

The pain had been so I bearable Alex's eyeballs threatened to topple to the other side,he had tears and spit flowing out of him,the rest quickly moved in front to defend him while Ember held him in his arms

Xavier smirked and ran at light speed,the rest tried to chase him but Ember stopped them,the pain then started to subside and Alex breathing then slowd down

His whole body was burning hot,the worst thing was that he couldn't heal himself,he sat straight and looked at the others who were worried about him

Ember had a look of rage in her eyes as a malicious aura seeped out "What happened back there?" She asked

Her behaviour startled everyone,even Alex,he stood up and patted her head smiling

"Don't make such a scary face,it doesn't suit you" Alex said

Ember blushed shyly while the other two looked away embarrassed at the lovey dovey scene

Seraphina then got tired and cut to the chase "What are we going to do,were in a pinch and you're acting like it's nothing!"She yelled at Alex

"I wouldn't feel free if I was constantly worried about the pain" He said out making her sigh

Alex then stretched his body and stood up

,the sun was already rising so resting time was over "Now I'm in a mood to train" He said

He then looked at Seraph who had been quiet all this while "Seraph come at me"

Seraph held his sword fimly and created multiple swords and sent it along at Alex but Alex easily deflected everything with his fire chains,the chains then floated around him ready to defend against anything

"I still feel bottlenecked though" He said staring at the chains

They trained for the entire day and went to bed the following night,all of a sudden Alex felt the tremendous pain and jolted up steaming,this time is was more painful than the last

He almost cried but he fought against it,a future demon king's shouldn't cry,he would endure any pain in the world so he could become demon king

It then stopped but he had again aroused the worry of the others,he now felt like dead weight but chuckled

He stared at the others and smiled to reassure them "This is nothing,I'll be fine"

Seraph then went off somewhere and wouldn't awnser anyone's questions but Alex understood that he had went to find Xavier

'I'll leave it to you then' He said inside

The following night after he felt like his organs were being cut from the inside,he decided not to shout this time, a demon king would

'Why do I want to be a demon king so much,it's not by force...'

Ember didn't sleep as she could only shed tears beside himthe pain the subsided and he sat up to wipe her tears

"I...I don't want to be demon king anymore" He said out

"Mhm" She replied warmly

"Don't you hate me for that,I'm being a coward" He whispered

"Even if you were the biggest scardycat I'd still stay by your side" She said smiling

Alex eyes widened at the statement,he could feel his cheeks heat up "What is I was a cripple heading to an early death?"

She smiled brightly and replied "Then I'd die with you"

Alex then grinned widely and stood up suddenly "Sorry for being a coward,what I meant to say is even if it costs mey life I will be demon king" He let out

Seraph was walking until he discovered Xavier sitting atop a tree, he quickly brought out sword and released his wings os as to soar into the air

He then created a series of white chains and sword all sent flying his way but he dodged everything easily

He then descended gracefully and greeted seraph with a smirk "My it seems my fanboy wouldn't stop following me around "

He then appeared behind seraph at lightling speed and pinned him face flat on the ground "Let's see how much pain you can handle"

Xavier then dug hands into Seraphs skin and held his heart firmly "your life is now in my hands" He smirked

Seraph struggled but he couldn't break free from Xavier's grip "Would you really kill me right off the bat,I thought we were like brothers" Seraph said out

Xavier lowered his eyelids and stopped smiling "We were until you betrayed the king,and I shall serve the king till my death,your loyalty is shallow and I feel disgusted having being close with you before"

Seraph then smiled and said "Is that so"

Seraph then shot out from his whole body thereby piercing Xavier all over,his plan of catching him off guard worked

Xavier was all bloddied up gasping for air "When did you learn how to smile" He said

"Is doesn't matter,you're dead" Xavier said out
