The Roaring Mountain

The burden on John's heart was lifted, he currently wanted to return to the city of Vant Jeroi quickly but he couldn't leave Elder Irving here. He was the warrior of Vant Jeroi city, he was the spearhead. Leaving his duty was a shame that he didn't want to feel any more embarrassment of running away.

At that moment, Derek who had finished hearing Elder Irving's story became speechless, he didn't expect that there would be such a big threat in this otherworldly ocean, he had the Hyper Adaptation skill to be able to survive in any terrain but facing a snake with a mouth that could swallow the continent was still scary.

Derek had been mentally prepared for the deaths of many people after the disaster he had caused without his knowledge but the thought of him being about to make trouble with a monster that could be called a natural disaster was a hassle he wanted to avoid.

Derek solidified himself next time, if he made something he would reduce the victim, he was not a person who didn't have a heart, he had but he chose to listen to his wishes, especially this time, he had the strength to do all of that after all he promised to live as he wanted in this world, so he would do that.

"Thank you for the warning... Who may I call you?"

"Irving" Irving Replied

"Irving, I'll remember your warning," Derek said to Irving smiling at him.

John was shocked, he saw Elder Irving compromise, he understood how painful it was to lose friends and soldiers, and he understood Irving's squeeze but the monster in front of him was too strong, Irving and John were forced to give up their best friends, their soldiers because of their own stupidity.

After all the drama was over, a huge earthquake rumbled, and a tall mountain with only a glimpse of the eye flew upwards.

"What is it, why is there a mountain darting up" Derek was shocked to see the scene, in this deep ocean that lacked light, a mountain had just passed them. Mana is very big after that Derek feels, that mana is so big that it makes mana like a sky filled with colors.

Derek stood up to make sure it was what passed but he was wrong, not passing but still passing by, the darkness of the deep ocean hiding his figure. He was stunned, he imagined the Leviathan being big but not this big. This size was neither human nor monstrous even.

He measured the entire length of the Leviathan in front of him who had just finished swimming in the ocean. He measured and saw more of which paths led deeper into the deeper parts of the ocean.

"What mountain, Mr. Derek no mountain has passed" Elder Irving joined in to stand up to see what exactly he saw and he afterward could barely stand knowing that the leviathan was passing by.

"No way, no way, Leviathan woke up, he should have woken up in another 80 years, why did he wake up now"

"What happened, was the earthquake that woke him up?"

Klea and John woke up in disbelief as they ate, the two of them sniffing their food and hearing Elder Irving. Claire, who was in romantic mode, returned to his serious mode and John, who was unfocused due to the developing situation, refocused.

"No, my earthquake wasn't strong enough to harm him or wake him from his sleep, something is going on in the middle of nowhere while you turn your head towards me."

"John, go back to the city of Vant Jeroi, wake up all the guards, put on standby one, and call all the elders back," Elder Irving said turning to John and giving him the order.

"Okay, elder Irving" John hurried home without the slightest hesitation. He immediately swam away from the direction Derek was in.

The basic person who can't hide his true intentions thought Derek while with a smile, he continued to pay attention to John, he realized his non-verbal behavior or gestures seemed to frighten him, he was too silent and his eyes couldn't look at me.

"Even a person of my strength will be very troublesome, so I'll continue my meal first," Derek said, taking his meal by surprise after the incident. Fighting the current leviathan will be his biggest challenge.

He could have done it but it was contrary to what he wanted, he wanted to relax without any problems. Against the Leviathan, don't joke, he doesn't want to do it, let others do it.

"I'm not here a cheerleader, not a hero, not an adrenaline junkie, I'm a High Human who just wants to live a relaxed life, I want to keep my words like your previous warriors" Added Derek who was not finished by giving the facts to Elder Irving.

Elder Irving couldn'tsay anything with Derek's stance, he was right, this was Elder Irving himself asking him to join in conquering Leviathan, Elder Irving thought he could ask Derek for help.

He considers Dereks to be allies but he is wrong, they are just acquaintances. Acquaintances who have no further relationship or obligation to protect each other.

"Honey, can you help me once this time, I'll give you more fish" Klea interfered with the conversation to help Elder Irving. Klea understands her duties and obligations well. She just didn't want to do it, but in the face of a precarious situation like this, she had no other choice.

"How much are we talking about?" Reply Derek curious about Klea's words

"At least three times as many and more diverse, we can eat them later as we travel the world"

"Alright, I'll help, but I'm not going to give you any certainty that I'm going to win" Derek set his heart up for the sake of more fish. Klea is indeed extraordinary, it's not wrong for me to appoint her as a military elder, Elder Irving gave his appreciation to Klea with a smile and body gestures.
