Chapter 11: A Time of Reflection

The storm completed its path through the waters and produced a moment of peaceful skies together with soothing currents. Olivia and Liam accepted reflection as their only activity after the troubled times ended as they enjoyed every beautiful moment they experienced together. The passing pace of time became much slower while they discovered peace through this period of tranquility.

They took many hours to stroll down their well-known shoreline while a soft ocean breeze blew through their hair. The resulting wave noises against the rocks turned into peaceful music with every footstep leading them deeper into their present state of mind. The couple strolled side by side without a destination to experience simply being with one another.

Each new day brought Olivia increased brightness, as each evening showered the view with a beautiful light. Through Liam, she found joy, which drew such happiness from the world that it seemed the universe supported their new-found happiness. The pieces of her heart hidden deep inside gained completeness through the power of love combined with her strength and faith in trusting herself.

A silent contemplation filled Olivia's mind as she gazed at where the ocean met the sky while she expressed "Peace has never felt this way to me."

While holding Olivia against his body Liam showed a gentle grin. According to what he told her quietly, peace was only one part of our connection. "It’s us. We built this—together."

At that point, they shared the knowledge of their tremendous growth. Their initial fears about trials splitting them had transformed into an unbreakable love because those challenges drew them nearer together.

The upcoming sunset revealed to Olivia that no matter what challenges lay ahead their love together with trust was stronger than ever. The journey had more to encounter yet the present brought peace to rest before continuing forward. This newfound serenity was enough to simply breathe and observe. Through their time together they endured each storm that came their way together, These two would welcome every future sunrise that appeared.
