Haru sat by the window, his gaze fixed outside as a gentle breeze rustled the trees. Something felt… off. Maybe it was just his gut, or maybe it was the fact that school had been too peaceful lately. And peace? Yeah, peace never lasted.
Of course, that wasn’t going to stop him from dozing off in the middle of this incredibly dull lecture. The teacher’s voice was nothing more than background noise, blending into the distant chatter of students in the hallway. His eyelids grew heavier by the second, his mind already slipping into sweet, sweet unconsciousness.
Then— BRRRRING!
Sweet freedom.
The bell rang, signaling the start of lunch, and Haru wasted no time. He grabbed his bag, stood up, and made his way toward the cafeteria. A well-earned meal awaited him—probably some cold rice and mystery meat, but at least it was food.
Or at least, that was the plan.
Grab.
Haru barely had time to react before a strong grip latched onto his collar.
