Air Outside the School

After dragging me out of the cafeteria, Do Hwan finally stopped at a quiet corner of the school’s back garden. He let go of my wrist, but his body was still too close to mine, making me feel cornered.

I let out a frustrated sigh, glaring at him. “What is wrong with you? Why did you have to pull me away like this?”

Do Hwan crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes still filled with emotion. “I should be the one asking. Why didn’t you tell me about that photo? Why did you let me find out from someone else?”

I scoffed, folding my arms. “And then? What would change if I told you? Nothing! This is my problem, Do Hwan. I have to deal with it myself!”

Do Hwan ran a hand over his face in frustration. “You’re always like this, Narin. Always trying to face everything alone!”
