Katy Qweniry, a princess with undeniable charm, hailed from the prosperous Kingdom of Oscar. The kingdom, ruled by the wise King Alex and the graceful Queen Meghan, lied far from the majestic Kingdom of Atlas. Ever since Katy first breathed her life into this world, the Kingdom of Atlas and Oscar had forged a strong alliance, based on mutually beneficial trade and deep respect.
Katy, the fruit of this union, was blessed with stunning beauty. Her sparkling orange hair, like the rising sun breaking through the morning, contrasts with her snow-white skin. Her eyes, a captivating emerald green, hold intelligence and kindness that radiated from within. Her petite yet seductive figure, her body curves like beautiful sculptures that captivated anyone who saw her. More than just physical beauty, Katy was an intelligent and talented princess. She spoke multiple languages, was proficient in martial arts, and had a deep understanding of politics and government strategy.
At the age of fifteen, the long-awaited time had come for Princess Katy's official visit to the Kingdom of Atlas. Their arrival was greeted with a grand ceremony, flags and banners fluttering in the wind, and the cheers of the Atlas people echoed throughout the palace.
As their royal carriage stopped in the palace courtyard, the giant doors swung open. In the doorway stood the Titan King and Queen Alzena, rulers of Atlas. The Titan King, with his wise eyes, smiled warmly. Queen Alzena, with her neatly combed brown hair and sparkling purple dress, looked friendly and reassuring.
"Welcome to Atlas, King Alex, Queen Meghan, and Princess Katy." the Titan King greeted in a booming yet friendly voice. "We are honored to welcome you to our kingdom,"
Queen Alzena stepped forward and hugged Queen Meghan gently. "We have been looking forward to your visit for a long time. I hope you find yourselves at home in Atlas," Her gaze then shifted to Katy, and she smiled. "Princess Katy, it is a pleasure to meet you. You must be tired after your long journey,"
Katy bowed politely. "Thank you, Your Majesty Queen Alzena. It is my honor to be here,"
King Alex shook the Titan King's hand firmly. "Thank you for the wonderful welcome, King Titan. We greatly appreciate your hospitality."
Queen Alzena smiled serenely. "After your long journey, a delicious meal awaits. Allow us to escort you to the dining room,"
As the kings walked down the long, echoing corridors, Princess Katy remained behind, her eyes drawn to the portraits lining the walls. Each canvas contained a piece of the Atlas kingdom's history, but it was the addition of the prince's portrait that caught her attention. Her eyes fell on two familiar figures, two handsome princes she had heard of since childhood, Prince Cyrill and Prince Enver.
Cyrill, the heir to the Atlas throne, had an aura of calm and wisdom. His deep green eyes showed intelligence and strong determination. His towering height and broad shoulders showed the firmness of a leader. Meanwhile, Enver, the second prince, exuded a more courageous and charismatic aura. His charming smile, his silver hair, and his playful eyes could melt anyone’s heart.
Katy felt her heart beating faster than usual. She had seen their portraits, of course, but portraits could not fully capture the radiance of their personalities. She knew that her relationship with Atlas was more than diplomacy and that there was something much more, a potential romance that could shape her future.
The grand dining room shimmered with candlelight, reflecting off the polished silverware and the intricate carvings that adorned the walls. Princess Katy, a fifteen-year-old girl with emerald green eyes, entered the room, her floral dress billowing around her, her voice echoing slightly. “Where is the prince?” She chirped, her gaze sweeping over the assembled royal family.
Her voice echoed through the room. King Titan laughed heartily, his voice bouncing off the high, vaulted ceiling. “A prince, huh? Would you like to meet your future acquaintance, little girl?”
Queen Meghan, with cheeks flushed a soft pink, bowed slightly in apology to King Titan & Queen Alzena. "Please forgive Princess Katy's impudence," She murmured. "She is still learning the intricacies of royal protocol,"
Queen Alzena, a woman of stern beauty, exchanged glances with King Titan, the reason for this grand dinner. Its purpose was to cement a long-discussed alliance with the Oscar kingdom.
The Titan King cleared his throat, his voice deep and resonant. "My dear daughter," He said, his gaze meeting Katy's. "Prince Enver will soon join us for dinner and there is a skilled musician and charming conversationalist, I assure you he will be a delight."
King Titan paused for a moment, and a shadow seemed to cross his face. "However, our eldest son, Prince Cyrill, is unfortunately unable to attend. He has been engaged in a grueling hunt these past few days and needs to rest,"
As the servants began to serve the first course, the great doors opened. Silence fell over the dining room as Prince Enver stepped inside. He was a muscular figure and a sharp gaze, his silver hair slicked back and neatly cut.
Katy's breath hitched. She was shocked beyond belief, when she first saw Prince Enver, a creature created by God who was very handsome and masculine.
However, amidst the awe that enveloped her, a glimmer of something else remained curious. Enver was not the older prince. He had a brother, Cyrill, heir to the throne of Atlas. Cyrill, whom she had never met.
The legends also spoke of Cyrill. He was said to be quieter, more thoughtful than his brother. And despite Enver's striking appearance, Cyrill was said to have a charisma that could sway even the hardest of hearts.
Enver had the allure of a force of nature that demanded attention. But Cyrill... Cyrill was an enigma, a mystery she yearned to unravel.
As Enver approached the table, his presence radiating heat, Katy forced herself to meet his gaze. "Prince Enver," He said, his voice a little too high for her taste.
He bowed his head slightly. "Princess Katy of Oscar. It is an honor to finally meet you," His voice rumbled softly, sending shivers down her spine.
King Titan, sensing the unspoken tension, cleared his throat. "Enver, perhaps you could accompany Princess Katy for a walk in the garden after dinner? The moonflowers are in full bloom,"
Enver bowed his head. "With pleasure. It is done, Princess Katy. Let us enjoy some fresh air in the garden," He invited.
Katy nodded and followed Enver out into the torch-lit garden. The sound of the fountain and the intoxicating scent of roses immediately calmed her mind. They walked along a path decorated with small lanterns.
However, her attention was drawn to the figure standing at the end of the illuminated hallway. Prince Cyrill, heir to the throne of the Atlas Kingdom.
Cyrill, with his upright posture and sharp eagle gaze, was sharpening an arrow under the afternoon sunlight that came through the tall window, reflecting off his jet-brown hair, creating an undeniable aura of power and authority.
Enver, who seemed to sense Katy's change in mood, paused for a moment. "Princess Katy, let me introduce you, this is my brother, Prince Cyrill."
Cyrill finished sharpening his bow and turned his head. A faint smile spread across his lips when he saw Katy. "Princess Katy, it's an honor." He bowed slightly, his movements graceful and dignified.
Katy, who was usually full of cheerfulness and words, was suddenly at a loss for words. Her heart was pounding in her chest. Her bright emerald eyes, which were previously filled with curiosity, were now fixed on Cyrill. She seemed to be bewitched by the handsomeness that radiated from the eldest prince. His tanned skin was clean with brown hair and his sharp gaze seemed to penetrate the depths of her soul.
"It's an honor for me too, Prince Cyrill." Katy finally managed to mutter, her cheeks burning hot.
Cyrill smiled wider, as if amused by her nervousness. "I hope you enjoy the dinner. I apologize for not coming, there were some royal matters."
He nodded respectfully to Katy and Enver, then turned and left the room and left Katy frozen in place.
Enver, who seemed unaware of the monumental effect of the brief meeting, patted Katy's shoulder lightly. "Come, Katy. I will show you the palace's rose garden, it is the pride of the kingdom."
“Forgive me, Prince Enver." She said, her voice soft. “I am not feeling well today. Perhaps I will gladly accept your invitation another time,"
Prince Enver showed a look of disappointment that he tried to hide behind a knowing smile. “Of course, Princess. Your health comes first. I hope you get well soon,"
Princess Katy declined his invitation, asking to be taken to her room. When they arrived, she lay down on her luxurious bed, Cyrill’s face haunting her. The fleeting admiration turned into something deeper, stronger. She, Princess Katy, had fallen in love with Prince Cyrill, heir to the throne of the Atlas Kingdom, at first sight.
Then Prince Enver, walked lightly along the palace corridor and was about to go to his private room, where he could rest and read his favorite books.
However, before reaching the door of his room, his gaze fell on something that caught his attention. At the end of the corridor, through the large window facing the front yard of the palace, Enver saw his older brother, Prince Cyrill, riding his mighty black horse. Cyrill, who was 20 years old and the heir to the throne, looked in a hurry.
Enver's brow furrowed. Cyrill rarely left the palace without telling him. They were very close, sharing stories and secrets with each other. A strange feeling suddenly crept into his heart.
"Cyrill, my brother!" He shouted, trying to call his brother before it was too late.
However, it was in vain. Cyrill, with an upright posture and a straight gaze, spurred his black horse even faster. The black horse sped away at high speed, leaving dust billowing behind him. The palace gates opened wide, and Cyrill, like a dark shadow, disappeared behind the magnificent walls of the palace.
Enver was stunned. His heart was pounding. What had Cyrill in such a hurry? Where was he going, and why didn't he tell him anything? The questions swirled around in his mind, making him feel restless and curious. He tried to think clearly. Maybe there was something important that Cyrill had to attend to suddenly.
