On a bright morning, the cloudless blue sky welcomed the arrival of the royal guests who wanted to watch the archery competition in the vast field of the Atlas kingdom. The sound of cheers and laughter echoed, while the entire kingdom, including King Titan and Queen Alzena, rushed to the location of the event. Among them, Princess Katy was the most eye-catching figure. With a dress made of black silk and decorated with gold lace, she looked graceful and excited. Her archer's uniform looked perfect, showing her feminine strength.
Princess Katy was escorted by the castle carriage, while Darnisha, a commoner, watched Princess Katy's carriage with eyes full of hope and sadness. She wanted to go to the event, but the carriage that Prince Cyrill had given her was broken.
When Princess Katy arrived at the field, the atmosphere was already lively. She took a little time to whisper to her lady-in-waiting, Agatha. "I feel very ready for this competition," She said, remembering the competition between archers that she had participated in before.
Her lady-in-waiting, Agatha, immediately replied enthusiastically, "You are a high-ranking princess, Your Highness. The people must know the limits of your abilities. They have seen your archery, Your Highness." Agatha's words reminded Katy.
Before the opening ceremony, King Titan stepped gracefully into the center of the arena. His firm voice greeted the audience, introducing the competition and encouraging the participants.
An aura of cheerfulness and warmth spread to all present. However, in another corner, Prince Cyrill felt uneasy. He looked at the crowd and realized that Darnisha was not among them. A feeling of anxiety gripped him and he immediately called some guards to look for Darnisha.
"Make sure Darnisha is okay," Cyrill ordered in a serious tone. "I don't want something bad happen to her,"
Amidst the excitement of the archery field filled with the cheers of the people, an aura of tension enveloped the atmosphere.
Darnisha arrived, her charming appearance seemingly bewitching everyone present. However, no one was more surprised than Princess Katy.
“Wha- how? How could she arrive here just as the king’s opening was announced?” Katy’s voice shook with panic. She clearly remembered her plan to prevent Darnisha from joining the competition. Darnisha’s carriage was supposed to have an accident that would take a long time to complete.
Meanwhile, Prince Cyrill roared happily as he greeted Darnisha. He lowered his head and gave Darnisha a gentle kiss on her forehead. “My dear, why are you a little late?” He asked, trying to steal the attention from the strange aura that enveloped the arena.
“Just a small problem, Prince. But it’s fine now,” Darnisha replied with a smile. However, her smile immediately faded when she caught Princess Katy’s sharp gaze.
Katy felt discomfort in her chest, as if Darnisha could see into her soul. “She must know,” she thought unconsciously. Hoping that Darnisha didn’t realize that she played a role in the incident of her broken carriage.
Without hesitation, Darnisha stepped closer to Princess Katy. “Don’t ever do that again, Princess. Don't cheat," She said in an unusually cold tone. “Because if you cheat even once without honesty, karma will come to you.” The mischievous smile that adorned Darnisha's face seemed to confirm her threat, and made Katy shiver in fear.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of the magnificent archery arena, the voice of the committee echoed, announcing the beginning of the first session. The audience clapped and cheered happily when Princess Katy's name was called. Gracefully, she stepped forward with pride in herself.
As she prepared to release her first arrow, a soft, annoying voice sounded from behind.
"Hopefully nothing happens when you shoot, Princess." Darnisha said, a cynical smile on her face. Suspicion gripped Princess Katy's heart. There was something fishy in Darnisha's unusual tone.
Princess Katy took the bow that was handed over respectfully by Prince Enver, princess katy looked at the audience from the excited crowd. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her heartbeat that was getting faster with fear.
The first arrow flew perfectly, landing in the middle of the target. The cheers from the audience poured like a waterfall, restoring her spirit.
However, as she prepared for the second arrow, uncertainty struck. Suddenly, the second arrow missed its course, turned sharply and headed towards him. Instantly, silence fell around the archery arena.
Everyone's eyes widened. A scream of fear erupted from the audience. Before the arrow could hurt Princess Katy, Prince Enver dashed forward. With incredible courage, he blocked the arrow with his bare hand. Blood flowed from his injured palm, saving Princess Katy's life.
The crowd became noisy. Prince Cyrill, King Titan, and Queen Alzena rushed to Prince Enver, anxiety ringing in the air. Prince Enver fell to the ground, while Princess Katy was stunned, still caught in the shock attack. She witnessed the terrifying scene when the arrow almost hit her eyeball. Luckily, Prince Enver arrived just in time.
Quickly, everyone carried Prince Enver to the palace room, while the competition was temporarily stopped. In the silence, the fake Darnisha looked at Princess Katy with an evil smile, and go away from the palace hall.
Princess Katy felt fear grip her heart. Then Princess Katy went into the room where she saw Prince Enver lying weak, but she knew behind all this there was something bigger that she had to face.
With renewed determination, Princess Katy planned to dig up the truth about who Darnisha really was and stop the evil plans that might threaten her and her loved ones. She had to be strong, not only for herself, but also for Prince Enver who had sacrificed himself for her safety.
The real Darnisha has just arrived, and she walked steadily towards the archery field, her eyes sweeping over the anxious crowd. The whispers added to the tension in the air, and she felt something was wrong. At that moment, her feeling was right; a tragedy had occurred.
She approached a soldier who was standing at the side of the field, looking anxious. "What happened? Why does everyone look scared?" She asked, anxious.
The soldier looked at her as if in surprise. "Didn't you see what just happened?" He asked back. "Prince Enver was injured by Princess Katy's archery. During the competition, something unexpected happened and her arrow deviated and hit the prince."
Darnisha felt a lump in her throat. Prince Enver? "Where is he now?" Darnisha asked quickly.
"Prince Enver was taken to main room. King Titan, Queen Alzena, Prince Cyrill, and Princess Katy are accompanying him." The soldier replied, looking towards the door to the castle.
Without hesitation, Darnisha rushed to the room, wanting to check on the injured prince. But when she reached the door, Prince Cyrill came out, his face looking gloomy and tired. When he saw Darnisha, he slowed his steps, as if trying to endure something painful.
"Darnisha," Cyrill said in a heavy voice. "The competition is temporarily suspended. Princess Katy was very careless in her archery. She shouldn't have fired an arrow like that,"
Darnisha stared at Prince Cyrill in confusion. "But how could that happen? Was Princess Katy not focused?" She asked, trying to understand this complicated situation.
Cyrill took a deep breath, as if searching for the right words. "Princess Katy, she probably hoped to win this archery event so that she would be called a skilled archer. But all of this... shouldn't have turned out like this,"
Darnisha sensed the sadness and emptiness in Cyrill's voice. "Will Prince Enver be okay?" She asked, trying to find hope amidst the chaos.
Cyril shook his head slowly. "We don't know yet. The doctors are trying their best to treat him. Everyone is praying that he will survive,"
Darnisha's heart was heavy upon hearing those words. She knew that Princess Katy must be suffering greatly right now. Not only because of this incident, but also because of the emotional burden she was carrying.
Darnisha wanted to step in and offer support, but it felt inappropriate at such a critical time. "If the competition has to be stopped, then I must respect that." She said softly, trying to show understanding. "However, we must also support Princess Katy. This is a difficult time for all of us,"
Cyrill smiled weakly, sensing Darnisha's spirit shining in the light. "You're right. We must stick together, no matter what."
With a firm decision, Darnisha and Cyrill stepped into Prince Enver's room, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
Prince Enver immediately stood up and paid his respects before his father and mother, King Titan King and Queen Alzena who looked dashing and graceful. A smile spread across Prince Enver's face when he saw them, his heart filled with gratitude.
"Princess Katy, are you okay? No arrows hit you," He asked sincerely.
Princess Katy, who had previously looked anxious, nodded weakly and thanked King Titan and Queen Alzena in a soft voice and also apologized to them for the situation that had occurred. "Forgive me, Your Highness. This all happened because of me," She said while bowing her head.
King Titan and Queen Alzena exchanged glances before King Titan nodded. "It's okay, Princess Katy. We are grateful that you are safe," He said in a firm, but gentle voice.
As the atmosphere began to calm down, the arrival of Darnisha and Prince Cyrill interrupted the conversation between King Titan and Princess Katy.
Darnisha, who had long, shining blonde hair, drew everyone's attention.
Darnisha's eyes widened when she saw Prince Enver's injured hand which was wrapped in bandages. "Prince Enver!" She exclaimed, a worried tone filling her voice. "What happened to you?"
Prince Enver narrowed his eyes, feeling displeased with Darnisha's presence. However, Darnisha ignored Prince Enver's treatment, she immediately approached Enver and looked at him seriously.
"I know this may not mean much, but I hope you get better soon. This wound must hurt," Darnisha said sincerely, reaching out to touch his shoulder.
Prince Enver felt the warmth from her touch and he really annoyed by that.
Princess Katy, couldn't take her eyes off Prince Enver and her heart was shaken when she saw Darnisha approaching the prince and touching Prince Enver's shoulder.
A feeling of jealousy welled up in Katy's heart. She felt as if Darnisha was trying to take something that should have been hers. She saw Darnisha as a rival.
With a voice full of sarcasm, Katy decided to speak. "Oh, Darnisha, it seems like you're training to be the seductress for the two princes, huh? Why don't you register yourself as a castle concubine?" she said in a mocking tone.
King Titan and Queen Alzena were shocked, as if they couldn't believe Princess Katy's words.
King Titan, with a reprimanding look, tried to ease the tension. "Princess Katy, the prince can tell Darnisha himself if he feels disturbed."
Just then, Prince Enver looked at Darnisha, saying, "Don't touch me, and thank you. But I'm fine," His words sounded firm.
However, Darnisha did not give up. "I apologize for being so bold to touch your shoulder, but you should know, Prince. Courage like yours is very rare. I really admire that," She said with a soft smile. Then she responded to Princess Katy's words even though her face was a little red because of the taunt. "And Princess Katy, there's nothing wrong with showing respect to the Prince when he's injured like this." She replied in a soft voice.
Prince Cyrill who was just frozen hearing the dispute between them, finally spoke up. "Princess Katy, everyone has the right to be kind to each other. There is no need for competition between you two,"
"Guards, take Prince Enver to his room." ordered King Titan in a firm voice. "He needs enough rest,"
While the guards escorted Prince Enver to his room, Princess Katy felt restless. Something felt wrong. She looked at Darnisha and felt strange. Darnisha was wearing different clothes from what she had worn at the archery range.
"Why is Darnisha wearing this?" Katy asked herself, her curiosity growing. She remembered very well how charming Darnisha had been when she had stepped onto the range, wearing a beautiful silk dress, full of intricate details depicting the stars.
Princess Katy felt uneasy. Not only did Darnisha's clothes look different, but the atmosphere around her also felt strange. Princess Katy immediately made a hidden investigation plan on Darnisha, when something strange happened today.
