The loud ringing of an alarm clock jolted Lucian Solis awake. His golden eyes flickered open, only to widen in horror as they landed on the clock.
7:30 AM.
"NOOO! I didn't set the clock properly!" he shouted, scrambling out of bed.
Today was supposed to be his school's field trip, and they were told to come earlier than usual. But in his usual carelessness, he had completely forgotten to set the alarm. Without wasting another second, Lucian grabbed a piece of toast, devoured it in record time, and bolted out the door, sprinting toward the academy.
As he reached the front gates, he caught sight of Darius Vex, his sharp-eyed rival, standing with his arms crossed.
Lucian let out a sigh of relief. "Oh, I made it on time—"
"You're late, as usual!" Darius barked. "Do you ever come on time?!"
Before Lucian could retort, a calm voice interjected.
"You're one to talk, Darius. You just got here five minutes ago," said Elias Vale, a quiet and timid classmate.
Darius scowled, but before another argument could start, Professor Aldric arrived, adjusting his spectacles.
"The school bus already left, didn't it?" Lucian asked.
Professor Aldric sighed. "It did. But don't worry—we'll be taking my car instead."
Lucian grinned. "Nice, VIP treatment!"
With that, the group piled into the professor's vehicle, unaware that their ordinary school day was about to spiral into chaos.
Scene Change – The Hero Association Headquarters
A loud alarm blared throughout the facility. Red warning lights flashed as frantic voices filled the control room.
A woman in a uniform rushed toward the commander, panic in her voice.
"Sir! We have an emergency! There's an unidentified masked intruder attacking the Luminara Power Plant!"
The commander's expression darkened. "Who is it?"
"We don't have a full profile yet, but reports indicate he's using Abysera-based abilities."
The commander immediately grabbed the radio. "Cancel all school trips near the district! Contact Caelum Astralis!"
A voice crackled through the radio.
"I heard the news. I'm on my way."
Back to Lucian's Group – On the Road
Inside the car, Lucian sat in the backseat, staring out the window, when suddenly, the professor's phone began ringing.
Darius glanced at him. "Professor, your phone's ringing. Aren't you going to answer?"
Aldric shook his head. "Using a phone while driving is prohibited. Whatever it is, I'll check it once we arrive."
Minutes later, they reached the power plant entrance.
The moment the car stopped, Lucian immediately jumped out, eager to explore.
But just as Aldric checked his phone, his face turned pale.
"Everyone, get back in the car. Now. The trip has been canceled."
Darius frowned. "Wait, what? Why?"
The professor clenched his jaw. "It's a serious situation."
A realization hit Darius. "Oh no—Lucian already ran inside!"
Aldric's eyes widened. "This is bad."
Caelum Arrives – The Clash of Light and Shadow
The Luminara Power Plant stood in ruins. Smoke billowed from shattered walls, and sparks flickered from broken machinery. Unconscious heroes lay scattered across the battlefield, victims of an overwhelming force.
Amidst the destruction, Lucian Solis stood frozen, his golden eyes widened in disbelief.
A lone figure hovered above the carnage, draped in a flowing black and red cloak. His mask, dark as the abyss, concealed his identity, but his aura oozed pure malevolence.
Ruinshade.
Ruinshade said: "The process has been completed the Luminara has been successfully in the box"
He opens a portal and puts it in.
Lucian's instincts screamed at him to run.
But before he could move—
"Found you."
A pulse of dark energy surged toward him.
Before the attack could land, a golden blur intercepted it.
A powerful barrier of pure Luminara expanded outward, deflecting the Abysera blast and shaking the ground beneath them.
Lucian turned, his heart pounding.
The man who had just saved him was Seraphis Vance, one of Solmara's Elite Eclipsion Guardians. He has short brown hair and dark green eyes. Wearing a uniform with a hero emblem—a faction dedicated to preserving balance.
"Lucian, get out of here," Seraphis commanded, stepping forward.
Ruinshade tilted his head, amused. "Ah, Seraphis Vance. I've heard about you—Solmara's Heavenly Guardian."
Seraphis narrowed his eyes. "You will not leave here alive."
He raised his hand, summoning Luminara Chains, radiant bindings that shot toward Ruinshade.
Ruinshade dodged every attack Seraphis was using. Ruinshade chuckled and said "I'm going to end this"
Ruinshade throwed many Oblivion Spears. Seraphis used Luminara barrier but the Oblivion Spears pierced through the barrier and Seraphis couldn't do anything Ruinshade kept on attacking him.
A new presence descended from the sky—a warrior bathed in golden light.
Caelum Astralis.
His blue hair gleamed under the moonlight, and his red eyes burned with determination. In his grasp was the Zenith Blade, a sword gifted to him by Lucian himself. The blade pulsed with raw Luminara energy, its radiance standing in stark contrast to Ruinshade's abyssal presence.
"Oh?" Ruinshade's lips curled into a smirk. "The undefeated prodigy himself."
Caelum didn't waste words. He took his stance.
"Your destruction ends here, Ruinshade."
The battle began.
The Duel: Ruinshade vs. Caelum Astralis
Ruinshade struck first, launching Oblivion Spears—dozens of Abysera-infused projectiles that ripped through the air like death itself.
Caelum's Astral Mirage activated instantly—his form blurred as he split into afterimages, weaving through the deadly barrage.
He's fast, Ruinshade thought.
Caelum countered, slashing forward with Solar Dominion, unleashing a wave of searing golden energy.
Ruinshade smirked, raising his hand.
"Void Barrier."
A sphere of Abysera enveloped him, absorbing the attack before collapsing into nothingness.
"Tch." Caelum narrowed his eyes. He's negating my Luminara with Abysera.
In an instant, Ruinshade closed the distance, his Oblivion Core materializing—a spherical abyss of pure destruction.
"Abyssal Rend!"
A slashing shockwave erupted from the sphere, warping reality itself as it surged toward Caelum.
Caelum vanished.
Ruinshade barely had time to react before Caelum reappeared behind him, blade already in motion.
"Zenith Slash!"
A crescent arc of radiant energy tore through the air, striking Ruinshade dead-on.
BOOM!
The impact sent Ruinshade hurtling backward, crashing through debris.
Seraphis took the chance, extending his hand. "Luminara Binding!"
Chains of golden light shot forward, wrapping around Ruinshade's body, restricting his movements.
"Now, Caelum! Finish it!" Seraphis shouted.
Caelum raised the Zenith Blade, its glow intensifying.
"Zenith Judgment!"
A massive golden energy wave erupted from the blade, descending upon Ruinshade like divine retribution.
The battlefield shook. The explosion's impact created a crater, engulfing Ruinshade in searing light.
For a moment, silence.
Then—
A distortion of shadows.
Caelum's eyes widened. "No—"
A black flash.
And Ruinshade was gone.
Caelum gets mad i couldn't catch him and all the Luminara has completely vanished
Scene Change – Solmara Academy Student Council Office
The room was dimly lit. A single ornate desk sat in the center, papers meticulously arranged. Behind it, a young man with jet-black hair and piercing crimson eyes sat with his hands folded.
The Student Council President of Nocteria Academy—Lazarus Draevon.
In front of him stood Ruinshade, his cloak tattered, his mask cracked. He clenched his fists in frustration.
"You completed your task," Lazarus stated calmly, his expression unreadable.
Ruinshade scowled. "That damn Caelum Astralis…"
Ruinshade got mad he punched the wall and throwed the desk
Lazarus smirked calm down Veylen. "Did you know? Caelum has a rival in our school."
Ruinshade's eyes snapped to him. "What?"
Lazarus leaned forward. "Not long ago, there was one boy from our school who defeated him. His name is Lucian Solis."
Silence.
Then, a slow, wicked grin spread across Ruinshade's face.
"That boy… I saw him at the park the other day."
His Abysera aura crackled.
"Then I'll crush Lucian Solis."
